Location, location, location. Didn't know anything about this place and picked it because of its proximity to all the things we wanted to see and eat this weekend. Turns out it's a charming old (office? bank?) building that's been converted to a hotel. Lots of the old office building accoutrements still remain: mail slots in the doors of some of the rooms, cool elevators, central mail chute down to the lobby, etc. Our room was big with extremely high ceilings and a very close up view of the brick wall next door. Ah, well. I'm sure other rooms have better sights to see. The complimentary breakfast was decent and all staff members were very helpful and friendly. With a full kitchen in the room this'd also be a great place for an extended stay. Recommended.

We stayed here May 22, 2023. I have to say we were VERY pleased with our stay here! From before check in to well before checkout, the staff here went above and beyond to make everything pleasant. The Hotel was spotless. The staff were very knowledgeable and courteous. My granddaughter loved breakfast! Our room was clean and very comfortable. We needed extra bedding and I don’t think I waited 10 minutes. We will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in the Inner Harbor. We also felt safe in the neighborhood. Can’t wait to go back!

Pretty good! The layout of our King/pullout room was railroaded, so kids had to walk through our room to go to the bathroom in the night, but it was great for a blended family w 2 teens to have a space that divided into two rooms. Staff were accommodating and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was very good and the location was great for walking to the aquarium. The historical building is charming, though expect to hear city noise overnight per other reviews. Thanks for the solid stay!

Great Hotel in the heart of Inner Harbor, Baltimore, MD. Able to walk to everything-great for families visiting places like Port Discovery children's museum, Aquarium, Ships, and Science Museum! They offer an amazing breakfast every morning (eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles, cereal, etc). They offer heavy appetizers every evening such as Spaghetti with sauce, fajitas, meatballs, popcorn, etc from 5:30-7(goes over 7pm if busy). Saves on meals! Spacious rooms, 2 queenbeds with couch, apt size refrigerator with freezer and ice maker, comfy beds, kitchenette stocked with dishes, silverware. Extremely nice staff, and very clean. Will definitely be returning back the next time we visit as they continue to completely revitalize the harbor back to its old self!

This hotel was fine, not great. First, I had to update my reservation dates due to family illness. While I was able to make the change (because I accepted a higher nightly rate), it took me 4 calls and hours on hold. Various customer service reps disconnected me 3 times. Pray you don't have to call customer service. Once we got there, the valet parking was convenient. Hotel personnel were not overly warm and inviting, but not rude. The hotel is in a restored building, which was really unique, but the website did not disclose that the building shares the block (on the side of the building NOT photographed) with several night clubs and adult shops/establishments. So, don't be surprised to see a different kind of crowd on the other side of the block or extremely loud motorcycle traffic at 3 am when they all leave.

This hotel is one of the best I’ve stayed in Baltimore. The building has a sense of history and feels like a hotel from the 20s and 30s in New York City. The rooms are spacious and felt like a 5 star hotel in a big city. It’s really nice to stay in a hotel like this once in a while after all the modern hotels.

If you're going to the inner harbor this is a perfect spot. Everything in walking distance. The hotel is just awesome. They did such a fantastic job at retaining the historic ambiance of the original structure. Staff as super courteous and room was well presented and very clean. Pet friendly! My wife and I were traveling with the furry child

I really like the beds. The staff is friendly, and they attended to my maintenance request right away. Breakfast is pretty good: enough options for most diets (at least vegan and sugar free). Everything is clean and tidy. My room was right next to the kitchen, so I got woken up to sounds of kitchen prep, but besides that, there's just a little noise from the street. It's fairly muted by the windows.

Building with character close to the harbour area. Interesting small reminders of the original building including the old elevators. Very clean (kudos to the cleaning staff)! Very friendly service especially during breakfast and social nights. The beds and pillows are so comfortable! Love that they are more environmentally friendly than other hotels with real plates, cups and cutlery during meals, as well as soap/shampoo dispensers in the bathroom instead of single use ones. Fairly complete kitchen with utensils, hob, microwave and full fridge present so you can cook for yourself if you want. Unfortunately, as it’s an old building, soundproofing can be quite terrible. I can hear the banging of doors outside. Also, the appliances in my room (might be the fridge), rattle around quite loudly every so often so this may be concerning for light sleepers. Still, a great hotel and good base as it’s near the harbour and a short walk to the convention centre.

One of the most beautiful hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Rooms have a kitchenette and are extremely spacious. We easily fit two pack n plays in a double Queen room. It was very clean. My toddler crawled around and couldn’t find one thing on the ground! It is an easy couple of blocks to walk to the inner harbor. 6:30am breakfast- something for everyone to enjoy. Coffee is served all day with popcorn in the afternoon.

We use to live in the Inner Harbor and I forgot we stayed at this hotel before we moved in. It is a nice hotel with historical characteristics preserved (old Chamber of Commerce building) that even I can appreciate. However, do.not.stay.here on Friday or Saturday nights. You'll see AND hear the Baltimore craziness in an adjacent (same?) building until the wee hours at night. Sketchy establishments just on the other side. Anyhow, we did a day stay and were able to take in the Farmer's Market a few blocks away like old times and then came back to the hotel and catch-up on sleep and rest. Coffee was good. Staff were nice and accommodating (we were able to check-in early) and the rooms were spacious and clean, as I remembered previously. If only this hotel was a block West or North, I could bump up several ratings.

Not good. The room was dark, but spacious. Late check out was not honored as requested. The front staff had the nerves to tell me that the hotel was booked and I couldn’t have a late checkout. By the way I was allowed to bring my dog with me, had no sitter. My reason for selecting this hotel is because it was pet friendly. The purpose of the trip was to attend my Aunt’s funeral. I missed the burial.

Great staff. Walking distance to the harbor. Super spacious room (407) nice little kitchenette. Parking is expensive (35 dollars a night) , we didn't ask if we could park ourselves if it would be cheaper. But at least we knew our car was safe. There was a little snack deal Monday through Wednesday night. What we had was good, but it really wasn't a full meal or anything.

Clean, convenient and lovely room. Very quiet. Nice staff. Great location to Inner Harbor and Convention center. We had a small kitchen in our room which was great for the occasions we brought back a takeout dinner and had dishes and silverware to use. Shower and toilet separate from sink area so no one held up getting ready. We had read about and noticed the street on one side of hotel that looks "sketchy" but as others said, it wasn't noisy and easy to avoid. Felt comfortable walking to Inner Harbor areas and Convention center during daylight. Hotel breakfast was good -- basics such as yogurt, granola and cereal, oatmeal, waffles, toast, eggs and a breakfast meat or starch, fresh fruit, juice, coffee -- all very clean and nicely presented in a comfortable and pretty breakfast room. Highly recommend.

Great location. Close to the harbor. And the hotel rooms are large, clean, and really nice. The kitchen is very useful with a full sized refrigerator. The super high ceilings and overall architecture are really nice. Love the massive windows. The free breakfast is a nice addition as well. This is my go to spot when staying in Baltimore.

A decent Staybridge. One oddity about the 2 queen bed suite - it had the typical small kitchen but no small table to eat at. My room was reasonably quiet, but a bit noisy in the early evening and early morning from infrequent dumpster banging and the like. Just once or twice, but the Commerce St-side rooms might avoid that. Mine was on the opposite side and across from a parking garage. A decent stay, but I give it four stars since I've seen better. A last note - the ceiling in my room at least was literally 20 feet high. Interesting, but it made the room a bit cool (I stayed in October) even with the heat set at 78. Positives - two blocks from Inner Harbor but in a quiet area, and great service.

We stayed in a king studio. Very spacious room. Bed were very comfortable. Pillows were comfortable. Service was very good, the young lady that checked us in was very attentive and answered all my concerns. The breakfast had a really nice selection of hot food with fruit and yogurt on the cold side. Rooms have a kitchenette with utensils and a frying pan, a pot, and a sauce pot(no lids). All in all for the money I don't think this place can be beat as it's a short walk to the harbor 0.2 miles away. Valet parking is on par with places I been to and the fact that max parking near the harbor is 28 dollars the valet seems more than reasonable. Keep in mind that the valet hours are 6a to 12 midnight. Would definitely stay here again!

Our son stayed at Staybridge Suites in Baltimore for 2 months and was extremely satisfied with his time there. It is clean, neat, organized, the staff is friendly, professional and very courteous and accommodating! Our interactions with all front desk employees was above and beyond our expectations taking special care of all our requests efficiently and immediately! In particular Latisha was outstanding and provided impeccable customer service! The manager Chad Solomon is outstanding! Highly recommend staying at this Staybridge Suites!!

This was our second time staying here. A family member had surgery at John’s Hopkins, so this was a convenient location with a suite and kitchen. The hotel staff are personable, attentive and very accommodating. The valet was an important aspect for us. They were timely and always remembered us. The only downside is the parking garage on the side street where homeless and others congregate. Loud arguments and music well into the early morning hours. The next block has multiple gentleman’s clubs. Noticed more trash on the streets on Saturday morning.

The staff is very friendly and the location is convenient to get to all the Baltimore attractions. Antonio works very hard in the breakfast area to keep everything well stocked in the buffet area. Our bed was comfy and the kitchen area was nice. I wish the room was a bit bigger to have a chair or couch to sit on, but we made ourselves comfortable in the common areas around the building instead. Would recommend and stay again!

We had a really great experience at this hotel! The location is great as it is right near everything at the Inner Harbor and very close for walking to everything in that area. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and clean! The hotel felt historic and modern at the same time. We had a nice view from our windows too! The mattresses were surprisingly comfortable and we had a nice sleep. The bathroom is small, and we wished the layout had been a little more convenient, but for a one night stay, it was sufficient. We used valet parking and it was very helpful as the area is not the greatest for parking otherwise. The complimentary breakfast had many options and was a pretty typical hotel breakfast, but sufficient.
