Jehangir Kothari Parade is a promenade built on land donated by Seth Jehangir Hormusji Kothari to the city of Karachi in 1919. It is situated on a hilltop in Karachi Clifton area of the Seaview Beach on the Arabian Sea Jehangir kothari was built in 1919 and opened to Karachi public in 1920. There are two structures: the Promenade Pavilion and the Pier of the complex (elevated sandstone public walkway) which is named after Lady Lloyd, wife of then Governor of Bombay Sir George Lloyd. This is evident in the marble plaque embedded in the pier wall that reads, "Lady Lloyd Pier"

A culture structure land mark associated with Jahangir Kothari who donated this place to public in 1919. Now a days it's a part of Bagh ibn e Qasim. Accessible from Funland behind Abdullah Shah shrine and from front gate opposite to Park towers.

Jehangir Kothari Parade, overlooking the Arabian Sea, is a beautiful tourist attraction and a gorgeous place to explore and enjoy. Its park re-opened as Pakistan’s largest park, Bagh Ibne Qasim after extensive renovations in 2007.

My experience at Jahangir Kothari Parade in Karachi was marked by a positive impression of the place itself. The scenic beauty and ambiance were commendable. However, it was disappointing to observe a lack of maintenance and cleanliness. The beauty of the location could be significantly enhanced with better upkeep and attention to cleanliness standards. It's a place with great potential that could shine even brighter with improved maintenance practices.

Icon of Karachi. A beautifully built Monument gifted to the city by A great Pari guy. Reflects the love old karachiites had for Karachi and it’s beauty. After Bahria under pass not as visible and it’s aura also depleted. This monument reflects the contribution Parsi community had in beautifying this city and upgrading it.

Jehangir Kothari Parade Recommendation User Write review on Jehangir Kothari Parade. Maximum character 250 ChatGPT Jehangir Kothari Parade is a beautiful sea-facing promenade located in Clifton, Karachi. As a resident of the city, I have had the opportunity to visit this place numerous times, and each time I visit, it never fails to amaze me. The parade is named after Jehangir Kothari, a famous philanthropist and businessman who was instrumental in the development of Karachi. The promenade is well-maintained, and the lush green gardens are a sight to behold. The beautifully manicured lawns provide a perfect spot for picnics, and the sea breeze is refreshing. What I love most about the Jehangir Kothari Parade is the spectacular view it offers. The Arabian Sea stretches as far as the eye can see, and the sunsets are breathtakingly beautiful. It's a great place to unwind and relax after a long day. The parade also features several jogging tracks, cycling paths, and a playground for children, making it an ideal place for families to spend some quality time together. Additionally, there are food stalls selling local delicacies, and the famous Cafe Flo is also located in the vicinity. In conclusion, Jehangir Kothari Parade is a must-visit place for anyone who is visiting Karachi. The stunning views, well-maintained gardens, and various recreational activities make it an ideal destination for people of all ages. If you're looking for a serene and peaceful place to spend an evening, then the Jehangir Kothari Parade should be at the top of your list.

One of the great #landmark of Karachi on the entrance of Bagh e Ibn E Qasim. The place is Accessibility-friendly and #Accessibile for everyone, Specially for the people who use ♿ wheelchairs. There is no entry fees for that place, and ideal location for photography. The place is remembrance of Mughal Era. #letsguide
