I think they have a reputation when it comes to pregnant women and child vaccinations. There is always a huge crowd of mothers and babies which tells you that there must be something bringing them which I think mostly has to do with the subsidized/low/no cost for some services rendered as opposed to the private hospitals. Stern-faced and strict personnel is a common one around here. The COVID-19 vaccinations can also be taken here and there is usually no crowd for this particular service.

A great primary health care facility, has community health insurance scheme in place and is rated high. A good place for maternal and child health care services. A proof that things can work and health systems strengthening is a important in improving health care

They have a well organized structure and system. They are prompt in attending to patients. The environment is very clean, kudos to the cleaners. The security men are also doing a very good job.

Unprofessionalism... My wife gave birth in their hospital and bleed refused to stop after some months and they first lied that is normal later said it's her period finally they asked her to do scan which she did and it resulted that they didn't remove the Plazenta inside her and some particles and they started demanding very huge amount of money to remove it even when they failed in their profession. They're not also organised with rude nurses and aggressive workers allover there no one to complain to if you have complains. All they ask is money money money

Great place for budget health care. While you won't get the VIP treatment, you are sure that everyone caring for you is qualified and very capable. SPDC also supplied medical equipment so their SCBU is very good. Only downside is the crowd, the wait is long for non emergencies. The staff are very helpful. They are overworked.

This hospital is actually one if the best, if not the best, in terms of maternal health care in Rivers state. The facility is clean and up to date, with very young and well qualified doctors always in attendance. It is also well run, with highly efficient staff in all areas. Kudos to OCH

An affordable Health Care Service provided by Shell Petroleum Development Company as part of Coporate Social Responsibility to the people of Rumuobiokani and its environs. I have also noted that people travel from all areas of Port harcourt to seek medical attention in this hospital. You can choose to enrol in the Health Insurance Scheme with annual payment of about 10,000naira only or Pay as you come at 1,000naira Consultation fee and full payment for drugs.

This facility is overrated, I wish I read reviews before going there. The nurses are among the worst behaved I have ever experienced. As if they were picked from the streets to work there. Very rud, impolite and unfriendly. Too bad!

    1. Oxygen is used as a strategy of increasing bill especially new babies instead of the other way round 2. Obio don't use Glucose D to sustain babies rather drip strategy and is chargeable. 3. Obio tells a woman in labor, if u voice CS it will be at ur own cost. obio can only approve CS at 50 50 situation which is dangerous. 4. No room for negotiation. Bill is rigid 5. Where and where does this so called scheme applied. MY OBSERVATIONS.

Even my worst enemy I can't recommend to this health centre , after all the mismanagement that lead to the lose of our 5 months old pregnancy, the Doctors didn't still remove the placenta completely; I almost lost my wife in the process, instead they gave her drugs that lead to more bleeding and sent us home 1)Nurses attitude zero 2) Doctors competency 0.00 3)environment = mosquito Republic... Note no Dr gives drugs to a patient without guiding her ( prescription ) Note too no qualified Dr leaves remains of placenta and after two weeks of the patient bleeding... still introduces pills that could make her bleed more and still send her home in a careless manner... I have names to mention let me stop here for now I am so pained
