Maison Sénac

Clean and comfortable at a fair price the bathroom had a little bit of mold and mildew. Needs a shower door to keep that from happening.

Норм отель только ключей не хватает, код иногда глючит, хорошо что персонал был в тот момент когда я заселялась и помог открыть дверь. Я была одна так что дверь которая отъезжает в сторону в туалете вместо обычной меня не смутила, но это нужно иметь ввиду.

No es un hotel, no tienen recepción ni nadie que te atienda en persona. No tiene ascensor. La habitación podría ser más curiosa y limpia. No había secador y se lo pedimos a la chica que limpia las habitaciones.

Endroit dans une rue tranquille , entre gare et port , quartier thiers à deux pas du metro noailles facile d'accès pour tout . Hôtel en gestion libre , 1 code rue , 1 code chambre , propre et en bonne état si ce n'est que la gestion libre c'est sans accueil comptoir , et vous n'y croiserez pas grand monde !! Peut etre une femme de ménage les matins qui bossent sinon c'est très anonyme , ni aller pas chercher de chaleur humaine , pas de petit déj non plus ... Après rien à redire , les contacts sont fluides pour les accès et les demandes particulière sont écoutés sur les heures d'arrivées par ex ..... A savoir

Location pour un petit week-end solo à Marseille. Endroit sécurisé, très jolie et propre , vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés.

Quite a horrible experience but Could be better. However struggled with Doors that lock automatically, Got back into the hotel and was unable to access the room. Faced with a horrid smell throughout the stay and rooms reeked of cigarettes.

Perfect location, host very nice (answered the phone at 22pm to open for us and let us leave our bags at the reception for our last day) rooms are clean. Very good for the price

It seems, having seen the reviews in the last months, that they repeatedly refuse to do anything about the immense amount of bed bugs in this hotel. They also claimed over the phone that they haven't had them for a long time - if that's the case, what's with the recent reviews? Upon arrival I did my usual bed bug checks and immediately found them. Please, do not stay here folks. My regret is that I did not check Google reviews before booking.

Good and friendly service, the location of the hotel is excellent, and the appearance of the rooms considering the very cheap price. I saw in the comments that people were complaining about the noise, personally, my friend and I did not hear it, and if there was any, it was minimal considering that it is in the city center. We felt safe during our stay at the hotel (we are girls in our 20s). The cleanliness of the toilet was 6/10 because of dust. If we ever come back we will definitely return to this hotel.

J'ai passé deux nuits à la maison sénac. L'hôtel se tient dans une immeuble de 4 étages, sans ascenseur, avec 4 chambres par pallier. J'étais au deuxième étage. À mon arrivée, j'ai été accueillie mais tout se fait en autonomie. La chambre était très propre, la literie était très bonne aussi. Le seul bémol c'est l'odeur de canalisation après la douche qui est plutôt caractéristique de la ville (de ce qu'on m'a dit), et un peu de moisissure sur deux petites plaintes de la salle de bain. Autrement, j'avais un petit balcon ensoleillé qui donne sur une court avec plusieurs petits jardins en dessous, sans vis-à-vis, très agréable. Concernant le bruit, j'ai passé deux nuits totalement différentes. La première très bruyante par le manque de savoir vivre des autres habitants des chambres. C'est vrai que les murs sont très fins et on entend tout, à cela se rajoutent les personnes qui se pensent seuls, j'ai tout de même réussi à dormir mais ce n'était pas agréable. La deuxième nuit, pas un bruit, vraiment aucun, c'était très agréable. Par contre l'hôtel est bien situé, il y a le Cours Julien à 5 min à pied, endroit très agréable pour se poser au soleil et boire un verre (une place avec différents bars et plusieurs terrasses). J'étais à 15 min à pied de la gare, 15 min à pied du vieux port. Aux alentours, il y a deux grandes avenues avec pleins de magasins, des petites supérettes. Pour terminer, j'ai eu besoin de contacter la réception, ils ont répondu immédiatement et le souci a été résolu.

A fuir, chambre pas propre, très bruyant car tout le monde peut rentrer n’importe quand dans l’hôtel et aucune isolation. Pas très sécurisé (au matin la femme de l’accueil est rentrée dans la chambre pendant que nous dormions). Toute la nuit il y a eu des personnes qui criaient et faisaient des aller retour entre l’extérieur et l’hôtel réveillant tout le monde à plusieurs reprises.

Très bon rapport qualité prix Les chambres sont très propres et la literie impeccable. Tout se fait en autonomie mais le personnel croisé est adorable ainsi que la direction, très réactive aux demandes. Emplacement idéal. Hôtel calme et c'est un luxe à Marseille. Seul petit bémol, la moquette de l'escalier qui serait à changer et le manque d'ascenseur qui rend l'accès difficile aux personnes ayant des difficultés à se déplacer. Au final, une bonne adresse à recommander !

DONT STAY HERE. False photos, unsafe to stay. People wanting to break in to my room - very unsafe!! We stayed here with a group only to found out that one couple left at the first night due to the horrible smell, fungus and spots of human dirt on the walls. I was harrassed at 1.50 in the night by two males wanted to get into my room. WHICH WAS EXTREMELY UNSAFE. A call to the number of the non existent reception was ofcourse not answered. With help I managed to escape the fecility and booked another hotel in the middle of the night. The whole group then l eft the next day only to be met with "I will speak to the management" - which ofcourse is also non existent. No refund, but only answers like "the situation wasnt bad enough". Really, do not go here and make these people earn any money.

Très bien situé pour découvrir Marseille et tranquille pour se reposer.

I don’t like to review places negatively, as I don’t like to generalize from a personal experience. However this was an extremely negative experience from beginning to end. Poorly renovated, had to move room due to the air conditioner in the first room gushing water. A litany of issues even after moving: - non existent lobby, must text with staff to deal with issues. - dark and very sad looking entrance way - pictures are not representative of rooms They are much darker and the furniture is no better than IKEA quality. Desk wobbled and was completely unusable. Nothing looked to be assembled properly or with care— paint splotches everywhere, poor craftsmanship - a staff member unlocked the door to our room at 6 am, then again at 8 am and 9 am. No reason, No explanation, no apology. Staff member talked outside the very thin door to another person for thirty minutes at 6 am. -observed another staff member berating another guest. It was so uncomfortable to hear. - door to bathroom was not installed properly. It was either off its tracks or stuck and wouldn’t move. Door never closed properly so no privacy in bathroom. - air conditioner stopped working in the second room as well. I asked the hotel for a fan or something to help with the heat and humidity in the room. They ignored me and said they’d look at the ac the next day, conveniently after we check out. Thus we were unable to sleep both nights there. - Safe in room does not work, thus unable to secure valuables Best part of the place is the location and ease to get around. I’d consider this place worth it if the price were half what it was. Otherwise, there are many other options at this price point and I very much regret my decision to stay here.

Stay away! One month ago i booked on Booking.com, prepaid my stay and on my arrival day the hotel contacted me on WhatsApp (not through Booking) to tell me that they are having some water issues so they cannot host me! So i arrived in Marseille and i had no place to stay! The worst thing is that they told me i will get my refund but to this day, i never got my money back!

Marseille is wonderful but this hotel is horrible. We had to leave two days early and only stay one night because our room had black mold all over the bathroom. I was coughing, wheezing and had red itchy eyes from one night in the room which black mold. We went to reception to change rooms twice, once at night and once in the morning and both times no one was there. Then we emailed them and no one wrote us back. We booked through Agoda and asked for a refund for the two days we didn’t stay there because of the black mold, and they declined. I would not recommend staying here at all.

Rooms had everything that was needed and great AC. There is no lobby so everything is handled via WhatsApp but the staff always answered and were extremely helpful. Only negative— the cleaning staff tried to come into the room before checkout time. Other than that, a very positive experience!

A rip-off! Dirty room, smell of tobacco as soon as you enter, no reception, drug dealers and prostitutes on the street. A bad WhatsApp number to contact the owner, who didn't answer when we were blocked at the entrance. Scandalous. Fake reviews on Booking, it's obvious!

Pas de réception, pas de numéro d’urgence, Chambre et accueil sale. Insonorisation du rdc au 4eme étage. Lit confortable.

Avoid this hotel if you can, never venture booking 'Reserve now and pay later' option. They will immediately debit the money from your card and never respond or acknowledge. The moment you speak english, they disconnect the call. Keeps promising that they will refund your money but AlaS!!!! its never and never ! DO NOT BOOK!!

À fuir absolument, une honte ! J’ai séjourné à la Maison Sénac à Marseille et c’est, sans exagération, l’une des pires expériences que j’ai vécues. Dès mon arrivée, la rue était jonchée de déchets, une véritable décharge à ciel ouvert, avec des rats qui couraient à quelques mètres de l’entrée. Un décor digne d’un cauchemar. Mais le pire était à venir : l’intérieur de la chambre. Une odeur insupportable m’a sauté au nez dès que j’ai ouvert la porte, comme un mélange de moisi, d’égout et de saleté accumulée. L’air était irrespirable, j’ai même eu des nausées. Les draps douteux. Et comme si ce n’était pas suffisant, j’ai eu des démangeaisons pendant la nuit, et me suis réveillé avec des boutons sur les bras et le corps. Inacceptable. Aucune hygiène, aucune considération pour le confort ou la santé des clients. Cet établissement ne devrait tout simplement pas avoir le droit d’accueillir du public. Une honte absolue. Je déconseille fortement cet endroit à quiconque tient un minimum à sa santé et à son bien-être. Fuyez, tout simplement.
