Meal was served hot and tasty with lot's of vegetables and Angel Hair pasta. The bread was fresh and sprinkled with herbs. The best Italian meal I've had in a long time. Due to Covid we weren't able to dine out, I'll definitely return again!

Had a large pepperoni, sausage, and garlic pizza. The bread here is some of the best. Great food, our server was hustling and outstanding.

Pretty solid all around Italian food. They're doing carryout only right now, and seemed a little overwhelmed but still polite and helpful. The tomato basil sauce is really basil-heavy, so if you're into that then great! The Cesar is delicious, the carbonara is pretty bland, the sides of bread are AMAZING like really tasty pizza crust. Fried calamari is delish and the fried mozzarella is tasty but a little too tomato-saucy

Worst meal in a while. I can handle an outdated, dingy decor and scary restroom as long as the food is good but.....my husband and I both feel violated by the little we ate. How in the sweet grace of God has this place been thriving for so long? The place was packed, it made no sense. The only thing I can think, the neighborhood clientele just doesnt have a higher standard of quality, maybe they just dont know there is better than this. The hostesses, server and busser were wonderful, so no issues with customer service. I was worried when, for the first time ever, I couldnt finish my salad because the dressing was so terrible, I knew this would only go downhill and it did. I ordered a side of meatballs and the manicotti. Both were slightly above room temp and I couldnt get through two bites of each, it was sooo bad. My husband ordered chicken parm. His was hot but he wouldnt even let me have a bite because it was that bad. This review is not for everyone but if you love food and have a pallette, steer clear.

Family friendly place. The food is great and cooked to order. The restaurant feels like I may witness a mob hit at any moment, with how I imagine an Italian restaurant should feel. Dimmer lighting in an intimate environment.

First time here because of my sister's birthday party. Small place, but a lot of people. Good thing that we has reservation so we don't have to wait. Food is awesome especially their desserts. Services are great too! Had a great night!!

My husband and I just tried to dine in at Di Pilla's and I can understand they are busy but they are seriously lacking in customer service! We waited patiently for 20 minutes to be seated and were taken to the table by a hostess. I don't believe she even told the waitress we were seated and waiting to be helped. Another table seated after us with a much larger party was greeted and helped before us. At that point we decided to get up and walk out. It's a shame because I know their food is decent and that's why we were going to spend our money here. Not anymore! Employees need better training especially uner the pressure of busyness.

Nice inconspicuous location for good Italian food! Nothing to contain at all about. Great staff, easy parking as well.

I did not enjoy my cannelloni one bit. The beef was gray and slimy, not cheesy. Also, the beef had a foul taste and smell. It seemed really old and it was unappetizing.

Casual, intimate or social dining. Saw this place was freeway close, good reviews for food and service, and affordable. This place exceeded my expectations. The food was Great. The staff is Top Notch. And I can't wait to get back there. I forgot to take a pic of Pesto bowtie pasta, garlicky deliciousness, and the Seafood Ravioli, fresh fish and the tomatoe cream sauce was a Home Run. A must try for anyone near Rosemead.

Best Italian food in L.A. area. Low-key, family-run, great place. Quirky hours since the pandemic. Worth figuring it out. The Pizza Bread is great. Rigatoni Bolgnese is my favorite dish, but everything is great.

Claudia is so nice. Me and my wife had many dates here 20 years ago. Glad to see they’re still in business.

Have been eating at this gem for over 50 years. Had dinner tonight, Sunday, June 11. And even though the restaurant was filled with customers, food and service were excellent. Best Italian food. Don't miss out on the cannoli and spumoni ice cream. Everything was delish. Thank you Claudia

Great food, big portions that you can easily make another meal out of. I ordered sausage, onion, bell peppers with tomato sauce(homemade sauce over fettuccine noodles w/homemade bread). Tried veggie lasagna, eggplant Parmigiano 🍆(they were very tasty too.)

Ordered through Door Dash, and very impressed with the quality of the food and generous portion size for a very reasonable price. Tried eggplant parm and chicken parm, both wonderful and plenty for leftovers. I'll definitely order again and try other menu items.

Service is great but food is regular. Maybe if it was chepaer, then the food taste will be understandable. Don't get me wrong, it is not expensive. It's just that the rates are just a little expensive for the ambiance and food quality. The place is old and musty, though it adds character to the restaurant. It can use some updating overall. If you want comfort italian food, this may be it-- it's the service you wil go here for.

On previous trips, we were seated outside and amazing for the summertime. This fall trip was indoor accommodation and better. It was closer, quieter and a better lunch. Santos (Chef from Spain) creates magic with great dishes. The standout winners were the truffle carpaccio and the pappardelle with wild boar. The wine list is amazing.

I have been here before because i had an amazing experience early byt was disappointed this time. The place seemed to be extremely short staffed. The host was running around trying to attend guests, take out orders, phone calls and clean the tables all at the same time. The soup served wasn't not warm enough. It wasn't warm even to melt a crumb of parmesan cheese. The food tasted amazing, the bread they serve is great, but you won't get the butter or straw or cheese without asking for it a few times. I hope it was a day with short-staffing and that the service and the food quality continue to be good for this place. I hope to have a different experience the next time.
