The location is great. The room and bathroom are a pretty good size. There was te & coffee, a little fridge and toiletries. Its seems dirty. There was rice on the stove. Something had been splashed against the kitchen wall. The bedhead was dusty. The bed had a huge curve where my hips went. The air con rattled all night. The room is very smelly from lack of ventilation and there's mould in the shower.

Positive point: The hotel is very well placed for taking the metro and eating on the main street of Chinatown. - Young lady in the evening is welcoming. Negative point : - They didnā€™t clean the room every day. - Cushion and bed have yellow color and dark spots inside the covers. It must have mites in the room because I had red patches on my skin the first night. - Some insects: Mosquito, spider, and we found a cockroach on the ground. - Shower not very well cleaned from black spots or fungus. For me it is not a hotel but a hostel. This is great if you are on a small budget. Bad experience afterwards I can understand because it is a not very expensive hotel for Chinatown. The little bonus, the water is cold for showering.

This building is located in Yaowarat, Bangkok. Chinatown is one of the famous place in Bangkok. Many tourists come to Chinatown to try the local food which is good, cheap and interesting. This building is good enough for travelers or if you want to stay longer also. When it's published as far as I know, you need to pay 6000 baht / month for room. 250 baht / month for water. And the electricity is based on how much you use. How's the facility? The facility is complete enough. There's bed, table, chair, wardrobe, and kitchen.

Well, one night for 594 baht... this is a good price, perhaps, but I would pay even less for more. Everything is very old. No window. I heard some strange screeching sounds through the wall, like from mouse paws. The receptionist is friendly, helpful. The location is convenient to walk to the metro or just walk along the streets

The family room was fine, a separate secluded section, but it was really warm. The duvets were super thick and the room got really stuffed at night. The ventilation did not work and the bathroom was dump all the time with some ceiling mould. All in all, if the staff and organization gets improved this might be a really great place to stay.

Excellent hotel in terms of setting, amenities, cleanliness, friendliness of personnel, and service. Better value for the money is impossible to find. Staying in a suite was a wonderful experience. Excellent interior design. I really don't have enough words to express my gratitude to the employees and Thai people in general!

This is the best buget accommodation in Bangkok I ever stay, small room with every thing you need, location although is inside a small lane but only less then a minute you are at the main road. MRT 7-11 and all sort of food just a minute to two walking distance, strongly recommend to all travellers, staff are very helpful and have a laundry machine outside, so convenience that out of my expectation. Thank you to all the staff in this hotel, especially kin

Big rooms, clean, and everything works. Has a mini kitchen. The staff was also very helpful and kind. It was close with the MRT of Wat Mangkon and Chinatown Market

The location itself is great if you want to stay in Chinatown. The staff are very friendly and helpful :). The room is average. Bed in 306 was really hard so we moved to another room which the bed has a padding on top of the mattress, a bit better that's the room 506. It also has a kitchen which is a plus for people who likes to cook or for those who's got allergies and prefer to make their own food like me. There is a Lotus groceries nearby and very close to the street food market.

The hotel is very central and very well connected, the receptionist is very friendly, we stayed one night to catch another flight in a room without a window, I must say the best option, without noise with air conditioning... we could rest very well!

Arawana's your welcoming oasis! Safe haven, friendly faces, and a central location to get lost in the chaos. Five stars for solo adventures without a worry.

Location is great, near the MRT train station. But the room wasn't so clean. It was oily I could definitely feel it. There were drops of oil on the table which seemed to me someone had a massage and they didn't clean well. I had to sign a paper which also indicate how many pax I'm staying. For some reason, I don't like that. I'm not sure if that is normal in Bangkok.

Great hotel on a budget. Rooms are nice and cleaned well each day. The staff at reception and the restaurant are very friendly. The food in the hotel restaurant is brilliant. Itā€™s a ten min walk to the metro and takes roughly 30 mins over 2 lines to the centre. The area is more then safe just a tad run down but certainly not rough. 100% recommend on a budget

Right next to the nightmarket and near to the mainline railway station. 7-11, restaurants and a Starbucks around the corner. So convenient. This is a basic hotel, it is clean with cheerful staff and everything works. Our room had no window but then we had no noise or daylight to disturb our lie-in!

The placement of the hotel is right next to yaowarat Road. And just a few meters is also a supermarket. The staff speaks good English and are very kind. They also give good directions and if you need a taxi, they Wil order one for you. Rooms were clean and water was delivered everyday. also if you want to stay longer, that's no problem. The hotel is also a bit difficult to find, since it's a bit in the middle of the neighbourhood, but don't let that discourage you. This way you can see a little bit how the Thai people love. There is also a small temple 20 meters from the hotel. If you ask the lady who sits there during the day, you may enter.

Room is good. Complete with every things needed. Stove, microwave, refrigerator, cooking stuff, hot water, banker, shampoo, soap, towel, tissue, etc Bathroom very clean and tidy. Worthed to stay here for a few days. Near china town, just 5minutes walking to the market. Weekend is the best time to stay here. China town is more crowded on weekend. 15 minutes walk to riverside boat. Good for backpacker either.

The room is nice, clean, comfortable, kitchen with facilities, fridge. Receptionist is helpful, friendly, in the lobby they have coffe machine, so nice to start a day with coffee, cacao or milk tea, delicious. Location is in Chinatown, awesome!

  • 5/5 Martin C. 2 years ago on Google
The hotel is very close to Chinatown, tucked away in a dead-end street, so there is no noise at night. The street looks very dark, but you don't have to worry. The building already bears the marks of the time, but the room was clean, cozy and well equipped. Staff A. and Aoy were very helpful, thank you for all the help. See you again!

  • 3/5 Anthony H. 2 years ago on Google
The room is small but the staff Aoy is very helpful. She even called me a taxi on a rainy day n went out to direct it in a very narrow alley to the hotel on the day of checking out.

The double room was really clean, small regular size for 2 people with air con. The kitchen had to electric stoves, microwave, kettle, fridge and all the kitchen utensils that you need, really cute. There is a safe box and space for your clothes and slippers to wear. I liked the little hiding table and chairs under the tv to eat something. The private toilet was clean, small size but ok, had towels and soap and shampoo. If you need the air dryer you can just ask for it at the reception. The staff was nice. The hotel is located really close to Chinatown market and street foods and itā€™s 15/20 minutes walk to the closest tube station. Itā€™s hiding in a little alley. we enjoyed our stay here. Downs: The bed wasnā€™t the most comfortable, you could feel the slats of the bed on your back. The shower head didnā€™t have anything to hold it on the wall. You could not see all the channels on tv, you could hear it but not see it.

Overall, the stay there was very nice. I stayed in a room with 21 beds and the beds were spaced well and there was surprisingly a lot of room to move around. The beds were comfortable for a hostel, and it was over all clean.
