A wonderful place to visit. It's 30 minutes drive from Rotorua city center. If you want to see the Lady Geyser, it can be a bit confuse. You need to buy the ticket in the counter or take the ticket even if you have made the booking on line. Then you need to drive up to the geyser. After that drive back to the car park and entrance to the park.

Come to see the wonders of a volcanic region. New Zealand is on the ring of fire and it shows in this park. Get out and enjoy. There are several stopping points. Do them all. The visitor center will collect the entrance fees.

Awesome is an understatement! Worth the drive from Auckland and worth every penny. A unique experience of various geothermal activities up close. Recommended any day!!

It was one of the best insane experience till date. Looking at those hot mud bubbles, coming from the earth and the steam as well, because it's so hot it may burn you. The temperature varies from 60-100c here in the pool.

Always worth the stop here. Just off the loop for thermal wonderland. It's a cute little lively mud pool totally free to look at and just down the road from kerosene Creek. Totally a stop if your in the area. Sometimes it seems more active then others so there is a little luck in it but always cool to see.

Very interesting, natural geothermal mud pool that existed from 650 years ago. Mud clay consist of many minerals like kaolin, pyrine, silica and more. Worth a visit, it's free of charge.
