Had a good stay at the Hyatt. All of the staff I spoke to were friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and the fitness center was clean and well ventilated. Breakfast was better than I typically expect with fresh fruit, yogurt, oatmeal, plus the standard options. I parked at the garage behind the hotel- it was about $20 for overnight plus part of one day. Within walking distance there’s a Whole Foods for provisions, and it was a quick easy walk to Fells Point and all the shops and restaurants there. My room wasn’t cleaned super well and when I asked the staff for cleaning supplies they offered to have my room cleaned again. I opted just to wipe things down myself, so they supplied cleaning solution and cloths. I’d say the state of my room was my only real complaint. You can see in the pictures that the couch and carpet was stained, and in addition to there being food on the desk there was sticky liquid in the ice container and the toilet seat was not cleaned. More thorough housekeeping would go a long way.

This is a nice hotel in a great location. Unfortunately it’s the type of hotel that constantly makes you rethink if a hotel is “nice enough”. I kept felt like I was lowering basic standards. Broken furniture, stained couch, a/c breaks in the middle of the night, no response to repair requests. I literally had to flip my own circuit switch to restart the air conditioner (this was a life saver). This hotel clearly suffers from maintenance and housekeeping issues but aside from those two core items it’s actually quite nice. It wasn’t till I switched to another Hyatt hotel that I remembered the above is not acceptable (or good enough). The pool is the smallest a pool can possibly be and still say they have a pool. Which isn’t a huge issue but worth noting for the review. I hope this hotel gets a handle on these issues because it could easily fix the hotel and it would be an amazing property.

    1. We arrived at noon to check in but somehow the parking garage was full. Was planning to use Hyatt Globalist free parking on our points redemption but had to pay for parking. 2. Our room had no solid blinds so we had sunlight coming in at 6 AM. 3. The television in our room basically didn’t work (it had intermittent signal on less than half the channels). I’m a big Hyatt fan (will stay 60 nights this year) and like Baltimore a lot but won’t be coming back here again. If you get a good deal it’s still a decent location but just expect to not have the product live up to expectations.

We didn’t have any issues during our stay. The valet made us aware that parking would be $40+ per night, but there was $4 parking in the garage around the corner. As for our room, there weren’t any stains that we noticed, nor were there any critters as mentioned by previous reviews. They also have happy hour at the small bar by the check-in counter until I believe 8pm? They are a bit limited in their selection but they make it work. For example, I ordered a whisky sour that was a bad whisky sour but still a great drink. They also make really good margaritas. If you want to access any floor, you’ll need your keycard to use the elevator. The employees we encountered were all polite. As mentioned by someone else, this is a pet friendly hotel so you may be unlucky and be roomed next to an untrained or nervous dog. This isn’t the hotel’s fault though, the owner should know their dog well enough to board them somewhere if the dog doesn’t travel well. During our stay there was a dog on our level that barked at every sound(doors, walking) but it wasn’t much of an issue for us because of how far we were, however I’d imagine that being next door would be annoying at night. Overall I would come back.

If I could give this hotel 0 stars, I would. I parked my car in their (very expensive) lot for a few days while in town for a legal conference. One evening when I was driving out of the parking lot after a few days of my car being left in the lot that I thought was secure, my catalytic converter fell off my vehicle. Upon close examination, it appeared that someone had tried to (unsuccessfully) steal my catalytic converter. I asked the hotel staff to view the camera footage from the garage for the days my car was there, and they refused. The manager stated he would review the footage himself and “let me know if he saw something” but refused to do anything else to help. He informed me that I would have to file a police report in order to see the videos. I filed a police report by phone, and when the officer asked the manager if they could view the video footage if they stopped by the hotel, the manager refused, citing hotel policy only allowed them to release footage if issued a subpoena. I was so shaken up by the entire situation that I checked out immediately, refusing to stay there another moment. I have no trust in this facility’s ability to keep me or my belongings safe, and I am disgusted by their unwillingness to cooperate with me or the police in this matter. Do not stay here, do not park your car here, do not have any faith that they will be decent human beings.

There was construction happening in front of entrance of the hotel but that didn't create much of a problem at all. Upon reaching the hotel, I was greeted by an individual who showed me to the parking garage, the lobby and assisted with my luggage. The woman at the front desk was very kind when I checked in. The room was clean, neat, spacious, and easy to access. My entire stay there was wonderful. Breakfast was included and everyone was helpful and courteous. There was also a Whole Foods one block away --so beneficial. Thanks to all the great people who made my stay worthwhile; I will definitely stay again when I return to B-more.

The staff make this place an exceptional experience. From valet, to the front desk, to the cleaning staff. EVERYONE treats us so well. We have stayed here multiple times when visiting Johns Hopkins (1 mile away) Main Hospital. The breakfast is one of the best you'll get... it's included in your rate. Lastly, this is place is in a nice part of Baltimore, the Fells Point area. So. Good food options and a safe place to walk along the harbor.

Great staff here. Truly does reply to your guest needs. Housekeeping staff is great. 8th floor is a little dated and musty smelling, but nothing that was insufferable. Room is clean with great view. Guestrooms could definitely need some new furniture and renovations. A/C units need some attention, but our staff fixed it quickly when needed. Pool was clean and warm, with plenty of fresh towels. Breakfast and coffee were tasty. No shortage of food or drinks. We enjoyed having a launderette available on the floor. Valet and security are on the ball. Will probably return.

Broken furniture, stained carpet, pool closes at 8pm, no consistency on breakfast hours. I told this to the receptionist and she just told me "I'm sorry about it" and stood quiet after. I emphasized to her that her apologies doesn't fix the existing problem and she responded by "I was gonna offer you 25% off but since you responded to me like that I won't do anything for you and walked away. I'm definitely NOT staying at this location again and all my coworkers who also booked as well. The week before we stood at Hyatt Georgetown and it was WONDERFUL

The staff were great unfortunately the managers don’t take responsibility for bed bugs. My kids and I got the hotel after two days in DC. When we arrived no issue. Once we got to hotel we did not go any where The first full day in Baltimore hotel. We were exhausted. We all woke with bite marks. More me then the kids. It was my legs, belly, back, and arms. They itch all the next day and very uncomfortable. I was very respectful and kept it on the low and only spoke to one manger so no other visitors would be worried or staff. They moved us to new room and went back into the old room because I forgot something (so I thought) the room was already sprayed and taken care of but they said they didn’t not find no bugs at all in that room. Either way there was something biting us in that room and we should at least be Taken care of for the one night. The one thing that I thought I left in the other room was EarPods that were never found. Like I said we did not go any where for that day. Those went missing somehow. We search both rooms Top to bottom. They were gone.

We enjoyed our stay here. The rooms are nice, we traveled with 2 young kids and booked a room with a single king. It comes with a sectional with a bed that folds out, plus an ottoman. Very cozy! The decor is modern but still cozy. The walls are a little thin, we could hear our neighbors quite a bit and I'm sure they heard our kid crying in the middle of the night. Breakfast was good for a free continental breakfast. The coffee was better than most hotel breakfast coffees. Valet parking was pricey but there is a public parking garage a block away that's quite a bit cheaper, so we parked there. And I love the location -there are so many restaurants and stores within a block or two. We came for the aquarium which is about a 10 or 15 minute walk. Would definitely stay here again next time we come.

Hospitality and service was really nice. Location is ideal for visiting John Hopkins. Overall the hotel was nice and convenient. We had a drink downstairs and complimentary breakfast each morning. One note the studio gym was humid with unsupervised children in it. This was a parenting issue not a hotel issue but I wish there were other ways to supervise who is in there. We will be back again as a future customer. Thank you

Valet was great, room wasn’t as clean as I hoped. Pretty dusty as well. Miscommunication on early check in rates- and double charged the $75 incidental fee + early check in. Hopefully after the holiday it gets sorted out. Front desk has been helpful so far. Kids wanted a hotel with pool which is why I booked there. As other reviews said the pool isn’t clean and does not match listed photos.

Where do I begin? This experience was amazing. When I first came in I was greeted with the best hospitality. The room was very clean, this exceeded my expectations. They are so conveniently near so many restaurants and eateries and right in the heart of the harbor. I would recommend this hotel to anyone that is coming from out of town or someone who just needs a quick getaway with no hesitation. The General Manager Michael was very helpful and took the time out of his busy schedule to accommodate me and my family. I will definitely be back again !

Stayed for two nights and no housekeeping service at all-no tissues refilled, trash overflowing, beds never made, no clean towels. Rooms-would be nice to have a safe for valuables and no bedside drawer. Staff was friendly and helpful especially the guys at the front door and the desk staff. Excellent location.

Location and room was great however I never got my deposit back and had to call multiple times. Took a whole week before the decided to release my funds then three more days to receive it. Which never happened, it’s infuriating they don’t communicate to there customers.

The hotel is close to my waterfront work location. Everything was spotlessly clean. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable and everything worked as expected. Front desk service was excellent. There are several very good restaurants within walking distance. I highly recommend this location for either business or personal travel

I really enjoyed myself there in Baltimore. Nice hotel ,clean rooms . Great staff the only issue I have is that my bag was missing!!! I called the hotel several times and no one has responded. I called valet, left several messages w/ housekeeping and @ front desk. I really just want my bag or keep the damn bag give me the contents that was in bag!! I can't believe someone wants another person's bras & panties, curling iron, earrings (sentimental) nighties jeans and perfume...SMH One good thing CLEVELAND BROWN'S WON!!! Maybe that's why my bag was stolen!! Makes me not even wanna tip again!! I'm so furious!!

Staff really works hard and is responsive. Hotel is clean. Whole foods one block away. I thought the location was ideal-15 min from Stadiums and convention center, 5 min from 83, 10 min from 695 or 95. Not as noisy as if we had stayed at the Hyatt regency. Indoor pool and black out curtains.

My family and I genuinely enjoyed out stay. The entire staff was friendly, welcoming and helpful. Just after one night we were treated like we were there for a month and well known. That truly makes the difference when staying in a new city. We felt incredibly safe and loved that the building locks down for guest entry only during the night. Less than a 10 minute walk to the harbor. Free ferry boat rides to get to the other side of the harbor and explore even more. Knead Bakery across the way has fantastic espresso, lattes, and their pastries are heavenly. Our room and common areas were very clean. Breakfast was great both mornings we were visiting. The cooks kept it well stocked and freshened the hot food regularly just from the hour we'd spend in the dining space. It was nice to have boiled eggs and unprepared fruit to take upstairs. The bar was a nice addition and prices are great, especially for a hotel bar. It'd be nice to add a tip on even when charging to the room. Valet workers are hard workers and remember everyone. Only issues we had were that the fan in the bathroom was not functioning so it was difficult to keep the room cool while everyone showered. The HVAC filters need to be changed out, theh were completely dirty and it triggered allergies. Also, word of caution, the windows are completely transparent from the street. My husband and I were walking across the street toward the Whole Foods Market and saw a couple completely nude and in an act that was absolutely not meant to be a spectator activity. For guest privacy, perhaps put a notice to draw the blinds at night. We will absolutely stay again.

The bathtub was dirty- it was easy to see that it hadn’t been cleaned. The breakfast service was very poor, with unavailability of plates and bowls!! Very limited options for breakfast, the usual basic breakfast items were not available either! Guest laundromat works on coins, but the front desk has no coins! Use the nearby public laundromat- much better and cleaner than this place.

This Hotel has potential, the location is great, but right now they are charging way to much for the offering. Hallways reeks of “marijuana”. One of our nights we didn’t even had AC, customer service is non existent unless is a Manager. And breakfast is a disaster. Not only the quality of food was terrible. They didn’t even had bowls for oatmeal, or cereal so they were giving guest plastic cups. That’s ok for a low price quick hotel but not for what they are charging here. Best of luck!

We stayed here(inner harbor) overnight last weekend and it was okay. The location was perfect and the staff was nice however our floor smelled like weed, even though it’s a smoke free hotel. Our room was nice but we did notice the wall by the couch was scrapped up and the sink in the bathroom had a crack in it. Overall it was okay.

Really close to many good places to dine or shop. Very safe locality. Rooms are neat and nice, there is nice laundry room if you decide to stay longer. The front desk staff are very efficient and courteous. The breakfast is very limited if you are a vegan. There is good parking. Overall I liked the stay..

The hotel is for sure not a luxury hotel but served it’s purpose for the booking. The rooms were clean and the bathroom was clean. I rated a five because the level of hospitality was one exceeding most 5 star luxury hotels. This place down to security allowed everyone to just be and assisting when they could. In this current climate it was perfect. Lobby was filled with conversation, eating, and respecting one another’s space. No loudness no rudeness just chilling. Would I return, yes I would.

I spent weeks looking for hotels to stay at, after finally settling for this one. I read reviews, I looked at pictures, we were excited to stay here. After the stressful 4 hour drive, we were told they overbooked the hotel and they had no rooms for us. What?!? How unprofessional and disappointing. How does this place have such good reviews? Smells like weed. Save your time. Very upset. Trip is off to a poor start thanks to Hyatt Place.

Everyone at the hotel was EXTREMELY kind and nice. Always welcoming us with a smile and fulfilling all requests with the holiday cheer. Room was clean and was overall better than expected. Location was optimal. FIVE STARS!

Hotel is fine. Having to valet your car will cost you $37+ tax which is a bit annoying on top of paying for the hotel, but is typical in a city. If you’re staying on the weekend a lot one street over has a $4 all weekend rate so maybe go for that. The rooms are standard and have seen better days. There was some damage to the walls, carpet and ottoman. The room was clean, but we were only given enough towels for 2 people when we specifically said we were traveling with 2 children as well. Tracking down extra towels became a theme as the tiny indoor pool was out when we went shortly after check in at 3. The pool was much too small for the size of the hotel. People were packed in there. Even after asking the front desk for towel, none appeared even 30 minutes later. Breakfast was not great compared to other Hyatts I’ve stayed at. Seemed very sparse. To end on a positive note, our room was crazy hot at 78 degrees. The thermostat was not working properly to turn on the AC. I called the front desk and within 10 to 15 minutes they sent someone up. He was able to quickly fix the issue by resetting the system. He got the room cooled down quickly and was great!

Everything was clean, VERY comfortable bed, shower was awesome, and the view was beautiful. The location is a perfect walking distance to Fells Point, which has great bars and restaurants. What really made it was the staff - EVERYONE from the parking garage host to the front desk, night staff, and housekeeping were all so friendly and helpful. Truly sweet and loving, they really made you feel at home.

Located right by Fells Points/ Little Italy, Hyatt Place Baltimore more has many great restaurants, bars, cool shops near by. Orange Theory in 2 blocks, so I was able to get my workouts in couple times in addition to the hotel gym. Whole Foods is 3 min walk. Awesome service as well. I’m booked 2 rooms and Michael accommodated our needs with a big smile checking us in early. Raymond was so funny and made us feel welcomed from the get go, taking care of our cars. Highly recommend this hotel if you want to stay in a safe area and have some fun in Baltimore!

Loved the location near the harbor. Right in Little Italy so walking to restaurants was nice. Walk to the harbor was about 5 to 10 min again everything close. Room had no microwave so that was the only issue. Had to ask for blankets and extra towel sets but housekeeping very accommodating. Beds very comfortable. We were on fifth floor - great view of city. Breakfast was nice but very busy...ran out and had to wait for staff to bring in more. Loved the games in the lobby area for families to play. Didn't use the pool; it was small but looked like it was being cleaned. We stayed a few days after Thanksgiving so visited some of the Christmas things, museums, Fort McHenry, restaurants, etc.. Found a garage for parking that was much less expensive than the hotels. Was a block away, nice little walk but saved us quite a bit of money. Would stay again. Staff very nice and helpful!! Clean and safe and has valet parking service as well.

Came here for vacation and stayed 4 nights. Interacted with staff at all times of the day and week. Every one of them was friendly and kind. The price was fantastic and the breakfast was great. They do a nice job of adding in extras that really made a difference. They had a hot cocoa station out for the kids one day and a cookie and coloring station the next. It’s not too far a walk from the aquarium or other really neat things. The neighborhood is so cute and very clean. We used the valet and it was fast and efficient. Would highly recommend staying here.

MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE HOTEL IN THE WHOLE WORLD. I’m a current Active Duty Army Soldier, & honestly the hospitality, comfort, and service this hotel offers never disappoints. The staff is all like family, they never give bad attitude! Always super attentive, and always willing to solve any problems or questions customers have to offer. The Views, the gyms, the sun room, the breakfast, the beds, & the staff are all amazing 1 of 1 top tier features this hotel offers! This hotel is definitely one of baltimore’s best hotels in the city. If i could I would live here for the rest of my life.

One word: Charles Charles, the valet attendant, immediately stole our hearts, before we even got out of our car. He was polite, helpful, and had the best sense of humor. He always took time to chat with us whenever he saw us over the weekend. The front desk and bar staff were also great. Very friendly and polite. The rooms were comfortable, decor is a little outdated but the shower was magnificent. Perfect water pressure and stream. The breakfast was okay; it had better options than a typical continental breakfast. Location is a little iffy, but the hotel has 24/7 staff/security in the lobby area.
