It has been 12 years since my last visit here. I can see the place has progressively change positively. Everywhere is organic here and the dessert especially kanom tuay is super good. Must try item at 12 THB per piece. If you are not worried about the weight, take 6 pieces and you will be very happy! The place is about 30 km from Bangkok and there are many attractions from this place.

Good old-style hotel. There is no 24 hrs front desk. Some staff are very good but others are lacking in passion. Water flow poorly in my bathroom shower. Breakfast is good but very limited. I think it should be set menu if they can't provide buffet as it should be. Some counter are empty because, as staff said, there are too little guest rooms..... I give 4 stars because hotel has a lot of facilities and activities to do and room price is not expensive.

If you're looking for a great place to stay with ecological interest, this is the place to go. Sure it's a bit far from Bangkok but its worth it. Good room, great food, friendly staff members, and such a nice place. They have many activities you can try. Currently looking forward to the farmers market in the weekend. The sustainable business model they implement here is great. Organic food and sustainable farming practices that involves local farmers is a plus. Very satisfied

It’s not a dislike, just that there isn’t anything to do here apart from think in your own brain. I wouldn’t pay the coffee shop prices, it’s more expensive than central London, which makes me wonder if the place is legit 😵‍💫😬🤐. I wish them success. For children it could be a nice excursion if they want to learn about Thai heritage, culture and crafts, what they learn I think they could just ask a mother or grandma and try together for a more enjoyable experience.

Beautiful location and grounds. Magnificent lobby and common rooms. This is not a 90s glitz and glamour place, it's a solid, traditional hotel with history and class in the style of The Peninsula or The Oriental. The bedrooms are large and airy and furnished in hardwood and have all the usual amenities. 2 beautiful restaurants serve delicious food that is mainly organically produced on their own farms across the river. To sit and watch the huge islands of water hyacinth float by at dawn or dusk is inspiring. Or explore the grounds around the lake and Chinese pavilion so well tended and beautiful. But the most special thing about this stunning hotel is the staff: efficient, yet warm and friendly, but courteous and polite. They add the real family feel to this gorgeous and well-run hotel.

Good for natural retreat at weekend when spent 1 or 2 night at Thai house .Then enjoy traditional flea market in the morning. Talad sukjai was locally farmer and garden farm that sold only organic at the sound price. Everything is growing fresh suitable for healthy cuisine. The resort also has variety of activities that you can join with special discount when check-in. Also never miss BBQ dinner set at lake side (not for rainy day). Recommend place for who love nature and down to earth peaceful.

Nice cultural and nature-oriented place to visit. There was no notice on their website that they were mostly under renovation until March 2019 (suggest you call them in advance to confirm what's available). We ended up having lunch made from very fresh ingredients from their organic farm partners and then spent the afternoon doing traditional Thai crafts. Can't wait to try it again when everything is open!

Fantastic resort with organic farm and tradition Thai village. The Thai village activities are very informative and fun for the children. The show, run daily, is brilliant. Lovell food and grounds to walk around. Well worth a stay for a few days, or weekend.

Good points: Very tranquil and serene environment, nice gardens, fairly spacious rooms, very helpful doorman. Bad points: Front desk staff seemed somewhat untrained and not very helpful, the toilet sink was clogged and I had to remind them twice to get someone up to solve the problem. When I called the second time (3 hours later), the front desk staff became rather defensive and said she had already sent someone up the first time (the housekeeper confirmed that no one came). Not acceptable behaviour from hotel staff. The trainees were more courteous than their full-time staff. Rooms were rather old and had a musty smell. I understand that the place is under renovation. Overall, the price was ok for the lush greenery offered, but front desk staff are in need of better training. Good for a quick getaway from the city.

It is a nice hotel especially the room with river view. The restaurant Inn Chan also serve traditional thai food using organic vegetables. Area covered with trees and plants, quite pleasant to walk around. If you like quiet, natural and relax atmosphere it is your choice.

From lively cultural attractions in the past, it has gradually been transformed to an organic farming hub. Its farmer market has a good choice of locally grown produces. Sadly, some of the garden and rose beds are either gone or not properly maintained. The wedding spot and its hotel are the best of what is left. Hope after the chages has finished, it returns to its former glory.

Situated around 2 hours from Bangkok, close enough to the main road and set by the China river. A beautiful hotel that offers also conference facilities. It has a Karaoke room, a home for the aged, a place where you can participant in local handicrafts situated in the same compound. On Sunday, the local farmers market happens right next door.

Great place, highly recommend for any one!!! This is a really good place to spend a day or two. If you are family with pre-school there are large numbers of activities for your kids to try such as farming, garland making, etc. For adults, this is a peaceful place with a great view of the river from up top and below. The better than great for this place is everything is organic. They are trying to make it sustainable to run the hotel with fully environmental friendly and fully organic. Food is great and fresh since most of vegetable here are grow just around the corner. Also a farmer market in front of the hotel every weekend, which open from 9am - 3pm. On top of all that, the service is excellent!!!! It is beyond 5-stars for their service. They are so considerate in every way. I'm highly recommend this place for anyone who are looking for a short drive, 1.30 hrs, from center of Bangkok true Thai hospitality with an organic living, this is a place for you.

👍 Food taste very goood but if you can’t stand the msg(monosodium glutamate), be prepared!!! They add a lot of msg here, especially the mushroom salad, and dipping sauce for the fish(we ordered snakehead). Ambience is very airy and nice. Becareful of tree branches if you are taller, and don’t wait for...

👍👍 Stunning and lovely. We were lucky enough to catch live acoustic music! (There will be live acoustic music on weekends.)
