Ok
this
is
industrial
history
walk
of
an
old
quarry
which
closed
in
1991.
Entrance
is
5
euro
with
a
map.
There
are
walking
routes
but
on
our
visit
the
only
route
open
was
blue
route
due
to
potential
fire
risk,
which
I
in
my
opinion
was
so
true
very
dry
and
hot.
The
blue
route
about
2
km.
I
would
advise
you
down
load
the
app,
there
short
codes
around
on
site.
I
never
quite
worked
it
out
but
type
in
circuit
on
the
search
and
I
went
blue
route
it
can
then
give
an
audio
guide
which
was
nice,
but
the
app
took
a
fair
bit
of
trying
to
work
it
out.
I
am
not
a
geologist
or
natural
world
expert
so
my
view
may
be
different.
I
had
a
pleasant
walk
around
a
disused
quarry
with
different
coloured
sands.
It
was
bit
of
MARS.
Make
sure
sensible
shoes
and
bottle
water.
Staff
were
friendly.
Cash
at
car
park.
Some
small
café
to
buy
drinks.
Sorry
for
not
going
wow!
but
for
me
ok.
Maybe
a
school
geography
teacher
would
put
me
in
detention
until
I
realise
the
beauty
and
complexity
of
earths
movements.
I
see
old
quarry
with
coloured
sands.
