We stayed in the hotel and had dinner here. Location is great, although you cannot reach it by car. No elevator, small rooms, food very expensive. The staff is nice though.

Fantastic Hotel, super location with a delightful breakfast room and resturant right on the quayside. The owners are lovely the service and staff and guests rate. I will be staying here again on my next visit to Sanary sur mer!

REVIEW OF THE RESTAURANT: We stumbled upon an apparent Michelin star seafood restaurant. Obviously, we had high expectations. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated. However the food? No comment. I ordered the médaillon de lotte and didn’t enjoy it at all. There was a complete lack of flavour, I spent 2 minutes just adding salt and pepper to help compensate for the blandness of the fish and sauce. They also tossed random vegetables into my dish that don’t even go together… roasted tomatoes with fish? In what world? My husband ordered the ‘gambas risotto’. The waiter mentioned that the shrimp was already peeled and now we know why. The shrimp had to be at least a few days old or frozen. It was stale, smelled off and was so mushy. How can you be a seafood Michelin star restaurant and serve guests frozen/old shrimp? Overall, we were very disappointed especially since it was all incredibly overpriced and our tastebuds were unsatisfied. I suggest go to the neighbouring restaurants and pay less for better. This is a mediocre tourist trap at best.

Very French and superb for seafood. Nice ambience, amazingly fresh seafood and good service.

Spectacular location and view of the port. Strong air conditioning and fast WiFi (20 Mbps down/6 Mbps up, just like home). Friendly staff. Small flatscreen TV with CNBC. Travel lightly, though, no local stopping or parking at all, hard to drop off the luggage, no elevator up to the 4th floor. Parking garage Les Picotières is about a 3-minute walk with a fee of 37 Euros per week. I recommend driving straight to the garage, walking over to the hotel to coordinate buying the parking pass and the luggage drop off. Rooms are extremely small, very basic. I would definitely stay here again, though!

The view was beautiful, the breakfast was delicious and the staff were very helpful. The room was quite tight and there was no iron to press a shirt.

Wonderfully friendly staff in this family run hotel. Rooms are not luxurious but fine for a 2** hotel. No lift for oldies. ! Dinner menu fabulous especially if you like fruit de mere but slightly disappointed with the seasoning on the main fish dish. Overall loved our stay.

We came here for the restaurant - which is awesome- and were very impressed by the rooms too, with excellent views over the port and quayside. One alert, though: not every guest will appreciate the absence of an elevator! For us, that was more than offset by the seafood.

Best restaurant for fish
