I really liked the memorial sign to the Trinity-Petrovsky Cathedral. It was installed in 2020 on a fragment of the thunder stone (megalith, which became the basis for the pedestal of the Bronze Horseman). A nearby sign says that the Russian Empire was proclaimed here. In 1709, Peter I ordered the construction of the first church in St. Petersburg - the Trinity Cathedral. In this cathedral on October 22 (November 2), 1721, Tsar Peter Alekseevich was declared Peter the Great, Emperor of All Russia. The temple was lost in 1933.
