Old building, but still great. Spacious rooms: junior suite is huge, and the superior is quite large too, compared to newer budget hotels. Great cook, delicious coffee, polite and cheerfull staff. Great hotel and affordable.

Now it become Grand Verona Hotel per November 2022. The building is under renovation, however all staff still proffesional to serve us as a guest. Give best price and worth facilities on it. Such a pleasure to enjoyed the weekend here. Hope the facilities will get better soon. Keep up the good service. Location: strategic near Mall, Mosque, Park, cafe/foods. Price: worth to booked.

The room is clean and nice, the hotel also near one shopping mall, even though it's small but the thing in the mall is quite complete The breakfast in the hotel also quite nice but I prefer the omelette is freshly made, not the one you made it then just put it there, sometimes people wants their omelette different or just a sunny side up egg but the hotel just made it and then serve it The service of the front office it's not so friendly and quite slow as well

Great improvement this year... It' been long time not stay this hotel. What a great surprise this old new hotel. Tidy & neat old room all function .. And the big surprise is friendly welcoming in the restauran with friendly table service. Many food variation, and I tasted most of it... surprising me, all are nice... vegetable salad, soto banjar, nasi pecel, omelete ...all awesome... good job Grand Victoria...

Great hotel with decent services from the hotel staff. One of a good option while you are staying in Samarinda.

It is located opposite with Lembuswana Mall and Jami Al-Ma’ruf mosque. Friendly staff, sometimes live music is available at lobby. Parking areas are in front of hotel or behind, under the building to avoid heat of the sun and rainfall. Restaurant is at the rooftop. Staffs at breakfast are really friendly

The cleanest of the room, the elevator, the aisle and the lobby was so poor. The parking area fully of garbage that scattered around.

Old hotel at convenient location, close to mall. Most of the floors are smoking rooms with only 6th floor with non-smoking rooms. Hallway and elevator carpets could use a bit of cleaning. The bathrooms are a bit narrow and the shower curtain hangs too low in the dirty shower water inside the tub. Please pull them up to avoid stains that looks dirty.

Nice hotel. It has gym, massage service, and safes. The only problem I experienced there was the not-so-clear water, still ok though. They also have a cool restaurant on the 7th floor, but somehow the elevators are only able to reach 6th floor 😐

This place could easily be a 5-star rating with its spacious room, facility, and value add service. First of all, location, it is strategic, Lembuswana Mall just across the street, ATM nearby (Mandiri), and easy parking. The lobby is quite nice. But the cleanliness could use some improvement in some spots. I know it's old, but, that could be the selling point, if properly managed. Room, oh my, the room. I was happened to be in the Junior Suite, it is spacious, with table and chair, plus sofa. Bathtub, okay, to be fair, it's available in all rooms, so that's not really special, but, still, a bonus. Next, this is why the 3-star rating. The cabinets are dusty, and there were some bugs, small roaches. Yes. Plural. The tissue box, speechless. I mean, a hotel, Junior Suite, just look at the picture, it is really really inappropriate. The the street food vendor can do a lot better than that. At around 18.00, they gave us a fruit basket, well, barely eatable, I mean, they were not fresh at all. Plus 1 for the effort, but, if you want to do it, do it right.

I have a good night sleep. The staff are friendly and attend to my needs fast. The room is clean and they change towel everyday. The breakfast at the floor got me a chance to see the main streets of Samarinda. Thank you.

I stayed 2 days in this hotel. Room was clean even though the building is old. The carpet in the corridor was a little dusty. The staff was friendly, especially restaurant's staff. The breakfast was good.

Just attending the wedding of my customer, public facility was not proper, dirty toilets for public.

The new face of Grand Verona Samarinda with full renovated room looks new modern,the room is clean,the food taste is good and location closed to the mall,very recomanded hotel.

The rooms are dirty..i asked the recepsionist to clean up the room..but when i was back..the room was still a mess..i also moved from the other room coz the AC was broken n water fell from it n make my daughter's bag wet.. the facilities in the room are also dirty..like the blankets n the towels
