Very quick service and the food is delicious! The scenery is amazing and there are a couple of activities like fishing or dunking the feet in water which you can profit from. Prices are a bit higher but well worth it!

Great fishing experience for families. We were 3 people. 20 lei for Fishing equipment per person Around 25 lei per kg fish we caught. We caught many and released some and ended with 4 Forelles. 2 lei for cleaning the fish. At the Restaurant they prepared them grilled and we paid 95 lei for all the food and drinks.

Amazing location, close to the mountains. Quick access to Transfagarasan (probably the best road in the workd). Great view, fresh food from the farm and lake. Also, good playground for kids and swimming pool

I highly recommend this place, it's a refresh for the body with the clean mountain air and the beautiful view of the nature and the mountains, plus the food is really good and made from high quality fresh ingredients. The only thing is maybe the prices are a bit to high for the actual amount of people they have. Worth make a visit for sure.

The food was nothing special The waiting time was quite long - almost an hour for 2 soups and 2 schnitzels and on top of this, we were also overcharged...i can't say i recommend this place. The location is nice though.

Albota is a well known place in the area, so I will not review the great service, great weighters and good food. I would like to review the camping, which in my opinion is one of the best in the area, with plenty of clean toilets, heated swimming pool and quiet during the nights. I would return anytime there.

Amazing experience! Staff is friendly and helpful. I had the opportunity to go at the trout farm and rent a 🎣 and immediately I was in action fishing on the river bank.

Albota is one of the places we come to both in winter and summer, ever since it opened. In recent years it has expanded, prices have increased, the number of employees has increased, I think many are seasonal and not enough is invested in their training. I hope it will be fixed and quality services will continue to be offered because it is a beautiful place, in a wonderful area, where you can walk, rest, visit.

This review is for the restaurant: The food (especially the fish) was really good and despite not being the biggest fish lover I really recommend trying some here. The service however was below par as our waiter made multiple mistakes in our order and the service in general quite slow. He also forgot our orders and it took a long time to get the bill (we could see him chat with other waiters despite multiple tables needing service) . Other guests also had trouble with the same waiter

Fantastic fresh fish. The food in the restaurant was delicious. There's lots to do around the place, too - 2 playgrounds for the little ones, you can fish your own fish and enjoy the freen surroundings.

The food was delicious 🤤 service could be a bit improved, in the sense of extras, but I can’t say anything wrong about it. An the kids area was also very appreciated, especially the bunnies and the fishing pond

Nice fishing farm and view. Free parking. Average resturant, slow serving . Very crowdy, suitable for familys and children - there are some play facilities in the yard near the resturant. There are fishing pools with that you can fish. You rent a fishing rod + bucket + live worms for 10 Ron. If you sucsses to fish, then you pay 33 Ron for every 1 kg.

For restaurant: all soups are basically the same with minor variants, the main dishes are ok-ish but in general overrated and quite pricey. I understand from the other comments that we were very lucky with a very ok and fast service on a Sunday at lunch.

If trout is your thing, look no further:) you can also fish your own but you only get it to go. Location is great if you want to stop while descending from the Transfăgărășan, there's even a nice children's area. Did not try the rooms, I was on route to Brașov.

Very nice location with many food options. The fish dishes are delicious (definitely recommend the trout speciality). The prices are very ok for what they offer.
