My husband and I stayed overnight from June 9 to June 10. We were excited until we got to the room. The room was small, the lighting was very poor. We were going to a wedding that evening and it was nearly impossible to see well enough to put makeup on. This horrible lighting was in the room as well as the bathroom. The toilet was not affixed to the floor, you could rock it back and forth with your hands. The drain in the shower was in a permanently closed position so we had to take the stopper out to even shower. The closet is in in the bathroom behind the door which made access extremely difficult. The view was only the wall of the building next door. The best part is the bait and switch you guys pull with the valet parking. When we checked out, we scanned the QR code for our vehicle to be brought to us by the valet. There was one person working so it took extra long to get our vehicle. When I asked the front desk if we could just get our keys and get our vehicle ourselves since we were from out of town and we were on a time crunch to get to our next destination. I was informed that my card was charged $46 for valet parking. No one authorized them to charge that to the room first of all, and secondly that is something that should be made ENTIRELY clear up front. If we had known, it was going to cost $46 for someone to bring our car around we would have found our own parking. This hotel is an extremely overpriced waste of money. We would never ever recommend this hotel to anyone. In fact, we have already told several friends and family members about this ridiculous experience. We feel completely scammed into paying $46 for parking and not even being told. What if we wanted to use a different card or pay cash?? We were not given that option and I was only informed of the valet parking fee when I went to the front desk after waiting for the valet for an unusually long time I was then told we were charged. This place is awful and you should be ashamed of yourselves for duping guests into paying for valet parking.

Poorly run and, according to my Lyft driver, in an area one needs to be "very, very careful". I was sent an electronic form by the hotel to input my billing information to secure my reservation for a night I wouldn't be sleeping at the hotel (I would arrive early in the morning and wanted a room as soon as I arrived - paying for a night I wouldn't be sleeping there was no problem). Apparently, they need a physical credit card to secure a room for late arrival. How do they manage to ever book rooms without a hotel booking site? It's bizarre, really. I had no room and no reservation, despite my showing them the email and completed form confirming they had my card information (last four of the card was clearly visible). The woman at the front desk was ready for a fight, obviously, as the customer service was more than lacking - she was verbally aggressive and rude, not in the least bit apologetic about their confusion - it was their employee, their form, not a booking site, so no excuses. I was polite and relieved to not be staying there. While I was in their lobby booking my stay in another hotel, a woman came down asking about getting a different hair dryer as the one in her room wasn't working. There were no extra hair driers. The front desk person simply shrugged. At any rate, it was a blessing in disguise. I was happy to leave and able to book a room at a nicer hotel closer to where I wanted to be in a safer neighborhood. I was even allowed to check in immediately for a very small fee and the staff was very professional and kind.

I have lived in the same neighborhood as Hotel Revival for many years, and I am so glad they're motivated and actively working to be integrated with the rich history and charismatic, beautiful Baltimore community it is nested within. Their rooftop bar and restaurant is incredible, and I've enjoyed many events in their event spaces. From the ground (or I should say the LL) floor all the way up, the beautiful boutique interior of all rooms is inviting, uplifting, and clearly well-cared for by the staff. The hospitality I experience every time I visit is fantastic! Luckily for me, a friend was staying in town for a business trip and I got to visit the rooms above. They're just as beautiful as everything else! Very cozy, and it helped us BOTH feel right at home despite one of us being far from it and mine being several streets over. Would definitely recommend a stay for anyone curious!

Beautiful, clean rooms. Very accommodating service - we needed help with a few things and the service desk was prompt and helpful. A review said the neighborhood wasn't safe, but I never questioned my safety even for a moment. I would stay again in a heartbeat!

OVERALL: A quaint space in Baltimore! We loved every moment of our time at this sweet hotel. My husband actually surprised me with our stay, and it was perfect. The room was beautiful! I loved the historic detail with the clean neutral colors + the slight eclectic vibe. The hotel had so many little spots to explore, from reading books to a hotel bar. As well, the staff was lovely. We especially loved the gentleman working valet: he was a treasure! In addition, everything we ate was delicious. There were also quite a few cute spots within walking distance. If you are in Baltimore, this is the perfect stay!

We were looking forward to having a staycation at this nice-looking hotel, but our plan was immediately ruined after checking in. Even though I made sure about the room we reserved (King Studio) by calling a few days prior to arrival, we were brought to a regular King room without any explanation about the change at the front desk. When I contacted the front, we were told the room we reserved was sold out. The strange thing was that the spacious rooms were available according to their website on that day and the next day. But they insisted the rooms were sold out and they offered a refund for the difference. Of course, it was good we got some money back, but we rather paid more to stay in the spacious room. After coming back home, I received the receipt and noticed that breakfast was charged even if we paid for the Bed and Breakfast plan. No response to my email for a few days, I finally called the hotel and was told it was fixed. When I saw the revised receipt, there was still another mistake. No response to my email again, I called them but my request was denied even after they talked to a manager. I requested to transfer the call to a manager, but his message box was full. I asked for his email address and sent him an email and left my name and phone number. No emails or phone calls have come back from a manager. I knew this hotel became out of the Hyatt group in May and I assumed that affected their management, but this kind of management was not expected from the level of the hotel they claimed. I gave them an extra star because the facility itself and the working staff (valet parking, breakfast restaurant, etc.) were nice (except for one receptionist), but I won't be surprised if their rating will be going downhill in the near future based on my experience with the bad management.

My bf and I came to town for the reggae festival and we’re very pleased with our stay at the revival. The decor and atmosphere were on point and very homey/comfortable. We ate at the rooftop restaurant which was phenomenal, had some coffee at the cafe, and were blown away by the speakeasy. The room was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom had a privacy space with the toilet and shower which is always a perk. We loved the valet service (thanks Walter!). The security was also a comfort (room key to enter after hours and to go to certain levels of the hotel). We will be returning and highly recommend.

Stayed here for 1 night on a biz trip and thought the property was nice. It had some quirkiness to it, but overall a really nice solid property. I liked the motif of the lobby and my room was nicely done too. It was a Junior Suite. I would recommend coming here, as I would stay again.

What an absolute treat to have my little sister's wedding at Hotel Revival this past weekend. We could not have asked for better hosts. It all is in one place here, from the 1st to Rooftop floor (minus floor 13 😂🎃 ). Cheers to Lorenzo, Curt (with a C), and JR at the front desk at all hours, phone or walk up. The cleaning and maintenance staff was swift, thorough, and accommodating. Apologies I could not leave a tip in the room, but you were fabulous!

This hotel was one of the best I have visited. From the easy valet parking to the gorgeous and stylish interior, to the small touches in the room (and amazing local coffee and hot water set-up in the room), to the city view and cozy vibe, it really is a gem. Hotel staff were welcoming, friendly, and accommodating. Great spot!

Overall: Nice hotel. Great lobby and design. Hotel was fully booked; we were on the 12th floor but it was really quiet with a great view. Cool book in the room gives recipes and design information on the hotel chain properties. Concerns: only one elevator was working, extremely lengthy wait. Service elevator was broken as well, forcing the staff to also use the guest elevator. Shower in the room doesn't have a door and water ends up everywhere. Restaurants: rooftop view was amazing, food was great but service had problems. Server forgot to order our appetizers but the manager gave us free dessert. Breakfast restaurant was average with limited options. Speakeasy bar (you have to open the secret door by putting a coin in the jukebox!!) had a really cool vibe and the drinks were great.

Beyond the truly fabulous decor, this Hyatt has been a disappointing experience. I have a mold allergy, and as soon as we walked into our room, I had a respiratory allergic reaction. This has happened all my life upon encountering mold when traveling, but this is the first time it has happened in a hotel. I took allergy medication, propped open the door, stepped into the hallway (no mold there) and called the front desk. I asked if it was possible to try another room or to bring in an air filter. The staff member politely explained that this was an uncommon complaint, which I very much understand, and that he didn't have air filters or additional rooms or any solutions to offer. He then said he would talk with the engineer and get back to me, which has not happened, 4.5 hours later. I feel for him, as I think he has had a rough day; one of the two elevators is out of service. After we checked in at 5:20pm, we waited 25 minutes in line for a single, small, slow elevator. When it was our turn, and the elevator finally arrived, a bellman standing behind us in line with whom we'd been chatting jovially, cut in front of us with a large dolly full of luggage, preventing our entry. We were surprised, but fine, and we waited another 10 minutes for the elevator to return. Making the best of the situation, we struck up a conversation with a guest behind us in line who was now late to the wedding that she was attending in the hotel because she did not expect to wait so long for an elevator. In addition to unresolved problems with mold, communication, and functionality, we've discovered that the rooms aren't soundproof whatsoever. First time in Baltimore–love it! This is our last time in this hotel, and probably in any Hyatt ever again.

I loved staying here! It's such a unique space that I plan on staying here every time I'm in Baltimore. From the speakeasy, to the rooftop, to the karaoke rooms. You definitely get your money's worth and access to more than you would at a boring chain hotel. The fitness center was great as well. My only complaint is that the fitness center wasn't stocked with water. Also, I was excited that the fitness center had a Peloton. The bike hasn't been activated, so I wasn't able to sign in to my account (I didn't want to risk unregistering my bike at home. Please look into that. I loved my room and especially the view. The staff was super friendly. Definitely made the business trip more enjoyable.

The service was amazing. The staff was so nice and helpful and very attentive. The room was clean and spacious. Only suggestion would be to have filtered water in the rooms, other then that it was an amazing experience! Location was perfect for what we came for! We were a half mile from the venue and just a mile from the harbor!

For our wedding we had our room block at the Revival because it was within walking distance of our venue, the George Peabody Library. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. The front desk staff was incredibly kind and polite, thoughtful and helpful. Josh Whaley was our coordinator that I worked with leading up to the wedding weekend and was onsite to help assist on the day of our reservations. He was so responsive and answered every single question I had along the way. He had multiple room blocks and large events, but Josh's attention to detail was unmatched. The rooms are beautiful and so eclectic. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are very very clean! The bathrooms were so nice and the views from the windows were INSANE! Every single box was checked during our stay. I cannot wait to go back in years to come to relive our wedding weekend. Thank you so much to entire Revival staff for making the hotel room booking process so easy and painless. Massive thank you to the valet service as well. They helped us load in and load out all of our items. If I could give this whole experience a 6 out of 5 stars I would!

Lovely hotel with excellent service, clean and comfortable rooms, great restaurant with fabulous views, in a perfect location for walking, dining, and photographing the beautiful historic architecture of this city. I was greeted by one of the managers, Ryan, who went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and ensure I had everything I desired. I also love that this is a woman-owned, POC-owned business, where the owner obviously has passion for what she does. And the bar is excellent—great ambiance, creative cocktails. The Corner King room is Amazing. Nothing drab or ordinary about this place. Will definitely return!

This was an amazing experience. The hotel staff was attentive and polite. The rooms are clean with great views. Truly relaxing. My daughter goes to school nearby, and this will be where the family will stay when we visit.

Such a beautiful and fun hotel, walking distance to the Art Gallery, inner harbor, and lots of great restaurants. We loved the secret speakeasy and the rooftop restaurant as well as the comfy lounge areas in this hotel. The service was excellent, and I'd highly recommend it to anyone wanting to stay downtown Baltimore.

My partner and I booked a room block at Revival for our wedding and everything was perfect! The rooms are gorgeous and as a wedding photographer myself, it was important to me that our getting ready space had character and would photograph well. There was another wedding happening at the hotel the same weekend and even though it was so busy, all of the staff were very nice and never made us feel any less important even though our wedding wasn't actually taking place there (we were just using it as home base for a few days). I'll definitely be recommending Revival to all my couples getting married in Baltimore!

We used Hotel Revival as one of two wedding blocks for our Fall 2022 wedding at the Engineers Club across the street. We were able to choose the levels of rooms, which were fairly priced and stunning! They kindly handed out welcome boxes to all of our guests, and they treated us to a complimentary bottle of champagne in the room! Everyone loved the speakeasy and breakfast cafe, and thought the vibe of the hotel was fantastic.

We reserved a block of rooms for our guests at Revival for our wedding which was right across the street. Revival was excellent! All the staff were friendly and accommodating to our guests. The rooms were clean, spacious and beautifully decorated - a lot of our guests were able to check in early which was clutch. Emily was also incredibly helpful in planning everything and always super responsive leading up to the big weekend. We'd highly recommend Revival for your wedding block needs (or for any occasion!!).

Great location and super kitschy and trendy! We loved the unique design of the hotel and the rooms. The only complaints we have is that the HVAC was a little noisy and the bed/pillows were not very comfortable. The staff were all so friendly and welcoming. The cafe on the ground floor had delicious food and beverages. We would visit again, even though the bed wasn't quite to our comfort.

Wonderful hotel from the quality of the rooms to the service given. Come to Baltimore frequently and really can’t find any reason to stay anywhere else. Had Mark (I think) at the front desk on our most recent trip but have had Jason before, both couldn’t have been nicer and more helpful. Topside is a great bar with awesome food and a beautiful view that compliments the service given. Rooms are always clean and interestingly decorated. Beds are the most comfortable that my girlfriend and I have ever had at a hotel.

If you are flying in and don’t have to park hats off to you. I’m not a fan of the parking situation and the fact that self park was full on a Tuesday. Valet parking only goes to 10 pm (so I was told) so you can forget a night out which would end at 12 am anyway because everything closes then. The area is not great so keep the walking during the day and drive at night. The topside restaurant isn’t bad but I feel like there’s not much of a selection. Room service is apparently closed on Monday and Tuesday which is just weird. There is no vending or snacks to purchase in the lobby. Called the front desk and the guy told us to go 7 eleven. I want to like this place because it is a such a nice hotel but it’s not really worth it. If you plan to stay here bring your own snacks and if you feel like walking a few blocks there’s better parking. It’s my anniversary so we’re really bummed this staycation feels like waste.

Very unique and nicely designed hotel. Top notch decor. Comfy bed. Staying here is about 10x better than staying in a depersonalized corporate hotel at inner harbor. I am hopeful to be able to return soon and will plan to try the restaurant next time.

Very nice hotel. The room was spacious. Although I got a nice upgrade, I was in lower floor so I did not get much of the view. But the room was very nicely decorated and comfortable bed. Only my disappointment was the service. I put add on order of bottle of rose before my arrival but it was ignored by the front desk until I voiced its absence. Hope they will do better next time I stay here as a globalist. But overall nice stay.

Every staff member was friendly and helpful. Very welcoming feeling . They love dogs at this hotel! The location was nice. Lots of space to walk the dog. Speakeasy was a nice find. Drinks are great. Dinner at Topside was great. The view is outstanding. Again the staff were all wonderful.

First of all the rooms, the service, the location, everything was 5 out of 5 and should be 10 out of 10 stars. Devon the bellman greeted us, he was phenomenal. Then there was Kelly, I believe the housekeeping supervisor or Director, she was so good with our animals we have 2 dogs she was a godsend. The front desk staff was a joy, they met all of our needs and all of our questions without any hesitation whatsoever. This is a fantastic boutique hotel, if you're gonna be in Baltimore you need to stay here the food, the coffee, the beds, the atmosphere, the music, unbelievably just perfect. And I haven't even mentioned how exquisite the lobby smelled the entire lobby! The upper portion, the lower portion all the way to the elevators! I don't know what sort of scent that they're piping in through the air events, but good grief I need that for my house. If the question is will I stay at a revival hotel again, absolutely yes unequivocally yes!!!

We were only here for one night but it was amazing. Rooms are beautiful, staff is so friendly and accommodating. I could not recommend this place more. The speakeasy was awesome. Great cocktails and unbelievable service. If I could give Revival 10 stars I would. Also, the decor and ambiance throughout the whole hotel was really, really nice.

This hotel was probably the best hotel stay I have had in recent memory. You can clearly tell that whoever redesigned this hotel put extensive thought into every single detail from the lobby to the restaurant, bar, and the beautiful rooms. The rooms here are absolutely massive, and I was surprised to find pour over coffee I the hotel room and some really nice teas. The bathroom was also huge, and the toiletries were great. Everything was clean, and the room was pretty quiet at night. I loved all the details in the room including the carpet, bedding, lighting, furniture -- everything. Even the restaurant space and the speakeasy had so many intricate details. I 100% plan on staying here again if we find ourselves back in Baltimore.
