I
am
nothing
but
grateful
to
GYMGUYZ
Silicon
Valley
for
helping
me
get
to
a
healthier,
happier
me.
For
reference,
I
am
in
my
late
40s,
was
obese,
unfit
and
would
easily
run
out
of
breath
even
during
regular
daily
activities
earlier
this
year.
I
started
with
a
goal
of
achieving
a)
better
sleep
b)
zero
blood
pressure
medication
and
c)
of
course
healthier
weight.
They
gave
me
a
comprehensive
questionnaire
for
understanding
my
personal
challenges,
constraints
and
goals.
Shannon,
the
owner,
came
and
did
a
full
assessment.
They
offered
a
combination
of
personal
training
and
nutrition
coaching.
The
cost
of
the
package
was
significantly
higher
than
I
had
imagined.
But
once
I
convinced
myself
to
make
that
investment,
I
stayed
committed
to
the
regime.
GYMGUYZ
was
able
to
find
a
training
schedule
(3
times/week)
that
fits
my
needs.
In
the
past
six
months
I
have
been
very
happy
with
not
only
the
progress
towards
my
three
goals,
but
also
a
few
other
benefits
(e.g.
better
blood
report
on
all
fronts).
GYMGUYZ
measures
progress
using
periodic
assessments.
Their
data
driven
approach
encourages
me
(I
am
a
bit
of
a
data
junkie
:-).
I
worked
with
the
following
coaches.
All
of
them
have
been
very
professional
and
caring.
They
did
an
excellent
job.
*
Du
Nguyen:
Du
is
my
main
personal
trainer.
I
do
strength
training
with
Du.
He
also
helped
me
plan
a
holistic
workout
schedule
including
cardio
sessions
on
my
own.
He
has
been
able
to
challenge
me
sufficiently
while
avoiding
any
injury.
As
a
result
my
fat%
went
down,
muscles
got
stronger
and
cardio
health
improved
significantly.
I
feel
more
energetic.
*
Sheyda
Ghasemiyeh:
Sheyda
is
my
yoga
instructor.
Yoga
is
my
favorite
form
of
exercise,
though
I
was
not
doing
much
when
I
started.
Sheyda’s
sessions
combine
vinyasa
power
yoga
(including
108
surya
namaskar
session
at
times),
isometric
exercises,
pilates,
full
body
strength
training,
stretches
and
more.
The
difficulty
level
increased
gradually
as
I
was
able
to
do
more.
She
also
advised
me
on
Yin
yoga
for
sore
muscles
(or
otherwise)
that
really
helped.
Her
sessions
helped
strengthen
and
tone
my
muscles.
*
Elizabeth
Parsen:
Elizabeth
was
the
nutritionist
assigned
to
me
for
the
initial
30
days.
Initially
I
was
hesitant
to
accept
her
rigid
approach,
but
later
I
realized
that
is
exactly
what
I
needed
to
stay
on
healthy
food
habits
and
I
thanked
her.
She
helped
create
a
balanced
nutritious
meal
plan
with
natural
food
for
me.
She
even
advised
me
during
my
vacation
where
not
many
healthy
options
were
available.
*
Ashley
Katz:
Ashley
was
assigned
as
my
phase
2
nutrition
coach.
I
started
with
a
few
remaining
complaints
about
digestive
health,
sleep
quality
etc.
Ashley
helped
address
all
of
those.
She
also
taught
me
how
to
be
more
flexible
about
food
while
maintaining
the
benefits
of
the
initial
stringent
plan.
Additionally
she
suggested
a
few
lifestyle
changes
that
helped
me
with
my
sleep
quality
and
overall
well
being.
So,
I
am
clearly
a
happy
customer.
I
have
referred
this
program
to
my
friends
and
family.
