Amazing restaurant: beautiful location, very very delicious food, great ambiance and service, lovely views (you can sit indoors and outdoors) both during the day and night. Overall left very happy and definitely recommend.

Great food, incredible view! On sunny days you can see across the bay as much you can spot fishes coming close to the surface. The see food are the real dishes. Shrimps and lobsters are cooked to perfection. The octopus was a bit overcooked. The desserts were defrosted and the pasta was already cooked - only reheated. The seasoning of all dishes was really good. The wine selection is limited and lacks personality.

Although most of the food was good, lobster had a taste of ammonia, we asked for another it was the same thing so we could not eat it. Since the dish was $450 reals, you would expect the food to be at least fresh. They apologized for this, but when the bill came, it was about $900 in total for three people, they automatically included the service and did not offer any discount for the rotten lobster. Rotten food and bad service all i can say about this restaurant.

We were told to wait 40 minutes for a table, and we ended up waiting one hour and twenty-five minutes. When we finally got sitted, the food took another hour to come, and it wasn't tasty at all. I ordered the Risotto laboster, which was salty, and my son had a new dish Carbonara, and it was tasteless. What disappointing dinner and what a waste of time. Never coming back nor recommending this restaurant to anyone.

A very nice setting at a marina, on the water. Appetizers were delicious, casquinha de Siri, and bruschetta. Drinks very refreshing. Great service and atmosphere outside on a deck.

This was an elegant restaurant located in the picturesque Salvador marina district that serves delicious Italian cuisine. The service staff was courteous and professional. There was ample garage parking close by. This is a wonderful place for a family or couple to enjoy a nice meal.

Restaurante Lafayette is located inside a marina, and the place itself is a sight for sore eyes. Which also means you will be paying more for the experience at Lafayette. The dishes as expensive indeed, so I would recommend this place for special occasions, as you will be enjoying not only their dishes and but, but also the view of the sea (for those who enjoy an appealing Instagram photo, that is quite a spot). The staff is very polite, and very friendly, and after taking your orders, they will make sure everyone´s orders have been noted correctly. We were in a big group, so that was quite necessary to avoid missing or wrong plates. All meals were praised by our group, and meat lovers were very vocal about how nice their dishes were. I myself had a salada, and it was quite a delight (the price not as much ;D ). But we all enjoyed saying good bye to gorgeous Salvador in Lafayette, and would go back again to try other dishes and desserts.

Very good seafood restaurant, i think the seafood quality here is the best in Salvador, mix do mar is perfect, lobster and salmon are very fresh, and the port view is amazing, service is great too, price matches the value.

Very, very good mostly seafood restaurant. Meat selections also outstanding. Excellent service, quality, atmosphere. Incredible view of the bay. Family friendly. Amazing drinks, very cold beer. Will definitely recommend to friends when visiting Salvador. Nota 10!!!!

The food is excellent as is the atmosphere of the restaurante. The atum was phenomenal, a pity for the camarao that came with it. Ask for them grilled they are much better. I would say the staff is nothing special, could be much nicer.

Great view of the yacht club. Attentive service, and Great lemon/parmesan risotto.

Amazing food, professional and quality. Would recommend anyone. Price is little higher but for good service roughly around £40 for starter and two main course & drinks so not bad for tourists.

Love the setting and the atmosphere. Service is top of the line. Food is good, but not everything is amazing as one would expect. Crab was bland, meat rolls very tasty, octopus "meh" and tuna delicious. Must try at least once!
