Poorly
run
and,
according
to
my
Lyft
driver,
in
an
area
one
needs
to
be
"very,
very
careful".
I
was
sent
an
electronic
form
by
the
hotel
to
input
my
billing
information
to
secure
my
reservation
for
a
night
I
wouldn't
be
sleeping
at
the
hotel
(I
would
arrive
early
in
the
morning
and
wanted
a
room
as
soon
as
I
arrived
-
paying
for
a
night
I
wouldn't
be
sleeping
there
was
no
problem).
Apparently,
they
need
a
physical
credit
card
to
secure
a
room
for
late
arrival.
How
do
they
manage
to
ever
book
rooms
without
a
hotel
booking
site?
It's
bizarre,
really.
I
had
no
room
and
no
reservation,
despite
my
showing
them
the
email
and
completed
form
confirming
they
had
my
card
information
(last
four
of
the
card
was
clearly
visible).
The
woman
at
the
front
desk
was
ready
for
a
fight,
obviously,
as
the
customer
service
was
more
than
lacking
-
she
was
verbally
aggressive
and
rude,
not
in
the
least
bit
apologetic
about
their
confusion
-
it
was
their
employee,
their
form,
not
a
booking
site,
so
no
excuses.
I
was
polite
and
relieved
to
not
be
staying
there.
While
I
was
in
their
lobby
booking
my
stay
in
another
hotel,
a
woman
came
down
asking
about
getting
a
different
hair
dryer
as
the
one
in
her
room
wasn't
working.
There
were
no
extra
hair
driers.
The
front
desk
person
simply
shrugged.
At
any
rate,
it
was
a
blessing
in
disguise.
I
was
happy
to
leave
and
able
to
book
a
room
at
a
nicer
hotel
closer
to
where
I
wanted
to
be
in
a
safer
neighborhood.
I
was
even
allowed
to
check
in
immediately
for
a
very
small
fee
and
the
staff
was
very
professional
and
kind.
