For the record - this place is stuck in the 60s-80s and not in a good way. I came with a group of friends (of color) and we were treated terribly by the owner and waitress on a Saturday evening. We were sitting in the back sipping cocktails and I was sleepy from the day so I rested my head on my boyfriend's shoulder. The waitress came up and snapped at me that I couldn't do that. Then the owner came over, introduced himself as the owner and yelled at us to leave. While I know I shouldn't be sleepy at a bar, my friends weren't there to cause harm & the way the owner yelled at them was totally left field. We looked around after that and felt extremely out of place. My friend felt so unwelcome, she decided to go home right after. I really hope they can see that as a new bar in an area that already gets a bad rep for not being inclusive, these actions mean more than they may think. This review really is to alarm anyone who already dislikes the Marina, a couple of disco balls does not automatically make it a safe space. I am writing this with the hopes that no one else gets treated like we did that night.

Love this spot!!! I can't recommend it enough, definitely my new favorite bar. Must get one of the cocktails, my personal favorites were the California Soul (pic) and Lovely Day. Also can't go wrong with one of the Cheekies. Great vibes all around - perfect spot to hang out with friends or have a date night. The Marina has been waiting for a place like this!

decent bar with nice vibes and interesting cocktails. superstition: didn’t know how to feel at first but grew on me as i drank more and stirred in the ube coconut cream. would describe as strong rum flavor with a hint of coffee, but creamy with some saltiness

Amazing little cocktail bar. 70s themed. Drinks are wonderful and different. Staff is super friendly. The sort of place where it’s east to make friends of strangers.

I’m coming out of the woodworks to share my thoughts on an awesome bar. The drinks, the service, the atmosphere were incredible. Highly recommend going and getting the Lovely Day. Can guarantee you’ll enjoy it.

Mixed seating with different spots to congregate in the small space. Really friendly bartenders. Tasty drinks. Holiday drinks were fun but not overdone

You can get a great cocktail in this city at many different bars. What makes this bar amazing is Janice. Bouncer, greeter, front of house, back of house, bartender, music teacher, and more… she is literally a one woman show.

Very unique drinks. Good music, but so loud. Can get crowded. Cute little sitting room in the back by the bathroom

This is the best bar I’ve been to, plain and simple. The atmosphere, drinks, and service are unparalleled. There is a cocktail here for any preference/mood, each equally as delicious as the last.

Stumbled into this incredible little cocktail spot with thoughtful cocktails based on songs. The food menu looked great and had blistered peppers, salt and vinegar popcorn, deviled eggs, Cuban grilled cheese, and onion dip. There was a balanced beer and wine list for those who don’t want cocktails.

I was visiting from NYC, so pretty high bar for cocktails. But I gotta say this place gets a 5 star for sure. Drinks were creative, ambience is nice and our bartender Janice was super friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommended!

Lovely bar, delicious drinks and friendly staff. The decor is fab with excellent attention to detail for this tribute to Records. It feels like a lounge from the 70’s. I love the work put in to getting every detail done well. The glassware is stylish and a perfect match for the time period. A really thoughtful tribute to a time when vinyl reigned supreme. Whether you’re local or visiting you will not be disappointed if you add this bar to your itinerary. It rivals bars I have been to in New York, Tokyo and London.
