I'm not a Donaire expert but this apparently a true Halifax style Donaire, with the sweet + garlicky sauce. Prices are high! The meat and pita were great quality. Veg, meh. If you are not accustomed to this taste and are just a tourist wanting to try, maybe ask for half the sauce or sauce on the side. I found it delicious for the first two bites and then sickening sweet to the point I couldn't finish. Really overpowers all other tastes. Staff was lovely! Place was the most depressing atmosphere, but it is NOT dine in, so stick with delivery and you'll be fine.

I had a delicious lunch today! Very nice people work there, no waiting time, place is clean, donair was good and small size donair was way enough. The sauce is too sweet for me, but probably it is just me. Thank you!

First time trying their donair today. It was awesome, lots of meat and veggies. Super friendly owners. Next time I'm going to try it with the pepperoni and cheese.

Best donair my wife and I have ever had! We talked to the owners (father and son) who have only been open for five months. Their recipe for their meat and donair sauce was awesome! My wife and I both got a regular donair each, but mine was so good that I ordered a second one to eat before we left. Both father and son were both extremely nice and fun to talk with, and we were treated like old friends. When they found out that we were just traveling through, they took the time to offer a lot of ideas for us to see while in the area. It was a wonderful overall experience!

Had Donair Ave recommended to me from a co worker, was definitely not disappointed, I have had donairs from many provinces, this one was right up there with the best. Well worth the 20$ bill for a large donair and a pop. I hope to return in the future when I'm in town for work!

We enjoy the donairs and the staff. The regular donair is a hefty meal. Very tasty and satisfying, made to order.

I Love, my donair ,pizza delight is typically my go-to , but since today I had a donair Ave donaire and this will be my favorite donair of all time it was packed with donair meat with Pita bread and just enough sauce to give you great flavor but the meat was out of this world!!!!

The food is all that matters. These guys at Donair Ave definitely know what they're doing. Busy is a good sign and it's well worth the wait even during those stretches. Many thanks for the good service to go along with the best donair.

Donair was delicious, although found it quite expensive for two reg donairs with cheese came close to 30$ but they were awesome

First timer. Good Donaire. Not as good as KOD or Jockos. A little bit to much Sage. Good bang for the buck. Don't forget the pepperoni and cheese. Get extra sauce on the side.

Giving three stars as they where super nice and efficient for how busy they are but after the wait mine and my fathers donair where burnt all the way through and like I said there very nice and I’m assuming it’s because they where busy! Thinking of giving it one more go I would suggest it on a slower day maybe

Just had the quarter pound Donair for lunch fantastic flavor no grease drippings at all perfect but I did find the Donair sauce very very overpowering with garlic maybe next time I'll ask for a little less sauce .....Thumbs up I will be back
