This was the worst experience ever at a Bout Time or restaurant. After waiting 20 minutes to get service we asked the waitress, Lexi, to put one of the TVs on the football game. She rolled her eyes at us and told us she was "the only one" there. She still didn't bring us our drinks. We left. Worst customer service. With prices of everything going up, do you really want terrible service? Please, go somewhere else and be treated with respect and dignity.

By far my favorite place to go! I love my bartender Gavin 🥰 and the food is always made perfectly. If I want sports or some good fun I'm here! I ordered a turkey 🥑 sandwich so delicious with sprouts and cucumber. The jalapeño stuffed poppers are thee best 👌🏽 pure mouth heaven! ❤

My wife and I stopped in here while waiting for check in time at our hotel. We decided to get a couple of beers and snacks. I ordered a Sam Adams Boston Lager and the Philly Cheesesteak Egg Rolls and the Grand Slam deep fried basket platter. The server didn't seem to want to be at work today. He's probably hung over from a night of drinking White Claw's and cheap whiskey. Anyways, the atmosphere is like a sports bar - 60's and 70's hits playing on the sound system. On a Wednesday, this place is not very busy. The cheesesteak egg rolls were absolutely fantastic. And the Grand Slam was pretty good, too. All in all, this was a decent dining experience for 2 people who didn't want to get too full.

We come here often before events at Vivint. After tonight we will never go to this location again. We waited two hours and didn't get our entrees and had to leave so we didn't miss our show. We got appetizers and water after the first 45 minutes. The manager didn't apologize or give an explanation for the delay. He comped the food we didn't get....and was a jerk about the whole thing. We left upset and hungry and missed an opening band that we'd wanted to see. If he'd offered any apology or explanation it would have gone a long way. But instead they lost six customers permanently.

The one star is for our server. She was awesome. Everything else was horrible. We were there two hours and most of our food never came. We should've known when the table next to us got their food comped for taking so long. They supposedly comped the food that didn't come, but we never saw a bill to know for sure, but it seemed like a high bill for what we got. It made us late for a concert and we missed the opening band completely. The manager was rude about the whole thing. We've been here several times before, but we will never be back to this location.

Been to this location a couple times now and every time my experience just gets better and glad I get Selah as my server/bartender. If your ever in the area come in and ask for him I promise you won’t be disappointed!! Thank you Selah for a great experience every time.

PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR TAB! Unless you want to pay to get robbed and have mediocre food, STAY AWAY! This place will literally rob you blind and hope you don’t ask for a receipt to check it. I ordered 2 cocktails ($7 each), a shot ($7) and fried pickles. Imagine my surprise when they come over telling me my bill is $43. I was very surprised but just paid it and requested a receipt. It’s a good thing my friend and I both got receipts bc they added a drink to my ticket, and they were adding $2-$4 flavoring shots to both of our tickets that we never ordered. When i brought this to their attention and pointed out that the menu said my drinks were $7 and they were rung up as $7 + $2-$4 per drink in flavoring shots, they were like “oh I think we updated prices and haven’t put out new menu’s” I’m still not understanding how that correlates to adding flavoring shots to increase the price. I had to be like “so ? Are you going to fix that because we ordered what was on the menu and it says this price, that’s false advertisement” and he was like “uhhh i don’t know how to fix it after closing the check” They ended up giving me my $12 back and my friend was so over it she didn’t care to stick around and see how much her ticket was off. Service was so slow, and when I had gotten there staff was SO rude to someone who walked in behind me with an outside drink

There was no cocktail menu and I said surprise me on the drink and my friend ordered a Bloody Mary. The Bloody Mary was above and beyond and the drink Selah gave me was fantastic. Honestly, Selah provided the best service I have had in a long time and was so attentive to his tables. 12/10 experience

Never in my life did I think I would be so discriminated against and profiled by an establishment like this. I came here with a couple female friends on New Years Eve (while waiting for the rest of our group) we were kicked out by what I am assuming was the shift manager FOR NO REASON. We had just sat down and within 10 minutes of us telling our server we needed a minute to figure out what we wanted to drink, a different person who was not our server came up to our table and rudely told us we had to leave. I have been a paying customer for years, I have never disrespected this facility nor any server or bartender here to be treated like this. When I asked why he said because a server was intimidated by us. And I quote “I don’t know the situation but you have to leave” I hadn’t had a single drink or said a single word to anybody here aside from telling my server “we’ll take a sec to look at the menu, thank you.” Mind you I am not familiar with nor do I know any of the staff here personally. I was disrespected, humiliated and called out my name by the manager who told us to leave. We didn’t argue, we calmly left even tho we were all very confused on why we were being kicked out. I called the following day to speak to a general manager in hopes to right this wrong and was told I would be contacted by them and never received any call or message. I would not recommend any young colored male or female to come here as you may also be discriminated against and kicked out for no apparent reason! There is a new bar right up the street called The Break that gave our whole group the best service we could ask for on new years, and don’t seem to be prejudice whatsoever!

Brittany was the best server! If I owned a restaurant/bar, I’d want every one of my servers to be like her. She was fun, energetic and engaged well with our group of 10. We ended up buying a lot more drinks because she was so awesome. We even talked her into going to a comedy show with us after dinner.

By far my favorite bar. Russ and Gavin are the best bartenders. Sad to see the pride flag was taken down, because I feel that it promotes love and acceptance of all customers.. when will it be back?

We stopped in for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. The place has a sports bar vibe, and was busy but not slammed. Table service was very good and the food was EXCELLENT. As we are elderly the music was a bit loud and not quite our style. Otherwise 5 stars

Came in on a weekday for lunch and they had $9.00 French deep and don't charge for soda on lunch. Great price for good amount of food and delicious.

Great atmosphere. Good food and good prices. Best fry sauce in Salt Lake in my opinion. Loved the Monte Cristo also. Good local brew.

It’s always a great time here, and the staff are always so sweet! The food also makes your soul feel warm and happy. Can’t get enough! I noticed that a pride flag used to be up, I know it may sound silly, but it made me feel safe. I wonder what was the reason for it being gone now? :(

This bartender takes my drink order from the bar after waiting 20 minutes. They void my payment- doesn’t want to make my drinks or take it out to the patio. Because they thought “I didn’t tip.” If the bartender was smart enough they’d get tipped in cash when they brought me out our drinks from another friend. Terrible service. Would not recommend getting served by these idiots

We love going to this particular Bout Time location. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. Especially Lexi the bartender. She was very sweet and attentive. She had the best drink recommendations and always made sure to check back on us in a timely manner. Thank you so much Lexi!! By far the BEST BARTENDER in Salt Lake City!! We will most definitely be back.

We love the food and drinks here. The employees here are working hard, so don't get it wrong, I just recommend coming here when it's not as busy. The food is delicious and the employees awesome but more than once, when rather busy, we have been skipped over and tables way after us have gotten served first so try and get a good table, maybe come when less busy and you'll have a good experience.

I always have a great experience- however I go to this bar because they have a pride flag representing the queer community inside- which always just helped me to know that it was a safe space being a sports bar. Going in today and not seeing it made me sad. The flag was a simple indicator that the bar was a safe space. I was really sad to see it taken down. Tanner was an amazing bar tender- so we’re the rest of the staff.

Horrible experience, they take the Puerto Rico ID everywhere in the city except in this sad looking bar. The bartender didn’t try to talk to us, she was rude and just kicked us out. Worked out in our favor, we ended up in Lake Effect where is way more better.
