Great park for dog walking. So many dogs and huge open areas. Some enclosed to let them run free. Great group of people at the “golf park”. Got some lovely pictures from there. And great selection of sticks.

A lovely park, often has events happening at the hall. There is a kids play area, dog park, basketball courts, tennis court, football court (all free) and flat surface walks all around.

Beautiful Park. Lovely tree lined paths to follow and explore the park. Very peaceful clean and lots of open space.Great access for disabled people, however as it is built on a hill, some people with poor mobility may struggle at times. Ice cream Van's visit regularly too. There is a function room and cafe which I think is now open. You will need to check the opening hours though.Buile Hall is due to be renovated and should be a great place to visit once it has been finished. A great place for families and everyone. Recommended.

Nice park, with interesting history and good for kids. Quite large too but so much more potential here. Hoping the old glasshouse can be restored.

Absolutely beautiful & much needed green space. It was a gorgeous crisp sunny day when I went there for a walk. It is such a shame there aren't the funds available to restore the house & grounds especially the huge glass house that is still standing before they are lost forever & disappear as do most of our historic buildings. Can someone save it before it's to late..

Build Hill is a lovely local park. Lots of different paths and places for children to play. Big enough to avoid being too near to others too.

A little bit of countryside in the middle of an urban area, a bus ride from Manchester city centre, this park has a good history it's just a pity that the house has not been put to better use since closing as the mining museum

  • 5/5 Mel H. 3 years ago on Google
A beautiful and safe park to walk around with the dog and kids. Especially in Summer for a picnic. There's also a place in the centre to let the dogs off the lead as well without fear of losing them as it is all fenced off. You do however get the occasion muppets whizzing through on Motorbikes or setting fireworks off every now and again. It is still Salford after all.

Fantastic little play area and a grass area to play ball or have a picnic. Great to see a birds nest swing they are brilliant for a child with disabilities. That would be my only negative point the lack of disability equipment but that’s the same with most parks

  • 1/5 Ieva S. 4 years ago on Google
Although playground equipment was quote good, but my son stepped in a dog poo and got his trousers all dirty. Even there is "no dogs" sign, people walk their dogs and don't clean after them! 😠 Also too close too busy roads, so air quality isn't very healthy.

Fantastic park,no accessible toilets though. The Hall offered fantastic food and drinks in July but that's stopped now which is such a shame. There is a fantastic group of people who are restoring the sensory garden next to the mansion.

Dog owners have spoilt the park either with dog litter or stray dogs moving around freely almost everywhere within the park. This is disgusting. It's not everyone that likes dogs, besides there're designated areas for dog owners. I think the council has to step in and do something about it.

I've lived in Salford most of my life, and although I have been to this park a few times, I didn't realise there was so much going on. The section I visited today was managed by Mark Frith, and he was telling me about getting involved with the local community and sharing his knowledge with regards to plants, shrubs, growing vegetables, and fruits. It's a place you need to visit and maybe even volunteer.

Buile Hill Park is a big park in Salford. It is closed to the A6 and M602 and provided several free paring spaces. There is a hall available to hire for events (not free). Tennis courts and children playgrounds are also available. Dogs are welcome as well. You will be able to watch brilliant fireworks in Bonfire Night.

I'm local and a regular visitor. I follow with interest and support the work of the award winning Buile Hill Mansion Association who not only have been instrumental in getting the mansion restored ( renovation is underway) ,But also have put on some excellent family events in the wider park, created and funded a sculpture trail and have more projects to come.

Lovely park in Salford. Can see the sunset nicely and have great long walks. Nice playing courts for basketball. Only downside is there are no lights for when it turns dark especially for winter times

Such a good park, the tennis courts have just been revamped, there's also x2 basket ball courts too. The park caters for young children and older children with decent climbing frames, swings & slides. There's also a small outdoor gym. It's such a big park to walk around. I used to do a lot of running and stair climbing when I was younger here. They also have a venue which is beautiful inside, and has a private garden area if you want to hire for a birthday/weddings etc.

One of my favourite parks in Manchester. Nice to have long walks around. The play area is great. There are loads of options for the kids. My daughters love the sandpit and multiple swings and slides. It would be great if they could add public restrooms for when the children need the toilet though as there’s nowhere to go nearby.

  • 4/5 Trisha D. 8 months ago on Google
Lovely park and grounds. Deceptively nice function room on site. Parking around the venue is available. I attended a funeral here. It was catered for by the venue. Finger food was good and to an excellent standard.

One of the best parks in Salford, Manchester. its vibrant and you can take a walk in the Morning or late afternoon. You can bring your pets or kids and sit on the park benches. During sunny winter days you can see Squirrels and different birds all around the park. During late evening you can enjoy the silence and get lost in your thoughts. Best place to be all by yourself
