The staff on the front desk were really helpful - as we had very limited time, only one afternoon in Brussels, he gave us great advice on what to see. We stayed two nights and had to get to Ypres for one of the days and then onto the Eurostar the following day, so we needed to be very close to the station, it is just a couple of minutes walk down on the same street so very handily located. The room was clean and the bed comfy. A little small so if you want to stretch out, this may not be the place for you. Fine for us though, we would most definately stay here again if in Belgium. If you don't feel the need to get your room made up, a voucher was provided to spend on a snack or drink or breakfast, great to see, save the planet! Just a tip, the Italian restaurant next door is just wonderful!

We arrived very late and had to leave very early the next morning, but we had a great experience. The check-in staff were expecting us and checked us in very quickly. They were very helpful and friendly. We were in a downstairs room with a window out onto the courtyard and although the room was small, it had everything we needed, was extremely quiet, clean and the bed was comfortable. We had a great sleep. We would definitely stay there again and it is in a perfect location for the train station and Eurostar terminal.

It is a very nice place. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful, and the facilities are modern and comfortable. I have had a very good experience and I would repeat without hesitation!

Lovely clean room, friendly hotel staff and good breakfast. We had read reviews about the rooms being a bit small, the breakfast area being small - both true to an extent, but totally manageable, and we were actually pleasantly surprised by the size of our room, it was bigger than expected. It was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was simple but tasty. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Location is great close to the station, 1-2 minutes walking. Modern small lobby. The receptionist (female) was very unprofessional. She was on the phone like for more than 10 minutes while I was in front of her for checking in. She didn’t even apologise. Tiny comfy clean room. Bathroom was perfect in space. Worth the price

Stayed 3 Months ago. Re-publishing the review. The room is so tiny (you can't even walk without hitting yourself in the cot) and too expensive for this price range. They don't have a cooling system (even though they mentioned it on their website). Both nights, we stayed in scorching temperatures even though I turned the heater off. We couldn't sleep peacefully. The room has no air circulation. There is not even a single Power unit in the bathroom to use your trimmer/shaver or other devices. It is not enough for two people if you even have two bags. The receptionist enquire out of the blue about the room number when you pass by even though the same guy checked us in 3 hours ago. It feels strange as you are doing some illegal activity or smuggling. And my wife has to wait 45 mins to get an information while checking out. May be Indians are not welcomed in B&B Hotels. The one star is only for the location as it has access to Metro, Bus, Tram and International Connections.

Simple and straightforward hotel very close to the station, ideal if you have travel to other parts of Europe, but probably not the nicest area at night. The room was okay, but not a lot of room for luggage. Bathroom was good, the shower was easy to use. Personally found the bed a bit hard, and it was a bit warm even with the climate control on the lowest setting. But pretty good value overall.

Perfect location just 20 min walk from the historic grand place. 2 minutes from the train and bus station close to the amenities you looking for, is not bed and breakfast because if you don't book you breakfast you can pay 17 euros per person. I recommend go to time off just 2 seconds in the street and you will be have a great choice and full breakfast buffet with a wide choice of food for just 14 euros.. avoid the local bars they look dodgy.. better towards the center bars not problems and hassle. You have good local restaurants with good food and the quality of food in local supermarket is high and good for budget. The hotel is great and pleasant very clean and the boys in the reception are amazing.

This place is perfect for a short stay. Neat and tidy, close to the traino. Staff were friendly. The room was a little small and made packing and unpacking our cases a bit tricky. However if you're planning a business trip, this place is great 😃👍

Our room was in the basement, which meant we didn't have a great signal, but the hotel does provide WiFi, which was great. The lower floor was quiet. The room was clean with everything of good quality and well put together. The bed was comfortable but additional pillows would have been good, there was only 1 pillow each. Our room was very warm, while we tried to use in the in room temperature controls to cool down they didn't make any difference. The location is almost directly across from the station which was great for arrival and departure, there are shops and places to eat and drink nearby. As in a lot of cities the area wasn't the best, especially in the evening. I didn't feel too confident walking around, and if I'd been alone I think I would have returned earlier. During the couple of interactions I had with the staff, they were all very friendly and approachable. I would have no problem staying here again in the future

Stayed with friends in this hotel before the holidays (specially came to the Christmas market in the city center). We arrived a little earlier than the check-in time, but we were greeted very warmly and professionally and checked in right away, which gave us more time to explore the city and the fair. In general, the hotel staff is very friendly and courteous. The room is small, but quite comfortable and compact, clean and tidy. The location of the hotel is very convenient, near the station, the metro, the center is a 20-minute walk away. The only caveat was that the room the friends got was full of smoke, there was a very strong smell of nicotine. But in general, it's great, I recommend it!

The hotel boasts a prime location, just a 5-minute walk from Brussels Zuid, making it exceptionally convenient. My stay at this establishment was unplanned, prompted by the cancellation of my Eurostar journey. The staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and kind, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Noteworthy was their proactive approach to accommodating guests with early departures. Despite the usual Saturday breakfast start time of 7:00 AM, they graciously commenced service at 6:45 AM to cater to the needs of those, like myself, catching the first Eurostar service. This thoughtful gesture demonstrated their commitment to guest satisfaction and flexibility in ensuring a positive stay.

I wanted a hotel close to the Gare du Midi for our onward Eurostar connection to London the following day. The hotel was very nice, the man who greeted us on reception was very friendly and welcoming. The position of the hotel on the corner of a very busy road meant that it was impossible to have the windows open at night and we had a poor night's sleep. Maybe ask for a room away from the road. The breakfast room was very pleasant and the choice of breakfast items varied. However, the hotel's position to the rear of the railway station, meant that the area was very dodgy and our early evening walk to Grand Place felt uncomfortable and unsafe. Fine for a one night stay, but not an area to linger in.

Hotel is by the main train station and is walking distance to the main sites. The room is a decent size, lovely and clean with its own bathroom. The receptionists were welcoming and I would recommend staying at this hotel.

We found we could not adjust the air conditioning in our room, it was too hot. There was a control to adjust the temperature and fan speed but this did not seem to work. The shower is a walk in design but it has a short base with the result that the floor in the bathroom gets very wet when showering. Overall the stay was pleasant in an excellent location and the staff were great.

This hotel is so nice! Love the area and the room is really spacious and comfortable. Price is really reasonable and the area is so lively. We liked it so much we decided to stay longer! Shout out to Hussein at the front desk who was really friendly and professional. Super helpful with extending our booking, and gave us a surprise upgrade. Quentin also checked us in and out, and had the most welcoming and friendly attitude. Wonderful staff!

We stayed in this hotel for a short weekend trip. Overall, I liked it. Here is the details; - Cleanliness & Comfort: Room and lobby were pretty clean and tidy. - Noise Levels: When you close windows, it is quiet enough. If you open them, there is noise from neighborhood. - Location: It is very close to train station. Also, 15-20 min walking distance to many places. Only downside, neighborhood doesn't feel safe enough. - Service & Staff: They're really friendly, helpful and kind. - Value for Money: It's a good deal when you consider quality of accommodation, service and overall experience.

The location is convenient if you are arriving by train and not planning to spend lots of time in the hotel. Check in process was surprisingly slow and low-tech. When is the last time you had to sign papers that were printed out to check in?? Other than that, the place is fairly quiet and clean. Our family of 7 was split into 2 rooms as expected. But there is only 1 "family room" per floor so 4 of us were on 1F and 3 of us on 4F. Not a great arrangement.

I found the staff very friendly and accommodating. Rooms are small, but very clean. Hotel is conveniently across the street from the station. The rooms were uncomfortably warm however. Being able to open the window was helpful, but very noisy at night with lots of yelling and talking from seedy characters, so having an open window at night wasn’t possible.

Lovely hotel with ample rooms for a couple of nights. Excellent service. Breakfast was self service with a selection of pastries and a couple of hot items. Juice, coffee/tea, fruit available. Well located for Eurostar but area is quite rough.

Great location directly next to Brussels-Midi station and a quick walk into the city centre. Rooms were nice and despite there being no drink facilities in the room there was one at reception to use. Breakfast was also very nice

Super nice for a budget hotel. The location is near to Gare du Midi or Brussels South train station. Breakfast is not included, but water is available near reception desk. They also very nice, don't hesitate to store your luggage if needed. Otherwise, there's also a luggage storage at the train station Gare du Midi. Also, there's a city tax as additional charge. Either cash or card payment is accepted. In July 2023, it's 4,25 EUR per night.

  • 5/5 Rifki F. 9 months ago on Google
It's near to Gare du Midi. There's a city tax per night that should be paid with cash or card at check in time. Also, it's a very nice experience that we can store our luggage if we want to strolling around the city. That's a free charge, likewise the water refill station near the reception desk. Highly appreciated for travellers.

We stayed twice in this hotel (at the beginning and end of our vacation) and we loved it. The hotel is nice and cozy. The location is very convenient, it's 2 min away from a main train station. James was very welcoming and friendly. He also gave us a free upgrade. Highly recommended!

It’s the perfect location for a travelers while commuting in Europe via Brussels through train. Room was small but same as any other places you would find in Europe. It was clean and bathroom was also clean and very good. Thanks for making our short stay memorable in Brussels. Did not get any service however the staff was really friendly and welcoming. Other reviews says the same but I would highly recommend with the price they have compare to very expensive options put there.

  • 5/5 Lisa S. 9 months ago on Google
I would like to point out the friendly and guest-oriented staff who are always accommodating. Special thanks to James, who was welcoming and attentive to our requests, and resolved them brilliantly. The hotel is conveniently located near the train station, so there were no issues reaching the airport by train at 5 AM. It's a 15-minute walk to the city center. 😊🏨🚂✨

I would say the location is not the best. It is close to the train station at best. I would not feel comfortable walking around by myself. I could not find a safer route. Staff was good and helped us store our luggage until check-in is ready. The room is very small, I could barely fit my and my husband's luggage. The AC Is not strong so the room is a bit hot. There is only 1 elevator which can be a bit slow.

I emailed the hotel four times to confirm we needed a baby cot set up for when we arrived at 10:30pm - they replied every time confirming this was fine. When we arrived, there was no cot. They said we had a big bed that we could all sleep in - the bad was max a queen, with two pillows and air con that didn’t work (I see this mentioned in reviews below). There was a man who worked really hard to find us one about an hour after we arrived, which was great, but it was super late for a 2 year old who’s just travelled 4 hours. I would have brought my own cot if this was an issue, or booked somewhere else. The area was not great, however if it’s a quick stay to be near the train station, it’s good. The breakfast was average - not great for gluten free.

Really enjoyed my stay at B&B hotel, I had an early flight to Brussels, got to hotel around 11am and staff at reception was so welcoming, he managed to get my room straight away. Room is small but modern, bed is so comfy. I really recommend the hotel and definitely will stay again on my next visit to Brussels. Hotel is literally 2min from train and metro station…

  • 5/5 Mark 7 months ago on Google
The rooms are a bit small, but this is made up for by the simplicity, nice bathroom, and ease of check-in and out. This is what a traveler needs: minimal hassle. The lobby is also quite pleasant to just relax, plan, snack, and converse. Well done.

  • 4/5 Michele Ann J. 6 months ago on Google
Reasonable choice for a night when you have to be next to the train station. Clean, nice staff, 2 minutes from Midi station. Rooms are tiny, walls are very thin, and, as others have mentioned, the temperature controls don't really work so it's overheated.

A fantastic stay! Everything we needed was in walking distance! Top customer service. The rooms are very small but it's a comfortable mattress, good heating and clean bathroom. Would recommend

Small room but comfy. Clean and cleverly designed. The guys at the reception very nice and helpful. Location, to be honest I didn't like it. The area is very dirty with lots of rubbing and smells awful. Lots of drunken people on the street. The train station is 1" walking distance which is perfect for escaping.

The hotel is recently new,it's obvious. The location is great just opposite the Gare du Midi and the metro station. There is only 15 minutes walking away from/to the city centre. What I did not find good at all is that to unlock the room you should write a code-in the night it is really unconfortable at all. The rooms are pretty small and there is no wardrobe at all.

The heat was not working. They wanted to move us into another room but the other empty ones had the same issue. The toilet also had some issues. Other than that, the room was nice and clean and the staff willing to help.

Generally it was good. The place was clean, has a very good location to the train station. The smart tv wasn't really smart and couldn't really connect to any of the device, i believe it wasn't not connected to the WiFi. And the wifi was pretty slow. The rooms were simple, minimalist but ok. The breakfast too expensive for my taste and expectation of this place. The shower faucet was broken once, but the staff came immediately and made a temporary fix.

The hotel is in a really convenient place! Right opposite the main tram/train station which goes into the central. The place itself is really good, I would recommend it to people when visiting. The people at reception were nice and friendly. The room was nice and clean including the bathroom. Only thing for me as a personal preference was that it was two single beds put together to make a double, so they kept moving and there was no heater option on the air con bit which made it a little chilly but we didn’t spend too much time in the room anyway. Again, just a personal thing nothing i would complain or take a star away for. Also there’s a great restaurant right next to the hotel which I can’t recommend enough !

  • 5/5 Vandoir B. 1 year ago on Google
The hotel is very good (small rooms but just enough, with a comfortable bed). It is very close to the Midi Station. The shower was a little hard to handle and is kind of hard to not make a mess in the floor (there is not door in the shower area). I could not make the TV work as well.

Stayed here a couple of nights travelling through Brussels on the Eurostar. 5 stars for convenience of location to station and helpful, friendly staff. Plentiful breakfast and reasonable variety and quality. Rooms very clean and comfortable. On both stays I was told the room type I had booked well in advance was unavailable, although on the first occasion they managed to find one for me, and on both occasions we were still accommodated. On a main road so a bit of noise from outside, and the area around the station is not the best, but around a 15 minute walk to the old centre.

  • 4/5 Ben W. 1 year ago on Google
Nice hotel immediately next to Midi train station. The neighborhood around it isn't great but we didn't feel unsafe at all. We were taking an early AM train so we picked this location to be close to the station. Convenience store about half a block down to pick up snacks/drinks. Rooms are small but get the job done well. AC didn't work in the room we initially had but the staff were very quick and friendly about assigning us to a different one. Wifi worked good and TV had lots of channels. Overall great experience and would stay again.

  • 5/5 Szymon K. 1 year ago on Google
Very comfortable room. There’s everything you need and even TV with chrome cast. Service is really nice and rooms are cleaned every day (towels are changed every day and they make sure you have a supply of toilet paper). People at the reception are extremely nice and professional. We had a hotel breakfast one day and it’s pretty good value for money - there’s coffee, numerous types of buns, croissants, ham, cheese and a lot of bread spreads. Highly recommend. it’s worth mentioning that the location is amazing. it’s next to Midi train station where trains and buses from CRL airports arrive to Brussels as well as good connection via metro to the rest of the city and within walking distance to the City centre. The only disadvantage I can think of is the shower that’s a bit small and without doors or curtain so it’s pretty impossible not to spread water on the bathroom floor.

Pleasant friendly staff and good breakfast. Very close to the gare du Midi with is in a slightly seedy area. 20 minutes walk to centre. Rooms small but bright and comfortable. Shower tends to flood bathroom unless used with care

  • 4/5 Yvonne Van D. 1 year ago on Google
Rooms and bathroom are on the smaller side but comfortable. Bonus- TV has chrome cast which allowed us to sync to our ipad and watch Netflix, etc. Front desk staff are friendly and helpful. Very close to the Brussels midi station which has its pros and cons... great for travel by train or tram but area is a bit sketchy so be diligent and aware of your surroundings. However we had no issues with anyone.

  • 4/5 Angus D. 1 year ago on Google
The price and location of this hotel was the main appeal - it's literally across the street from Gare du Midi, the busiest railway hub in Brussels and direct access for Eurostar. Consequently the immediately area is busy - day and night. Breakfast was, on the whole, good - cooked food as well as cold choices. Service always professional. Rooms clean with daily cleaning and beds of quality. What was not so good was the size of our room - it was compact to put it mildly. No sooner had we unpacked we realised that there was little space to place anything. Finally the air con was functional but not able to totally cool the room unless on full power. And as a side note: the hotel could not access TV channels - was told each day that the technician was arriving to repair.

Pretty convenient location. As the public transport was across the road Disliked · Too small rooms. Asked for refilling the soap in bathroom, but no one came. Shower was broken but was repaired next day. Breakfast is just ok, nothing much in the menu.

Context: Solo traveller for vacation + a bit of work stuff. I needed a place that wasn’t too expensive but still private and quiet so I can make work calls / do some work on my down time. Front desk very helpful. Room was simple but shower had issues and TV chrome cast did not work. The walls are pretty good and blocked most sounds from the streets of Brussels. Very easy and short walk to a central station. Also very close to the bus stop for bus service to Charleroi airport where I was leaving from. Very happy with my stay. If I return to Brussels I would stay here again.

The staff at the front desk were very helpful when checking in. James was particularly attentive to the needs of my pregnant wife. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Perfect for if you are spending the day exploring and just need somewhere nice to return to.

Absolutely loved my stay here! I got there around 10am and luckily they had this room available for me! It was on the 7th floor and the elevators weren’t working so that was a little hike but they had it fixed quickly. Everything else was perfect! I didn’t even know Brussels had a Ferris wheel until I looked out of my room. That was a short commute and totally worth the money for the views of the city! Literally across the street from the train station if you are needing to catch one in the morning like I did. Highly recommend this hotel.

Booked last minute due to a missed Eurostar and was incredibly satisfied with this hotel! The room was comfortable (if small for two people) and perfect for a city break/stop after travel. The bathroom was clean with an amazing shower. The lady at reception was lovely and incredibly helpful. Overall, we were extremely satisfied with this hotel and were left feeling refreshed and ready for the second leg of our trip.

I had a room on top floor, quiet and all clean. The original room was to the main road. Thank you that I could change the room.

My stay at this hotel was very good. I arrived before check-in time and the lady at reception still let me settle into the room - this was very, very positive, as I had more time to explore the city. On the last day, the elevator was not working but the receptionist offered us water from the minibar to compensate for this unavailability. Overall, it was a great and affordable experience. I really recommend staying at this hotel if it's your first time in Brussels and you want to explore the city on foot. The hotel is not in the city center but it is very easy to get there (on foot) in 15/20 minutes.

Over all we are very satisfied with the stay. For people without car the location is perfect /across the street is Midi Station /. The room was a bit small. The reseptionist was extremely polite and helpful. There was a coffee, tea and water compliments. The luggage storage was a very convenient. I would visit again.
