Arrivé vers 13h15 pour déjeuner avec Un accueil très agréable . Notre choix se porte sur l aïoli, avec sa formule vin + café. Belle assiette garnie accompagnée de moules, boulots ,poulpes en daube et bien sur l aïoli maison et a volonté. Tout était bon et frais, prix corrects, rien a redire. Le serveur au petit soin, nous avons passé un très bon moment. Je recommande ce restaurant, produits frais et de qualité. 5/5. Je suis surpris qu il y est des mauvaises notes sur des futilités qui n ont aucuns rapport avec la nourriture.

We really enjoy this bar/café/restaurant. Love sitting in the sun in the morning facing the sea with our coffee. But what’s even better is the food from the restaurant. The mussels are wonderful with huge portions and the tuna tartare is excellent!! The waitress - Amandine - is pretty amazing, navigating tight spaces always with a smile or something nice to say. She works alone (other than high season) and is there all day!! Another reason we like going .. you feel like family! My only wish is that there was some soft music in the restaurant at night to drown out other conversations. We always go back though because the food is really that good! As a side note … the owner makes an incredible Irish coffee!! I need to go back to add food photos. Completely forgot to take pics!

We visited L'Hippocampe on a Thursday afternoon in early June just to have their couscous (which is only available on Thursdays), and it was incredible. The table was presented with bowls of steamed couscous, seasoned vegetables, and stewed meats from which you could build bowl after bowl of delicious combinations. It was wonderful. So, my advice is simply to go on Thursday and be sure you're hungry. It was truly the best I've ever had.

Bonjour, we fond the restaurant absolutely disgusting, because the service was extremely unfriendly. We came to have a dinner with 2 small kids and the staff was showing very openly - "we do not want to see you here", though our kids are very calm, non causing any worries to other guests. The waitress was arrogant, even throwing the bill to the table - never ever seen in any place I was before. So I strongly do not recommend L'Hippocampe for families - there are enough good restaurants in Sanary-sur-Mer and Six-Fours-les-Plages to visit.

Service et accueil assez compliqué. Les serveurs étaient débordés et perdus en salle et nous avons dû les guider sur la prise de commande, pour avoir les carafes d’eau, etc. Par contre, le service a été ultra rapide et efficace, et les plats étaient délicieux. Avec une meilleure organisation et service en salle, cela aurait été parfait !

Bon emplacement sans être sur le principal quai du port. Bons produits et bonne cuisine mais erreurs dans les accompagnements (rapidement corrigé après demande). De la salade fraîche ferait la différence 🥬 (et non pas le déjà trop vu mélange en sachet). Recommandé.
