Thailand
a
place
that
you
can
find
the
unexpected
in
most
corners.
Out
of
the
blue
in
this
bustling
part
of
chaotic
urbanism,
a
mix
of
housing,
small
businesses
and
lots
of
untidy
overhanging
cables
waiting
to
kill
you,
you
find
this
oasis
of
a
restaurant
café
that
features
deer.
I
tried
to
order
fresh
deer
meat
in
black
pepper,
my
order
was
rejected.
The
deer
is
a
feature
of
the
place
and
people
come
to
do
instammable
things
with
them
domesticated
wildlife.
I
was
there
during
the
afternoon
and
they
were
in
cages.
Maybe
it
was
too
hot
in
the
day
for
them
to
roam
around.
Maybe
there
is
a
timetable
in
which
they
adhere
to
and
are
allowed
to
roam
the
gardens,
I
am
not
sure.
I
was
there
for
lunch
on
a
weekend.
We
had
spaghetti,
pan
fried
chicken
rice
noodles,
fried
rice
and
some
crispy
wonton
thing.
The
food
was
good,
taste
and
all
were
there,
but
did
not
warrant
an
ultimate
delicious
breakthrough
scoring.
It
was
very
crowded,
popular
with
families
with
kids.
So,
it
was
tranquil
killing.
You
get
noisy
kids
running
all
over
and
I
felt
like
catching
those
naughty
ones
and
showing
them
up
the
deer.
I
could
tell
that
probably
during
weekdays,
this
place
serves
as
a
conducive
working
café.
They
have
a
long
table
well
equipped
with
electrical
sockets.
There
likely
will
be
students
from
the
nearby
university
sitting
out
the
hot
afternoon
in
their
own
little
circles
of
discussion
and
schoolwork.
The
place
is
big,
has
several
different
sections
of
distinctively
styled
sitting.
From
indoors
to
outdoors,
to
that
al
fresco
low
sitting
zone
by
the
deer
and
railway.
Occasionally,
you
get
to
see
trains
passing
by.
And
if
train
runs
over
deer,
I
think
I
can
order
fresh
deer
meat
in
black
pepper.
It
was
a
nice
afternoon
we
had.
