Such a cool place to see! Very unique architecture. People actually live in those houses, few of them were even for sale. Make sure to visit a museum, it’s only €3 to enter but you will see how it is to live in one of those cubes! Well worth it!

Really amazing architecture! Definitely great photo op! Went there just to take pictures, but apparently I didn’t do enough research to know that you can actually go inside the one of them, so yeah don’t make my mistake.

Unique experience! The houses are cool to look at. Also a nice modern experience. The city as a whole is very walkable and modern, and these houses are a product of this modern aesthetic. It’s a great place to explore but I wouldn’t be willing to live in one.

This is a very nice location for some pictures. Not many people now but you can literally stay in one of this cube houses which happens to be a hostel. I highly reccomend to try this. It might not be expensive

This was a must-see for me. As i couldn't figure the layout in my mind. Only 3 euros to have a look inside one. Which put it all into perspective for me. A very minimal way of living that would really work as they have everything needed for a comfortable lifestyle. Nice little gift shop on site too.

It's great fun and had wonderful time to see that cubic structure. You can look inside also. Infrastructure is so good and creative. There is restaurant inside, shops, chess museum. You can spend good time there when you are in Rotterdam.

Mandatory place if you are into design, architecture or creativity. The cube houses gives you a feeling of being a child again playing with your Lego blocs. Bring your camera. To avoid crowds and to get a better light it’s better to come early in the morning.

Interesting buildings, can walk around and view externally, or pay €3 to peek inside. Mad structures but fascinating

Visited on a Tuesday Cube houses are fascinating, make sure you walk up the step into the middle courtyard. A cube house is open for visitors 3 euros pp. There was a massive street market on Tuesday Also, visit the indoor market.

I had the opportunity to visit Cube House in Rotterdam, and even though I didn't explore the interior, the exterior alone left a lasting impression with its remarkably unique architecture. I highly recommend taking the time to visit the area and soak in the striking design. For those curious to delve deeper, you can step inside the house for a mere 3 euros, offering a chance to experience its intriguing interior firsthand.

undoubtedly one of the most unique housing developments you will ever see, in the Netherlands and in the world. it’s free to wander around at your leisure, €3 to enter one of the houses and take a little tour. well worth the small price. gives you a fascinating look into how exactly you’d live in one of these houses. also ends up making a very nice pedestrian bridge over one of the busiest roads in rotterdam and you can watch the traffic go by. pretty cool at night

Really astonishing architecture! Definitely great photos taking location! I live near by it and it's always a great walk around the place to appreciate one of the iconic locations with amazing design in Rotterdam!

This amazing architecture will surely capture your attention as soon as you arrive at the heart of Rotterdam. To be inside is also exceptional. Meubels are all personalized/customized to fit well. It's worth visiting y'all.

Beautiful architecture. Centrally located, with some cafes and restaurants within / nearby. Worth the visit. Plan for about 30 minutes. In addition, it is possible to enter one of these houses for €3.

I liked it, didn’t stay so long, but once to go and see it is worth. But there is not much information can be found. But to look around is a must. If you are fancy, one of the house is been working as a hostel, check in booking. com.

A gimmick, thought provoking on the outside, but so disappointing on the inside. Claustrophobic with dangerous stairs, not worth the entry fee (although it wasn’t much). Don’t waste your time, there are better things to do in Rotterdam.

Impressive building from outside. Very touristic and inside is not so fancy as it looks from outside. Very cool neighborhood as well. A strange thing is that some families live there at the city center and at the most touristic spot in Rotterdam maybe and they are upset with tourists.

This is a unique architecture connecting the old harbor with the Black station. It’s a must see in Rotterdam, houses a museum and a hostel. Make sure you walk through the complex. Accessible 24/7 and worth visiting day and night!

It is interesting to observe the houses, but in my opinion, it is not really a surprise how the houses work. However the interior is nice. You are charged €3 for visiting a house. Some housea are private houses or offices that are not open for the public. As far as thw concept is concerned, it is interesting

It’s rather a lifetime opportunity to see one from inside, to not be disappointed do not expect too much, as it’s not a museum. It seems the owner lives there, so the experience is more like visiting a friend’s house for the first time than visiting a museum exhibition. If it’s crowded inside just wait a bit ‘cos people get in and out constantly. For EUR 3 it was a good experience, the tickets are available on the spot.

Totally extra ordinary place. Very interesting and inspirational.

  • 4/5 Nick A. 9 months ago on Google
Very cool design. there was even an attraction that you could buy a cheap ticket and see the inside of one. The area around them were filled with shops to eat and drink and very near from there was an amazing hall with all sorts of different cousins. Definitely a must see if visiting Netherlands. It was my favorite place among all the ones i visited.

  • 5/5 Rachel S. 10 months ago on Google
The museum takes like 10 min max and is only €3 so I’d say it’s worth it just to see the inside. Very cool place to take photos and obviously a unique sight to see.

This place is one of my favorites: I have been there three times. It's really interesting to feel how is it: to live in a cube. Moreover, at the first floor you have a short FAQ with the answers to the most popular questions. How do people wash the windows there? How much does the cubic house cost? P.S. the yard of the complex is a great location for photos 📸 they are always bright and unusual 😀

Unique design of the facade in the shape of cubes. It’s also interesting to see how the architect has been able to accommodate all rooms inside oddly placed cubes.

  • 4/5 Nibu G. 8 months ago on Google
It's a very unique apartment building. There is a lot of information about the architecture. You can go inside a flat for just 3 Euros per person.

As you see in the pictures, these houses are unique. There is a "museum" here, that you can pay 2 or 3 euro to go into one of these houses and see how people live in one of these.

  • 3/5 Kevo G. 7 months ago on Google
Cool to see how people would live in these houses and definitely answers that question. I do believe that they could've styled the interior design more homely so that you don't have to guess how people would actually use certain spaces that weren't obvious like the kitchen and bedroom. Sort of how IKEA displays small rooms fully furnished.

The estate itself is well worth visiting as the houses are very unique. The museum is very small, crowded, with limited information on the estates construction, but it's also very cheap. You'll be in there around 10mins. It's a worth to see rather than must see.

  • 2/5 Valerie R. 7 months ago on Google
There was only one house to look at inside, and there wasn't much artwork to warrant the 4e ticket. They were more interesting from outside. …

  • 3/5 Andrew B. 7 months ago on Google
The do look amazing against the backdrop of the rest of Rotterdam, architecturally they are impressive. It is not a place you can spend very long, once you’ve seen them, that’s it. No information could be found around the area on why and who designed them or even what they look like inside (which is something that intrigued me) The one thing that meant it was worth doing is it’s proximity to the Markthal. Definitely worth seeing, but don’t expect much more than that.

Rotterdam is for me one of the most pleasant and surprising cities. i love taking pictures and this place is full of different points of view. the nearby square with the splendid shopping center is also worth visiting. and if you don't have a camera, it's time to buy one!

  • 5/5 Anjana M. 2 years ago on Google
You get exactly what you expect. Cube houses, unique architecture. 3 euros entry and it takes 10 minutes to walk through and click pictures. We went on a weekday and there was no rush at all.

It is kinda funny to walk through the kubus museum or rather kubus house and see the inside. But it is still a house. If you like architecture it might be interesting or for tourists. Otherwise just watch the pictures on internet. Its 3,- for adults and it takes about 5-10 min to see it including your own pictures.

Fun but 3€ for merely 10min of visit, I cannot say it was worth it. Curiosity got the better of us I guess

  • 4/5 Angela 5 months ago on Google
Very cool looking attraction, you can enter the museum for a few euros and take a look around what the cube houses look like In side

  • 5/5 Nindya K. 2 years ago on Google
Beautiful. I can't describe it properly. It was a very nice museum with so many business inside like coffeeshop and all. So close to the harbour and it has a very unique architecture design. The color combination make it more alive and location is so easy to reach.

Great learning experience, beautiful views of the city, a wonderful time when you are discovering a new city with the family. A wonderful concept to explore new ways to use small places as homes! Clean, very nice and the host is so nice that she offered to take our pictures when she noticed that we were having difficulties to take the pictures. It was awesome and we enjoyed a beautiful time there.

Weird, strange but lovely houses in Rotterdam. They're a must-see if you're in town. The view is wonderful and there's even a museum to explore.

  • 4/5 Julie H. 2 years ago on Google
Very cool architecture. We went inside for 3€ each. Took is less than 5 minutes to walk around the house and back out. It’s enough to just see it from the outside.

  • 5/5 Garreth K. 2 years ago on Google
Never seen anything like these before. Intriguing architecture running over a street next to a quaint little harbor. One of my favourite things I've seen in Rotterdam to date!

  • 4/5 Tamer B. 2 years ago on Google
Interesting building style. What was surprising that those houses are used as personal accommodations. I thought that they are shops and restaurants. The concept of small houses is interesting. Moreover, the place is fun to have a walk by and take some very good photos there. It is a touristic attraction and there were a lot of tourists there. The place is located in Rotterdam centrum near the Rotterdam central station.

A stunning complex by architect Pete Bloom from the 1970s. It is recommended to visit one of the houses that has become a museum.

A must go to place in Rotterdam. The buildings are so imaginative. I’ve never seen anything else remotely similar to these houses anywhere. Well worth a visit and viewing the inside of the open house.

Amazing homes that you can go inside to view for 2€ if you’re a student. it’s free to walk inside without entering the actual rooms. Very cool architecture

Nice place to visit at city centre. No need for tickets or any queues. It won’t take long to see the place, but it worth to pay a visit when I Rotterdam. The access is easy and easy very close to the market.

  • 5/5 Jennifer Y. 10 months ago on Google
Definitely one of the most unique buildings ever! We paid 3 Euro to tour one of the houses. They go for 380,000 Euro and have three floors. Some have been converted to shops and even a hostel.

Brilliant design 🤩one of the city's most iconic attractions. Located on Overblaak Street, right above the Blaak metro station.

  • 4/5 richandjulie A. 1 year ago on Google
An iconic location in Rotterdam. One of those things you probably have to see, but only once! It's just 3 euros for adults to go inside one of the cubes (there is a lot of stair climbing and it can be quite crowded), but it's fascinating to see how these houses were constructed and are used (real people actually live in most of them!). Yes, you will leave wondering why? But maybe that's art? Worth a quick visit

  • 5/5 Jamie W. 11 months ago on Google
What a fun experience to walk through the Cube House area and explore those interesting houses. The area is quite the tourist site, but also an open area to walk through the lower level of these Cube Homes are the soar high above. Very cool structures as they sit near the harbor.

  • 5/5 Nicholas D. 10 months ago on Google
Super cute place with the architecture!!! Would definitely recommend to visit when in Rotterdam. Get a coffee or some food down at the little cute old harbour or visit the one open example cube apartment to see how people actually live in those cube houses. Food places in Rotterdam are amazing and the entire city is very beautiful.

  • 4/5 Ra W. 9 months ago on Google
Nice place to take pictures. Can pay 2€ (3€ for normal) to see the inside of the cube (not a definitely to go in but cool to check out as well). Also a hostel as well!

  • 4/5 Jessica T. 2 years ago on Google
Curious of how it's looking inside ? For €3,50 or €2 with the Rotterdam Welcome Card, you're good to go (cash or card - no mask required). Enjoy!

  • 4/5 Joanne G. 9 months ago on Google
The Cubes are an architectural marvel in housing and have become a tourist attraction. Easy to get to as there is a tram stop right there between the Cubes and the Market Place. It’s a nice walk from the cruise terminal as well all along the waterfront.

  • 5/5 S T. 2 years ago on Google
I loved it! Was vey playful and nice to see! I was impressed of how big they actually are and it’s like a neighborhood not only 2-3 houses! We visited the “museum” which for 3€ you can see inside how a cube house is and it’s surprising big! Walk and take photos you will really enjoy

  • 4/5 Refcon 9 months ago on Google
Interesting and unique architecture. It’s quite popular and it’s also people’s homes. Definitely worth a walk through if you’re over here.
