We visited this place one time in 2019 and the whole experience was really nice (rooms 5+6), so we tried to return in 2020, but the pandemy didn't make it easy. Now, in 2021 we finally managed to return, just to get really disappointed: 1. Although we had all communication & confirmation via e-mail, there was only one room prepared for us, instead of two, as agreed. 2. The second room we got didn't had soap, only some shower gel in the shower + the bathroom had a sewer smell all the weekend. 3. The breakfast buffet was barely enough for the people staying there. 4. The food & coffee quality was really low, yet the prices were higher than in the closest city, Odorheiu Secuiesc. 5. As we were staying there, we were told we had 20% discount to the adventure park. In the last day, after checking-out, we didn't get the discount, as we were not staying there anymore. To conclude, we were really disappointed with this stay as we can only assume that everything went low-cost, in an attempt to save last year's lost income. Unfortunately, practices like these will only lose customers, not attract & keep them. Hopefully this will be taken as a constructive criticism and coercitive measures will be taken.

The cheapest food from the supermarket for a VIP price. Shame for the cook, shame for the restaurant, shame for the resort.

The staff is very helpful and nice. This was our first time here, for beginners 3 hours is not enough to complete all courses. (We complete all but one) But even as beginners, the hard courses can be completed. It was challenging and fun! Would recommend it! Food is also available, if there are not a lot of people, the serving is very fast, the food tastes good.

You should let smaller children on the harder tracks, they can do it easily

Good place to stay, it has a room where you can change and store the ski equipment, they definitely need to improve the quality of the breakfast.

Good place, good sweet cakes and they had hot wine with a small shot of rom. I never tried it before, but the waiter told me to try some, and I did. It was very yummy. I didn't stayed here, so I can not comment about it.

The adventure park is really great. I highly recommend the purple track - the experience and view it's amazing. Although if you don't get along really well with heights, maybe avoid it.<br/>The food is truly delicious - you must try the pizza. <br/>The rooms are ok. The shower is kind of weird, since you can't move it. Also, hot water is sort of a luxury - it's not available all the time.<br/>We were a group of 16 people and they organised different activities for us: team-building games, paintball, hikes, camp fire and a stroll in the adventure park.

Although the adventure park was wonderful, the restaurant service was really awful. I don't know if it was a mistake or not, but I was served the very last, properties were serving other people who were Hungarian. Update: changed to 4 stars because that was a mistake and it was fixed pretty quick.

The road there looks like after a bombardment. The resort doesn't accept cards - unacceptable for year 2019. Also no nearby ATMs. The zipline(tiroliana) is very spectacular over the lake.

I had to organize the company team building retreat. With the help of the beautiful people who own Balu Resort it was a piece of cake. I will definitely return. Thank you for the amazing weekend, love and kisses The Barza team.

A gr8 place for weekend activity even with family. More fun can be achieved going there with a group of friends:) the place has the longest tirolina in Romania. It isnt the cheapest place but it is worth the money.
