It's perfect for a quiet trip away from the hustle and bustle of commercial tourist spots. It's a nice resort, typical Sheraton fare. Rooms are spacious. Two hour drive from Bangkok. Preferable to drive there so as to be able to explore surrounding areas. Decent number of restaurants and cafes around. Grab app for food delivery works here albeit limited options.

Overrated and outdated 5 stars hotel. Rooms are big and confortable but outdated. We had to fix 3 things in the room snd a a leaknit fixed. We upgraded one room to have pool access, better. Pool is huge and deserve 5 stars. Breakfast good and enough, lot of choice, cooked meals not really tasty. Lot of repairs have to be made and we'll made to be a 5 stars again. Carpets are dirty as are the ground and some walls. Children's outside playground out of order, children's pool empty. Sometimes lack of staff at the breakfast. I make pictures of what shouldn't exist in a 5 stars hotel, could have made more. The prices are too high for this hotel which should be classified 4 stars maximum.

The Sheraton Hotel is a hotel which is very good for large groups and families. We stayed here many years ago and it was a really nice experience. During this stay, we were not as impressed with the property and are unlikely to return. The property has nice communal spaces which are well maintained but it is showing its age. The rooms are showing wear and tear as well with bathrooms needed a refresh and doors and seals needing fixing. We had a lagoon access room and with all the doors closed, we still heard everything going on around us outside from the pool and hallway side. Each time you opened the door, it was like a vacuum which caused the doors to shake and rattle. The AC was also quite loud and needs to be upgraded to newer quieter versions. The hotel also has more of a convention feel to it as well with busy reception areas and not much of a doorman/bell hop stand to welcome guests. It felt very much of a DIY when arriving with cars parked all over the place and we unloading most of our own luggage. This being said, the staff were still very kind and did their best to be helpful. We never had anyone being rude or difficult to us and appreciated their good efforts. Breakfast was a big affair but they had a good variety of food options which changed daily. We prefer to sit outside for meals as inside felt a bit too close to others given the pandemic still ongoing. Would I stay here again - I am not so sure as there are plenty of other newer hotels you could stay at with similar prices and better facilities and closer to the city.

This is a very nice resort! It’s good for travelers who wants to be away from the crowds! If you wish to have shopping, and beach activities, this is not the place to stay! The rooms are large, the pool areas are huge, the buffet is above average but nothing special, the service is good! There is only 1 restaurant for lunch and dinner, lack of transportation, but the bell desk can call cab for you at reasonable price!

Excellent place for family leisure trip. Nice food, friendly atmosphere, comfortable stay. Temperature is like what we felt at Chennai. 2.5-3 hours from Bangkok, by road transport. Beach is good. Rooms are excellent.

Overall the hotel is wonderful. The rooms could use a bit of an upgrade, however it's to be expected for hotels by the sea. Staff were beyond friendly and really made the stay worthwhile. Location is perfect and food at the restaurants are great. I would recommend.

Driving a few hours can be draining but the front office manager-Aor was so professional and efficient that one feels safe in her professional care! Was refreshed at the Marriott Bonvoy Elite Lounge and she went out of her way to setup the electric charging point for my Electric Car! The efficiency of the technicians setting up the power point were also a force to be reckon! In all, it was a marvellous team working together as a unit! I am impressed and bowled over! Thanking everyone!

The staff and ambience make this a pleasant place for breakfast. But the breakfast... oh wow... it's the worst I've had in years. Everything tasted beige, and the bacon was like a mouthful of grease. What happened??? The staff apologised and gave me a 50% discount. I will return for the ambiance and coffee. But someone needs to go into that kitchen and crack some heads. This is a 5star hotel. Get with the program!

This is one of our favorite hotels in the area. All of the staff are very kind and considerate. Each time we've visited, we've received a very warm welcome and five-star service. They have golf carts available to ferry you about to the garage or the room, if you wish. The grounds are lovely and peaceful. The beach out front is quite nice and oftentimes quiet, which is what I like about this region. The restaurant by the beach has great food and the staff is also knowledgeable and able to answer any questions you may have. I'm serious: we asked about a vegetable in a curry (which was delicious) that we hadn't seen much of before, and the waitress told us a bit about the plant and some of its history with the area. The breakfast has a large variety of foods to choose from and the seating is comfortable. It's nice to sit outside in the shade and listen to the fountains gurgle. Again, the staff here is very attentive and they take great care of the guests. The on-site fitness center is well-furnished if you want to get some exercise and the pools are massive if you wish to swim. I've not tried the spa, but I'm sure it's probably lovely. The bar is also quite nice looking with TVs and a pool table.

Nice place to stay. The stuffs were very friendly and helpful. However, the rooms are a bit old with some malfunction equipment such as the fridge. The period we stayed overlapped with a wedding of a Big group of Indian though.

Great value for money. The only downside is the facility is somewhat older than expected. All else is fantastic, especially the staff, helpful and friendly. Recommend

A good destination for a relaxing holiday right on the beach. The location and views are perfect, the property is spacious and beautiful, and not very crowded(during my visit in mid Nov23). Every service staff is very trained to cater your individual and specific needs, if any. Special thanks to Chef Mr Negi for his expertise, extra attention to my little son dietary needs, and churning out so good food.

Welcoming Service is good especially the belle, front and housekeeping Restaurants - try our 1st Breakfast buffet but not impressed as under my expectations. The service speed included filling up foods, and the choice of foods was just fine and not wow. (Even salad bar... 😭) What I love most is that we have room nearby the beach, very soft sands as today are sunny as great for beach activity. The atmosphere is good as all the trees are surrounded. However, during the long holiday, you might be expecting a very mess everywhere except in your room.

As a platinum elite member the Mariott group of hotels is always my hotel of choice, simply because you know what you get no matter where in the world. The Sheraton hua hin was no exception. Although the room furnishings were a little dated (eg floor tiles which I guess were really popular 10 years ago, now most newly built hotels in Thailand I have been to use wood like SPC) but they were well maintained and clean All rooms had pool access. Spent new years eve here.

This is an older, but very well-maintained property, just by the beach in Hua Hin / Cha-am. Literally every staff I met, were welcoming and helpful, the rooms and common areas were beautifully maintained, and great location if you want to enjoy the beach. The pool is huge; it’s like a lagoon and all the room buildings are built around it. There are many rooms with pool access from their balconies, which are great for family with kids. Breakfast has an extensive selection of western and Thai dishes, and all taste great! Highly recommended, for all the reasons above, and the prices are quite reasonable.

We visited Sheraton today to have a look at where Tropical Paradise New Years Eve 2024 will be organised. A very nice location and we would like to say a special thank you to all the personnel that helped us today. P.S.: We didn't have a look in the rooms. So the review only goes for what you can see from the outside.

The room has direct access to the loop pool! It’s pretty awesome. Breakfast has a good variety with like a million sticks of BBQ pork. Kids club is big and with a ball pool. Outdoor slides are under maintenance and the mini kids pool are closed. We were able to order Welcome drink and have it delivered to our room, that’s better than a lot of other hotels.

An excellent resort. Huge and top quality! Pool is 580m !!!! Many restaurants and very nice sports bar. Huge assortment of drinks. Very good Prosecco. Sometimes busy with Indian weddings.

The room is spacious and comfortable. The bed and pillow made me wanna lay on bed for all day. Breakfast buffet is soooo good. Staffs here are nice and lively, providing excellent service. The best part here is the longest swimming pool that wraps around the resort so every building has access to the pool. The beach is just right in front of the resort. Beach is clean and private.

Wonderful swimming pool running throughout, having pool access room feels like living by the river. Excellent hot water, you could run both hot shower and preparing hot bath at the same time without hot water losing the power at either end. Front beach offers best spot for enjoying morning sun rise, walking along the beach, relaxing scene. Guest service call is one of the best, with one press of a button, and no waiting time at all, reception pick up your call immediately without any waiting time. This is far better than any other luxury hotel I have stayed.

Love this hotel. Room service is good and their general attitude is great. Love the lawn space but this property has a lot.of weddings and it gets loud and disturbing

Looked like the rooms and facilities could use a bit of renovation. For a Sheraton brand, the food was lackluster, as was our room-it was far from luxurious but still comfy enough. I travelled with a toddler. Their baby chair was filthy no matter how much I personally cleaned it, and it didn't have the safety straps needed as well. We did like the room with direct access to the pool.

One of the best hotels we were in recent years. The hotel staff is very kind beautiful food and cleanliness. The hotel is very beautiful. large and clean pools. Close to the beach far about ten kilometers from the city. We enjoyed and we'll get back again!

I usually come here for work as a Indian caterer for destination weddings. It’s always a pleasure to work with Sheraton. The team is always professional in all situations. Room size is large. The pool speaks for itself.

Absolutely beautiful hotel with an incredibly long pool caressing the entirety of the complex. Took me about 20 minutes to walk around the whole pool! Situated right on the beach but unfortunately far from the market village and other local attractions. I went for the cheapest room as I was only there for a night, and my purpose was to watch the Manchester United v Liverpool game, and this was the only hotel in the vicinity which had subscribed to the premier League football channels in the room. We won, and that made the stay even better. In my room unfortunately there was a water problem, yellow tainted water came out of the hot water tap, and after letting it drain for a while, small metal deposits were coming out as well. Possibly coincidentally there was hot water maintenance scheduled for the following day, but I was able to move to a different room in a different building. Staff kindly upgraded me to a poolside room, which although I had no time to utilise, I was grateful for the service. Also many of the restaurants were closed with just Luna Lai open, and the food here was mediocre. Not fault of the hotel, and perhaps I just ordered the wrong dishes! Apart from that, I can't fault the place. The attached spa was incredible (though they did end 10 minutes early in a 150 minute session!), and they were able to loosen a lot of the knots I have in my shoulders and back. If I'm in the area again, this will be my hotel of choice for relaxation.

Strong wifi. Huge bath tub. Spacious room although a bit old but not too old. Breakfast is OK. Great service. The river-like swimming pool is probably the highlight of the resort. Lots and lots of kids everywhere so it's good if you like that.

This is not our first time in Hua Hin.So for sure it is the hotel to avoid: - too crowded - the sea is brown and dirty (nobody swims there) - no towels at the pool area (at all!). The towel guy appears from time to time, though he is also in charge of food orders at the pool/beach area, meaning you will never get this too. - sun beds are available, but dirty - ac in the room is really too loud ( which was already mentioned in the reviews) - the breakfast is the worst ever: too crowded, nothing to choose from, what you succeed to get will be not tasty, the rest is missing as it was eaten by those who came earlier. Pros: - quick check-in with welcome drink - ready to help reception - big pool - good wi-fi - pleasant cleaning lady Conclusion: the only way to handle this place is really to take the room with direct access to the pool.

Before I arrive hotel I had high expectation for a quick quiet peaceful holiday but it’s just opposite! The hotel is full of guests with many children screaming and super loud, some adult even louder. The room was abit outdated but nothing to complain about it only just the water for the bath tub. I left the water running and checked 20 mins after. The tub fulled of brown colored water. I had to let the water drained for an hour till water was fine. The breakfast, I never had to wait for a table at breakfast. Waited for 10 mins, not that long but the hotel could have organized better. Ex, ask the guest at check-in, due to fulled house booking or Covid-19 distancing, we have to manage seating for breakfast could you choose the time you’d like to have breakfast 7:00,7:30, 8:00, 8:30….. (just idea from another hotel). Staffs at breakfast is very friendly and professional. Parking! It’s long weekend, parking in building is fulled. I have asked to park at the second parking outside hotel. There’s shuttle trucks pick up from parking back to the lobby. Some cars was parking at front lobby area, are they VIP? They can’t park at the parking lot like other guests? The beach is nice, there’s beach chair at the lawn by the beach. I smelled poop from the horse at the beach. Can’t really have a good time. Ideally this hotel is for family and friends, not hotel for couple or ones who need some quiet peaceful time. AVOID come at long werkend!

Amazing stay!! The Largest pool in Hua Hin. The room is beautiful. The service is even better. But this place is quite a bit run down. Some decorations and the hotel walkways are old. The sea is just a normal Hua Hin's sea, nothing special. If you are looking for a beautiful sea then this might not suit you.

  • 4/5 Sasima L. 1 year ago on Google
For those who wants to avoid traffic in Hua Hin town, this place is recommended. Hotel is big with big garden and beach is few steps away. Twin beds are big (double bed x2) Staffs are nice. A hotel is a bit old but the room is spacious.

  • 4/5 Joanne C. 2 years ago on Google
Very spacious. Older resort and facilities but it has everything you need. The depth of the pool is at one level (4 feet) and wraps around the hotel like a lazy river. There's a sauna and steam room in the fitness area as well. Good view and located right on the beach.
