My credit card number was stolen by this hotel and attempted to be used to buy an off-road suspension kit. As a permanent traveler it's a real pain to have a card stolen, since getting my hands on the replacement will take months. I regret staying here, and advise others to avoid it.

Having stayed at countless hotels over 15 years in Addis, and after staying at Ramada twice now, I won't use this hotel in the future. The management is poorly trained and not equipped to handle simple logical tasks. They only know how to do things one way, and whenever an unknown variable comes their way - they don't know what to do and you are left waiting. If you call reception they will say "i will call you back" and they never do. The key cards constantly don't work and you need to go back down to change them (i think during the week it happened 4 times). Breakfast is WAY OVERPRICED to any standard or in any country (850 Birr!!!) and the bread is old and stale, the pastries are hard, and the food is barely mediocre. To charge that kind of price in Addis you should be serving something amazing. Go across the street to Chaka for breakfast and you will get something10x better for 1/4 of the price.

The service at Ramada is beyond disappointing. The food was very bad. Not only the food tastes bad it was disgustingly unhygienic. We found stamps and hair all over the meat on our plate. Then the service is also not something I expect from such hotel. The staff were disrespectful and were not at all hospitable . In general my experience with Ramada was one of the worst. I completely do not recommend it at all.

I had the most pleasant stay at Ramada Addis during my 10days trip to Ethiopia. All staff were friendly and professional. The location is perfect for anyone on a business trip having a 5-minute access to the Bole International Airport. It's situated in one of the most safe neighborhoods. There's a free airport shuttle bus service. I would highly recommend staying in this hotel to anyone who's planning to visit Addis.

This hotel is located few mins away from international airport. Rooms are clean and comfortable with small balcony but there is no balcony access. Housekeeping service is quick. There is a very small gym which is made in one of the rooms and has very limited equipments but good weights. There was no water or towel in the Gym so when I went to front dest to ask for it the lady seems quite rude and didn’t give me water. There are two restaurants and bar. Both are quite nice. Overall hotel staff are kind and helpful.

Please make sure you pay in full when you reserve this hotel. My family that lives in Addis reserved this hotel for me, my brother, and my son. (Why spend US dollars when we have money here). My brother and I left home 30 years ago and this was our first visit since. Hotel discussed a price with my family and insisted that they only pay half because we may chose to go to another hotel (??? never heard this before). We had 2 days left from the 10 day stay and hotel insisted that we pay the balance. My family came to pay the bill and there were extra charges from what was previously discussed…. It left a bad taste in my mouth because it was not about the money. I felt cheated. They should have let us pay the full price when we book the hotel. They refused to take the charges off. Check your receipts too because our bills started chainring ago the bar towards the end of the trip because they realized we were tipping well. Wish my country had a hotel that was full off greed.

I had a wonderful experience at the Ramada Addis Hotel, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. On the 10 floor there is a Brazilian Restaurant. I love the service, the food, and the music . I highly recommend it to date.

I was disappointed with service I got last night. Definitely won't be going back. Eden refused to gives a room until she received a confirmation email. However, she could've asked for a credit card to hold on file or asked to hold our ID cards till she got that email. Last night was my fourth time back and she (Eden) remembers me and the rate i usually get a one night room for at the Ramada. I explained to her that I got a better rate online and just booked it because it was late and wanted a place to sleep. I sat in the lobby for a good 10-15min hoping that email would come but it never did. She said there was nothing she could do even though she has all my info from previous reservations. Never again will I be returning to the Ramada

Great place to be, however, was not so lucky during my stay from May 4 to May 19, 2021 as construction was ongoing and the noise level during working hours was above normal. Hence, the gym was perched into a hotel room and the choice of equipment was not the best. In addition there are pickpockets active around the hotel. Had a bad episode with them as well. In general the staff is very helpful, friendly and attentive. The location, breakfast and WI-FI is great but I can award only 4 stars here. Find out yourself how to rate.

Thought it was good service until I was charged 80$ for basic laundry service for a small bag of clothes. They didn’t think to mention that prices were in US$ and not Birr…

Lovely hotel in an excellent location. Near to the airport, shopping and in the heart of city. Rooms are spotless & cleaned daily, breakfast is plentiful. Staff are very helpful & plenty of restaurants within the hotel. One of the staff who’s name is (Wasihun Bekele) very polite person and also an amazing guy who brought for me the belonging I lost and he found and brought it to my room. Really an amazing guy and examplinery to our next generation. His service was always excellent, I recommend this hotel for everyone who stays at Addis. Regards,

This is my second time staying at Ramada but It is my first time at the breakfast buffet on the first floor. When I entranced the breakfast buffet this morning. A gentleman named “Besufkad” greeted me with the biggest smile you have ever seen in Addis Ababa. After I sat down I went to the coffee counter to request for a cup of cappuccino. I remembered that the same gentleman was doing his paperwork. He immediately acknowledged me and promise me a good cup of coffee. 2 minutes later, Besufkad came with the personalized cup of coffee with my name written on the milk froth! He might have know from the restaurant guest list when I mentioned my room number at the beginning for the cheque! Oh well, the breakfast choices were nice and the omelette with chili was my thing! I was in the buffet roughly for an hour or so. I have noticed how awesome Besufkad was to the other guests. He was very helpful and always have his big smile on his face throughout the hours. What a great hospitality and genuine service he provides for his guests. Besufkad, Thank you very much for a great experience staying at this Ramada! You actually made my day :)

The place is fantastic to stay. The staff is really helpful and courteous. The room is spacious and makes for a nice cozy place to work and live. They have a tie up with Washington medical center so you have the convenience of getting your RT-PCR test in your room. The nurse was very friendly and I got my report on time. The food is amazing. I'm a vegetarian and I absolutely loved the food here. The coffee here is out of this world. Strongly recommend to anyone who is transiting. Would definitely visit again.

Good & accommodative staff who help right away with small requests on food & beverages. Rooms are not noise insulated with road traffic movement a constant disturbance. Very tiny gym with space for barely 2 people in there. The location attracts petty crime like pickpockets. Overall, an average experience.

During my stay at Ramada Addis, I was thoroughly impressed by the exceptional service provided by the receptionists, Mulualem and Helen. Their friendliness, kindness, and helpfulness truly enhanced my trip. They went above and beyond to ensure my needs were met, making my stay memorable and enjoyable. Highly recommend this hotel for their outstanding staff and comfortable accommodations.

After staying 2 weeks here, we can admit It is worth money and 4 stars. The staff are really friendly and helpful and surprisingly smiling(what cannot be said about local Ethiopians). Rooms are well organized, on time room service, room cleaning is spotless. We appreciated the helpfulness of a Manager Bekie(sorry for misspelling) she is a real gem of the hotel! Furthermore, she helped to organize a surprising birthday celebration to my husband, so we are thankful for this also.

Visited the Brazilian steakhouse. It is the worst Brazilian steakhouse I have ever been to anywhere in the world and I have patronized quite a few especially in the US and Africa. One of the worst overall restaurant experiences ever. The service was bad, the food was not good and they just stopped serving us and brought everybody their deserts despite the fact that we were not done. They should shut this place down! Sad!

I would like to send words of thanks to all the staff working at the Ramada Addis Ababa Hotel for their patience, good treatment, professionalism and respect. With this good treatment, they gave me enthusiasm to visit Addis Ababa and the Ramada Hotel many times in the near future.

The hotel was conveniently located near the Airport with shuttle service. Staff was very friendly and accommodating to our group. When one of our guests fell I'll the bell man walked out of his way to direct us to the pharmacy, and when it was raining the security was standing by with umbrellas. This isn't your standard Ramada, it's very upscale, trendy and in a secure part of Addis.

Ramada Addis is an exceptional hotel. The staff is friendly and attentive, the rooms are spacious and well-appointed, and the service is outstanding. The hotel offers excellent dining options, a well-equipped fitness center, and a convenient location. Highly recommended for a pleasant stay in Addis Ababa. The area is safe and secure. They have a wide restaurant area in level 1. Customers have a choice of choosing stay with breakfast option. I prefer that, since they have a wide range of options in their breakfast buffet with a timing of 6am to 10 am.

My experience here was below expectations. With the name it had i had bad customer service and also for the buffet the fasting buffet is not separated with non fasting which i had to call a waiter to give me the info about each food and when you like to order a food they take to much time. I really wish they can work on these things

I had a very good stay here. The room was large and well maintained. The breakfast had a good variety of food to choose from. The restaurant also serves lunch and dinner and being a vegetarian I did not find it difficult to choose from. The hotel staff are very friendly. And I was specially pleased by the different patterns that I saw on my bed everyday during my stay.

Stayed here twice and both experiences were fine. I do like the bar here, nice selection of beers and drinks and a good food menu. They also have quiz nights and other activities during the week. I didn't try the restaurant upstairs but it looked nice. Room furnishings were basic but sufficient.

The only reason I'm giving it 4 is because, the parking situation needs to be fixed ASAP. It's always full... We had to park my friend's car somewhere else and walk a long distance. Not fun at all.

I was disappointed by the lack of consistency in their quality of ginger tea. I ordered ginger tea on two different days, the first of which was thick and tasted fresh although it was served half full. The second time I ordered ginger tea (the next day) it was served filled to the brim but was diluted and tatsed like it was made from a ginger tea bag. They were happy to change it for me, however, but I was disappointed by their lack of consistency so I left. For completelness of my comments on my experience, food was also barely average. I wasn't impressed with their spaghetti sauce.

Good place to stay in bole area with great location, good staff, spacious rooms, good cleanliness , currently suitable for business travellers , however with renovation with additional facilities will make it more attractive. however carriage of luggage from entrance to reception is not convenient. Menu choices are limited specially for vegetarian and asians.
