The covid test was smooth. But the results were not given in the promised time for which they charged 100 USD . We had to call multiple times and finally had to visit them to get the test reports.

Coronavirus testing place is crowded and unorganized. If you are there to get a test for a flight remember that some people are here to get test because they have symptoms and could be infected.

The worest health organization I have ever seen their motivations are not to nurse patients to health or to give accurate and reliable information about your health they just want your money 🤮 sad! They should be ashamed of theirselves.

The most incompetent clinic ever! You make an appointment a day ahead with a doctor for him to end up extremely late Pluse the attitude you are given from the second reception desk at the hallway when you ask questions is so unprofessional, maybe you should hire ppl that actually want to be there. What's the point of making appointments if you have to wait in pain for hrs anyway??!.All this for mediocre health service..Would 100% not recommend! This place has no respect for peoples time or people in general!

Today, I am deeply saddened by the insult and mistreatment by Helina Nigusse who is sitting in front of the internal gate counter. Yesterday ,June 3 2023, I was sick and in need of sudden urgent support due to unexpected abdominal severe pain. All the employee in the front the reception desk hosted me well. Finally I went to Dr Melaku who was humble and understanding. He was caring and very sensitive. He immediately sent me to laboratory and ultrasound. Unfortunately the radiologist already left around 5:15 pm. So they told me to go to pioneer. Pionner gave me urgent service due to the pain I encountered. I returned back to the medical center and gave it to Dr Melaku. He advised me and prescribed IV so that I would be better and the remaining lab result would be ready for the next day early in the morning. Unfortunately, the night was so terrible and I was still in pain and arrived with my wife in the morning around 9:30AM. I requested the nurse to enter into Dr Melaku mentioning my case that was started yesterday . I was in pain and even unable to sit. She said “ wait !there are more patients.” I said I am here for my result. I am in pain. She refused. I stood and waited 20 minutes with unbearable pain. Finally I got in and Dr Melaku treated me kindly with caring spirit. Then he immediately prescribed anti pain with IV and ordered CT scan. So my wife flew me to Pionner and they gave me priority and returned back to Dr Melaku with the CD result. Then I asked again Helina Nigusse to get in to Dr. Melaku . Still I am in pain but better. I kindly asked her please let me in . She refused and told me to wait 5 more people. I said it is a result. Still she did not agree. After I waited atleast 20 minutes, the moment a customer leaves from Dr. Melaku office, I just stepped in. I talked to him and left. But Helina insulted my wife, “tell your man he is ባለጌ" my wife answered “we don’t expect from a person who wears this respected uniform. That is not him. That word reveals who you’re. We don’t accept that”. My wife told me after we left the compound. I wanted to take measure by my own hand but my personality doesn’t fit me to do it. My background ethics told me to leave to God. I will post this to all the social media and I believe Helina Nigusse should be punished as per the crime she did to me and my wife. I am sad that Washington medical center is represented by people like the arrogant disrespectful, ignorant and hateful Helina Nigusse.

The good clinic receptionist I ever encountered, disrespectful and what makes it better is have wonderful staff.

I went to the Rwanda embassy area branch looking for a covid test. I don't recommend this "medical center" to anyone, particularly if you want to get an urgent pcr test done. Terrible experience, they are disorganized and unreliable, they promise what they can't deliver and they don't communicate anything properly unless the person seeking the service asks for it repeatedly. Their sole purpose appears to be to collect as much money as quickly as possible. Don't waste your time going here.

I was anxious to do my travel covid test there after reading all the horrible reviews. However, my experience was not as unfortunate as for some people reviewing this place. I got the expedited pcr test and received my negative result in 6 hours. The process was not really safe however. The place is very chaotic. The lines are very crowded, NO DISTANCE between people. The process of registration and payment is very unclear. I lost my spot in the line a few times because first they sent me to scan my passport, then I had to go to a different place to make a payment because they only receive cash..Because this process is unclear your visit is much longer than needed and the crowd is all mixed, both patients with covid symptoms and healthy travelers. Also, they misspelled my name when I was registered. Very grateful to the lady who collected the material for the test for catching this typo and helping me fix it with the guys at the registration desk. About staff, I did not experience rudeness or unprofessionalism. Most of them seem to be nice and working hard. It just looks like this place is overwhelmed by the flow of patience and they need a bigger space, more staff and a better system to keep their workers and patience safe. If you are healthy and just need a negative covid certificate, the risk to catch the disease there is big because this clinic is not following precaution very well and the crown is huge. I would recommend considering the drive through option at their another location.

I amnt gonna give them 0.1% they say people positive and knowing u are negative. They are the worst of all hospital regarding the covid center. I wounder why both of the covid test center is empty. I advise ppl not to go there.

I always make appointments before I show up but for some reason I wait another 2 hours before seeing a doctor and they told me to get an ultrasound done waited for another hour before they told me they weren't giving out that service cause they doing x-rays🥴. I wouldn't recommend this place for anyone who's sick and there's another place just across the street. I've never been so disappointed.

Huge pain in the butt. Wudessie is way better for PCR test. Did the drive through at Sheraton which went well. They were supposed to email the results and never did. Called ten times and couldn’t get a straight answer from them. Had an Ethiopian friend call and they said that I needed to come pick them up the following morning an hour before my flight. Wudessie is waaay better!!!!

Terrible place! I went to take a covid test, woke up the guy at the counter, paid and went to the testing room. The guy took the nose swab, it barely touched my nose for 0,5 seconds and he said "ready". I said that the nose swab barely touched my nose and the guy insisted it was good. I explained it has to go inside the nostral cavity and demanded for a new swab. Second time the swab went a little deeper, but not into the nostral cavity and again for less than a second. I demanded for a propper swab and he refused to do it. We began debating how to do it corectly, I kept demanding a propper test. Finally a woman nurse heard it, came in and did it correctly...but she put the nose swab to a different vial than the one with my ID tag. There was like 5 extra nurses in the room, all laughing about my demand for a propper test, and none of them even had a mask on! How unprofessional is that? They dont know what they are doing and just want your money. I should send them instructions on how to do a propper nose swab... Do not go there if you want a reliable result.

I did the drive through COVID 19 test at the Millennium Site. The staff was so knowledgeable, accommodating and friendly. They made me feel welcomed and concerned about me. I received my result within the promised time. It is worth it!

Needs better management. It's not well organized.😕 I wouldn't recommend this so called "Medical center" to anybody. I came here thinking they gonna heal me they gave another sickness from all the waiting and their attitudes. 🤦🏽‍♂️

Front desk team are very slow for service and uninformed to lead patients to right location to be examined. To take ultrasound and Eco, an elder has to wait for the whole day. The hospital has to look it's internal process how the staff are handling cases. Had offending experience.However, have seen professional and humble doctors in the process one thing that is most needed.

My experience here for the 24 hour pcr covid test was good and fast. I'm surprised by the negative reviews I'm reading here. Maybe it was because of the time of year I went which was early July. There was no crowd when I went to the test and was in and out of there in about 15 minutes. Collecting my results was even shorter, only about 5 minutes to get it by just showing my ID card. It is true the line for registration with you passport and for payment were separate but there was just a short line when I went in the morning around 10 am. I paid only 1200 birr.

I went there for a PCR test before travel. I had registered online and registering when I arrived was super fast. They take card payments among many other payment options. The lady who took my sample stuck the swab so far up that it felt very painful. I know some will say that’s how it’s done but I’ve had plenty of PCRs in many different countries and it was never that painful. Anyway, we had chosen the 12-hour option which is very reasonably priced compared to everywhere else in the world (not sure about elsewhere in Ethiopia) and we received the result in less than 12 hours. We’ll definitely go there again and hopefully I won’t get my nose violated again!

In and out, with results provided in the timeframe advertised (for me it was within a few hours). Staff was highly professional and quickly processed all customers. I was very ill couple of weeks ago and decided to go to Washington medical center because of their reputation. Everyone from the front desk to the nurses and doctors were amazing. I was taken care in a timely manner and checked out getting my meds from their pharmacy with no issues. The customer service manager Hanna Desta was incredible she attended me and all the other patients with a sense of urgency.

Their patient engagement and quick response was amazing. They truly are the leading medical center in Addis.

This hospital I could say, they’re open for business not for patients or to resolve patient issue only money and that’s it.

Before yesterday, I suddenly fainted while having lunch with a friend at my preferred restaurant in Addis Ababa.l immediately asked my friend to take me to Washington Medical Center in Addis Ababa. Once there, i was immediately admitted to the Emergency Room and within seconds i found myself surrounded by Doctors and medical assistants who offered me the best and appropriate medical care that was applicable in my case. Due to their concern and care,i was able to recover and they advised me to stay the night at their Intensive Care Unit(ICU). I consented without hesitation and that was a decision that I will never regret.The ICU was highly equipped with the most modern and sophisticated equipment and the medical staff were just amazing.They were highly experienced and dedicated to their job.They offered me the proper medication and in the morning I had already recovered and discharged. Can't thank you enough WMC staff. You did a brilliant job. Without any bias,I strongly recommend this Medical Center for anyone looking for the right treatment and care. Please.
