The waterfall is accessible by car but there isn't much of parking places, you may want to go during the week days if you want to reach the waterfall with your car easily. Also, the route becomes narrow as you approach the location, make sure you use your honk to warn others drivers coming in front.

Amazing waterfall, probably the nicest on the island. You'll get there by car but be careful the last 10 minutes are quite tricky and can be dangerous with multiple hairpins on very steep roads. At the top, there are not many spots to park and it gets crowded on the weekends. It isn't recommended to swim directly at the waterfall but go a little further down where it's a bit calmer and you'll be fine! Highly recommended!

One of the most beautiful waterfalls on Réunion Island and very easy to reach (The lookout is right next to a narrow and curvy road). There is no admission fee, so it can get busy on holidays and weekends. If you are adventurous enough, some companies in the area offer rappelling tours.

Cascade de Grand Galet, also known as Grand Galet Falls or Langevin Falls, is a popular natural attraction on Réunion Island, located in the commune of Saint-Joseph within Réunion National Park. This picturesque waterfall, surrounded by lush greenery and fruit trees, is a favored spot for swimming and picnicking, particularly on weekends and holidays. Its natural pool, combined with opportunities for canyoning and fishing nearby, makes it a prime destination for nature enthusiasts and adventure seekers

Totally underrated, how does no one know this place. If this would be in Europe or America, it'd be overrun by tourists. When I was there, only a couple others were there, but no tour buses, no entry fee, no tons of yelling people. The waterfalls and bassin are like a paradise. One of the most scenic waterfalls out there

Gorgeous waterfall with amazingly clear blue water. Must drive up 22-gradient hills to reach! And only a few parking spots.

Nice place to see if staying around St. Pierre. Drive up was pretty steep and narrow. Area was quite busy overall.

PERFECT!!! Yet another crazy scenic drive to this amazing waterfall. I am used to waterfalls happening when rivers fall over cliffs. Here, like so many other places in Reunion, the water spurts out from cracks in the rock face. How it works I don't know. I just know that it is VERY impressive. There must have been at least 14 waterfalls all ending in the same pool. Our resident engineer estimated the height at 80m! There are little hamlets intermitted on either side of the road up to the waterfall. At the bottom, where you start climbing, the road is next to a river with pretty picnic spots. Worth the stop if the weather is good.

Stunningly beautiful and worth visiting. Can drive and park nearby. Jumping and swimming opportunities closely (a couple of minutes walk downriver).

A charming and magical waterfall a few miles up from the main road. Some of the driving is really rather steep but we managed it in our standard sized car. For a special extra, walk up past the waterfall zigzagging up and view the falls from a different angle. There is a little village up there but without any amenities which I would love to have a holiday home in!

Beautiful waterfalls with a pool of absolutely gorgeous colour. Make sure to arrive early in the morning as parking is an issue. Also it is almost impossible to swim in the pool by the waterfall- you can (if you ignore the warning signs as everyone does), but only if you have a good hiking shoes and if you are willing to climb several boulders and steep trail. We decided to go a little down to smaller stream that was easily accessible. It was on the lover parking lot…

👍👍 Nice little shop inland by the mountains. They'll play a short explanatory home-made video for you (English available) in which they describe the products they sell. If you want a proper visit of the farm though, you'll need to book a tour in advance, which are quite pricey but include meals. Overal...

👍👍 My favorite waterfall yet. You can come by two roads: the lowest level of the bridge and the easiest, if not earlier (after tight corners leading to Langevin) but difficult to identify and then to perform. I advise the lower one. Walking access is easy and pretty. Once at the waterfall there is a s...
