The waiter/owner it’s the most rude person. Almost empty, past dinner time and didn’t want us to sit for drinks, telling us “pas de dîner, pas de table” and asked my wife and my daughters to leave. No one after two weeks traveling across France treated us like this.

Horrible people. Even though many tables where empty insisted they were full. Didn't even let a 3 year old use the bathroom

Highly recommend this lovely restaurant in Saintes. Delicious and beautifully presented dishes. The smoked duck salad with figs was amazing. We tried a Basque red wine and it went very well with both the lamb and loin of pork. A very enjoyable evening.

very positive experience from one end to the other, they really give attention to all details starting with how we were welcomed (our dog immediately received a bowl of water... with ice cubes in it !!!...and we didn't even ask for water...) continuing with the kids menu (which sounded and tasted like gourmet food) and last but not least our food which looked really well and tasted even better. thank you and congrats for this culture of things well done that you managed to build in your restaurant!

Good cuisine there, with fresh products. You may even order to the chef a "lievre a la royale". Wines and spirits are great. Lovely place.

This was a real treat - one of the best meals I've had. More expensive than we planned to pay en route on a Sunday night, but worth every penny. A memorable coffee and champignon starter -yes_ and very fine desserts were highlights. And the wine an extraordinary cépage from the Ardèche . And nice people!

Really lovely food and wine. Food is a good price. They didn't tell us the price of drinks and they were quite a lot. Lovely people and welcomed the dogs.

Foods were good enough . Especially creme brûlée was excellent! However the behaviour of the waitress or the owner (I am not sure ) was really irritating. No smile, not trying to making any conversation. He was looking at your face like “ tell me what you wanna eat. Just eat and get out of here!” Also even when we tried our best French he was absolutely irritating person ever , not trying to help us to choose smth on the menu. Ahah what a nightmare! But luckily foods were delicious. This is not to cooking for people, okay? It is not about the taste of the food , to eating is something more than delicious foods. Hope your cuisine can get this hospitality as soon. ( come on even in 2023!!??) I ll put a cute simple nice and easy smile here just to giving advice for your restaurant. Maybe you can take it personal and use this smile to your guests. 🙂 Especially for foreign people, they are not monsters because they can not speak your language. Thank you for delicious meals, pretty disappointed with your behaviour.
