We stayed here for 1 night. Pleasantly surprised. Beds were comfortable, showers are hot, we didn't bring our dogs but it's set up like a pet hotel. Good to know for future stays. The fire pit was nice to relax by at the end of the day. We didn't swim but the pool and hottub area was nice. I'm picky about my coffee. They brew coffee from a local coffee house. It's really good. Staff was friendly and attentive. Overall this was an affordable great experience. Thanks for letting us stay here. We will be back for sure

Such a beautiful place to stay. They had comfortable beds, a really nice outdoor hot tub, free breakfast, beautiful areas to sit outside and people watch or enjoy the scenery. The fact I was able to bring my dog and only charged $30 for the entire stay was amazing! No other place is this affordable and includes dogs too! Will definitely come back to this lodge when visiting Salida :)

I really loved this hotel. Not only was it a dog friendly place, it was after a dog named Duke. I love the view. Nice clean rooms. Great employees. I loved the breakfast it was absolutely delicious and plenty to pick from. I loved the location and walking distance to things down the street. Thank you for making my stay wonderful experience.

Clean, spacious enough for our family of five - we booked the room for 6. Hot showers. Beautiful mountain view. Sadly, we didn’t have time to use the hot tubs. Close to restaurants. About 15 minutes walk to downtown. Great coffee all day long! Breakfast was a bonus! Happy to know it’s dog- friendly - but the downfall was the amount of dog hair on the sofa, which we covered with a fitted bedsheet before we sat on it.

Don’t stay here expecting to enjoy much of their offerings. They won’t let you check in until 4pm. The pool and hot tub closes at 9pm and doesn’t open until 9am. Not that you’ll have time to soak in the morning anyway because checkout is at 10am. If you want to enjoy anymore than a bed, go somewhere that gives you the time to do so. Other hotels in town will let you check in at 1 or 2 and will gladly let you stay until noon with a late checkout so you can enjoy the amenities and the town. I’d highly recommend the motel next door instead. If the sub 16 hour rental doesn’t bother you, the rooms are very clean and cute.

Definitely one of my favorite places to stay on my frequent trips to Denver! I really prefer motels because of accessibility and its very hit or miss. This place is affordable, clean, well maintained with rooms that are a little spacier than your typical motel room. it was easy to get a wheelchair in and out with room to move inside. The trash can was decently sized (sounds stupid but i hate those tiny trash cans that are usually provided) pool is nice with an indoor hot tub and 2 (I think) outdoor hot tubs. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Staff is friendly and helpful. Dog friendly (i dont bring my dogs, but it was fun to see so many pups wandering around!) The views are nice and there is a skate park and hot springs right across the road! Breakfast is simple but good with lots of outdoor seating plus a comfy couch in the lobby. I will definitely continue to stay here when passing through! Pool is not accessible as far as i could see, but wasn't an issue for us. There are some rooms that are a little easier to get to with a wheelchair than others. Oh! And the coffee was really good too!

OK, so I'm super disappointed in MYSELF for not getting any pictures of this cute place. I have stayed in Salida a number of times. Some great, some very bad, so you kind of never know what you are getting. This place was surprisingly great! My bed was very comfortable and I slept like a baby! Our room was clean and spacious. The bathroom was fine and had complimentary shampoo, conditioner and body wash. It has the basic amenities needed for a quick nights stay and their complimentary breakfast was small, but efficient with a nice little variety of breakfast foods. The outdoor area is cute with a couple of firepits and nice views of the mountains. They have an indoor pool and hot tub and two outdoor hot tubs. We didn't use them by the time we got in, but we did walk through and check them out. Everything seemed clean. I would definitely recommend this cute lodge and would stay again. Thanks for the great experience!

Great clean place to stay with a heated pool and two hot tubs. There is also a fire pit and barbecues if you want to use them. Walking distance from a good taco restaurant and within 1 mile from all the best restaurants in the town

We stayed here on a whim because we didn’t want to drive all the way home. From the minute we checked in to the minute we left we were so well taken care of! Matt at the front desk was so thoughtful and helped us check in early to accommodate our kids’ naps. The pool was convenient (yet a little cold) and the room was comfortable. Taking away one point because of some VERY noisy upstairs neighbors who kept the kids up - but it’s an old structure and we weren’t surprised. Overall, it was a delightful stay and when we’re back in Salida we won’t stay anywhere else. We’ll just ask for the top floor next time :) Thanks again Matt for thinking of everything, two steps ahead of anyone asking.

This place is sweet! Great service and very clean rooms. A few sheets and towels had stains but other than that everything was perfect. Great views of the mountains, incredible breakfast for a motel, and close to cool places to walk to in town. Cannot recommend this place enough!

This place and the rooms are very clean. You can tell that the owners and staff care about this place. I definitely would choose this place over most average big chain motels. Nice and quiet too which is very important when you are staying after a long day of driving, especially when its a bad drivers on road day. It's one of the very few places with outside room entrances that I have stayed at. Most of the time I avoid that but this place comes off as a nice, safe and quiet place that's family friendly and it is.

Me and my friend LOVE this hotel. I have never been somewhere so welcoming and kind. I accidentally booked the wrong room and the employee Mat figured everything out and gave us exactly what we wanted, meeting way more than our expectations. We remember him from a previous visit and both times he was MORE than fantastic. He was the sweetest most welcoming person and that truly is the feeling of the entire hotel. Would 100% recommend this place… the view of the mountains is also amazing!!!

The staff is SO sweet!! Lovely clean rooms with big nice tubs. And they have an indoor pool and hot tub. The price was so reasonable. If you're staying in Salida you should stay here!

Easy, clean, comfortable rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. Morning coffee was tragic but if you put a few more grains in the pot it should do the trick 😀
