It was my first time on Gary Boulevard, I’m very familiar with become a yoga, I was a student on California Street years ago! My experience yesterday it Was the room,it’s really super hot I felt that it was way overheated and I fell very nauseous I have to step out after 30 minutes , and I could not make myself back in the room so I had to leave . and I’m still recovering with so much pressure in my head, I’m not coming back but everybody’s there, is very professional very welcoming and plus you have to wear masks which is completely understandable :-) but with overheating room with your mouth and nose covered, for me it was impossible to breed, and you know yoga is all about breathing. But like I said, troll disasters that I do the Bikram yoga that room it was way too hot but everybody it was wonderful I do recommend the place but just be aware

This studio is pretty clean, but the instruction is inconsistent. My gripes are: 1. They are more expensive than other Bikram studios in the city 2. If you buy a class card (which is no deal!) they only give you a short amount of time to use the class card up, and they usually will not let you extend that time (without a fight with the owner). At Funky Door you automatically get one entire year to use up your classes (even if you buy a 10 class card). 3. The bathrooms are inadequate with only one shower and no lockers to put away your valuables 4. The teachers give you a bad time if you leave the room (which is not safe considering the room is well over 110 degrees). 5. If you are even one minute late, tough luck, you are locked out. If you want great instruction and good prices, try one of the numerous studios in San Francisco, unless you have to find a studio in the Richmond. I love Funky Door, but there are many studios to choose from, so shop around.

The first time I went to Bikram Yoga, I wasn't that happy about it, I had expected more of a challenge. The next time I went, the trainer explained how I was suppose to breathe and focus my mind in order to get the utmost out of it. What a difference it made! It was the toughest workout I had ever did in my life! I truly recommend this place, both for the bikram yoga itself but also for the trainers.

Love coming to Sam’s hot pilates classes - she’s fun, energetic and is a great instructor. I’m giving 4 stars because one of the classes I went to recently was over packed to the point where I was cm away from the people next to me. My suggestion would be to have a certain # of people per class.

Door was already locked at 12:29 for the 12:30 class. They do put in the instruction that you need to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start of class to register, etc., but I wish this had been better communicated (when I went back to the registration email I got, it's in the fine print near the bottom. That's important information! Maybe it should be at the top?); especially since it's location isn't conducive to easy parking, etc. It was my first foray into trying to get back into hot yoga postpartum. So, my bad, I guess. Honestly, though, for the price, I don't think it's worth the hassle. It just felt very gatekeep-y to fitness. TLDR: I wouldn't say it's "welcoming". At least, it wasn't for me. Spend your money/credits elsewhere.

i've been to many bikram studios and i really like this one. seacliff is clean and charming and classes aren't too crowded from my experience. jay is one of the best teachers in the city, i was stoked to see him teaching here after teaching classes from him in the Mission and now living in the Richmond. i like the strict-ness of classical bikram (super hot, no ins and outs, etc) and this studio honors that. definitely worth a "first timers" deal to check it out. Bikram's not for everyone, but you might fall in love.

I bought an online voucher for a discounted, limited-time trial membership and was impressed with the immediate benefits. It took me a session or two to find a teacher that I looked forward to working with. The range in style of instruction is pretty vast, so I suggest trying out a few classes and seeing who works best for you. The location is convenient but prohibitively expensive for me. I'm lucky that they have easily accessible bicycle parking because street parking around there is hard to come by.

After a few months at another studio in Sunset, I started going to Seacliff and loved it. The teachers were awesome and the studio feels good. Parking can be tricky but I managed to find something every time I visited. I followed Christian to his studios at Daly City and now to San Mateo.

I have been going to this place for over 10 years since they were still at the old location. They have been committed to both the yoga and local communities to promote a peaceful and healthy environment to the locals. ☮️ 🕉

I can only recommend it to anyone who suffers from jet lag or who wants to get really hot again - Mika exhausted me and a few others - that was Bikram yoga in its purest form and not softened, as I have experienced so often ...Congratulations :-)

😠 Although the equipment in this gym allows you to "get the job done" and they do validated garage parking for $6, these are the ONLY positives I can highlight about this location. Any time I come to town, I grudgingly use this gym but I implore management and corporate to please please please start...
