Even though it was not in high season, the beach was not clean... Plastic, napkins etc scattered everywhere. Prices?! Oh my God! Should they dress like bank robbers?!? 100% Yes! At least you would know When disembarking you should hear: Freeze! Put your hand in the air and give us all your money!

My expectations were greater, but overall a nice place. I recommend one day visit not the accommodation here. Despite there were plenty of fish choices in the restaurant's menu, ALL fish was frozen and not fresh. No local wines on the menu. Prices too high for low quality

Unique place in Romania. The most recent beach in Romania. It even has a pool with 35 lei/day and drinks and ice-cream. There is a place where you may eat (good food). There is a restroom on the beach and 30 Ron/day is beach armchair.

Stopped here for an hour during a boat trip in Delta Dunarii. The food was decent, the location was wonderful. The location could be kept in better shape.

The place had a beautiful view and we had a pretty pleasant stay. We were together with our 4 month old child and my parents. The room and bathroom were clean and the beds were comfy. Some of our complaints are the following: - On our first night here, the fish dish was terrible; the fish were most likely not fresh and this was a very bad first impression for all of us; - One of the waiters had a bad attitude towards us and was even offended when he didn't get any tips; - Most of the fish based dishes were not so great especially as we already had the experience of having tasted the food at Mila 23, a village in the Danube Delta with the same fish types; - the rooms were nice and tidy, the only two things that ruined a bit the experience were the multiple squashed mosquito marks on the walls, and the shower cabin that had some design flaws as the water was not draining properly.

Great location and scenery, but single accomodation provider with disproportionate prices compared to conditions and single restaurant with huge prices, small plates moderate to low quality

The place is nice but services so-so, I mean in case you try to eat at resort restaurant when visiting the place you won't be served properly and being moved from a table to another without an apparent reason.

Nice beach. A bit remote (accessible only by boat, 30min by a taxiboat, about 14eur totall both ways) and therefore more private than many other beaches like those in Mamaia.

Amazing place. We could see wild horses and dolphins in the sea. We camped on the beach. The camping was clean access was ok to clean toilets and showers.

Beautiful place but quite expensive for the service they provide. Guests are being agressed by their fish and boat transportation provider, who very often is visiting the island and drinks too much alcohol. This guy thinks he is the king of the island and there is no one above him. The owner should take action immediatly and find another provider for his bussiness, otherwise he will lose everything. So sad that this is still happening in this world.

Overrated big time, not wild, just dirty. The restaurant is a total no-go, better safe than sorry.

For a restaurant on the lake/sea side, the fish had no taste. The waiter was really polite and willing to help, on the other hand her supervisor was rude, with a very dissrespectufull tone. I will never come back here

It was better than I expected. It is a nice and relaxing place, not so crowded. The accomodation was good. The rooms on the island are large and clean. The food from the restaurant was very tasty, the services were good. The big minus from my point of view was the lack of fruits from menu.

Wonderful place, not overcrowded, with good services! Some of them should be better enforced, like places destination policies, but all in all, it is a nice place to go and spend a couple of days.

Beautiful relaxing beach. You have to take a speed boat ride from Jurilovca. You can also enjoy very tasty foods

Quiet and relaxing place in the middle of the nature. Nice beaches full of seashells and not crowded at all.... Almost deserted wilderness. Only one restaurant with good and diverse food. Very good quality romanian wines.

We make sure to visit this beach every time we go to the romanian seaside. The boat trip from Jurilovca is an added thrill. The serene wild life (wild horses, birds, fish) that we get to admire closely calls us back every year.

Food is too expensive and not matching the expectations or price. Also service depends on the mood of the waiter… but the place, the nature is worth seeing, suitable for a one day trip.

It is so famous with its island like feeling, hard to reach across the waters, so it became a must see for any Romanian looking for a remote wilde beach. None of these; a very popular restaurant with average food and service, a very busy boat station for the exceptional commuting service provided in style by locals, a fair and standard beach with deep sea in front and a prettyer, shallower, wilder one to the south, and that' all, you get bored and you want back home on the mainland. It will be a tourist attraction anyway, as the curious people are in large supply.

Good service, very nice location, live entertainment in the weekend, cozy rooms (vrey nice pillows and beds) - slept like a baby. On the negative side, you have to wait a bit for some hot water after leaving it running; in the weekend many one-day tourists kind of ruin the atmosphere.

20 min with speed boat from the port, very nice beach on black sea on the other side of the lake...

Lovely little place if you're looking for a quieter beach away from the fuss of well known resorts. Our room was one step away from the beach which meant that we could hear the sound of the crashing waves every morning and evening. Unfortunately there were noisy tourists coming for the day but at least most of them would leave at about 4 pm. The food was very nice, given that the place is quite secluded. The crispy breaded zander and their grilled catfish were very tasty and their fish borscht was really amazing. The staff are very friendly and helpful-it feels like they're all part of a small friendly community. The rooms are quite basic but they offer everything one may need. The bed and the pillows (memory foam) are really comfortable and so I was able to sleep very well. On the downside, it took a long time for hot water to run (we stayed at Casa Pescarilor). If you need a break, this is the kind of place you may want to go to.
