I just created this account to warn every non-turkish person NOT to go to this hotel.. Its definetly not a 4star hotel, the picture in the internet doesnt look like the way it really looks like. They cant speak english and close everything (pool, fitness etc.) way earlier so they can go home. The rooms are way too small and the fridge is broken.. Our back got hurt because our bed is way too uncomfortable. NOT RECOMMENDED!

Nothing fancy but a decent hotel. My room was a smoking room so it had a cigarette smell. Didn’t bother me. Breakfast was included which was a nice gesture.

Pretty far from the main attractions within Istanbul, but close to airport. Hotel runs a sports club so gets very busy during the day

Rooms are too hot as temperature is controlled by reception breakfast not good no choice would not recommend for May as no pool is open you have to wear a swimming cap for swimming too much local people as it’s a local gym sports centre which was not described on website worst experience here

This "Hotel" is a disappointment. On 19 July 2021 they denied us (my brother and I) access into their swimming pool because we didn't have a "woman" with us. The funny part is that they didn't even explain the logic behind all this. There were 2 girls at the reception but there was one named BURCU. This one was extremely rude for no reason. She just freaked out of nowhere and even raised her voice. Absolutely disrespectful. I don't recommend anyone. This is a disgrace in the hospitality industry. It raised so many unanswered questions. Maybe it's because of the color of our skin because after they denied us access two local lads just cruised into the pool. Food for thought🤔🤔🤔

19 July 2021 at around 14:30 I took a taxi and went to Aydinoglu hotel in Idealtepe, Istanbul. I had called prior arriving and I had been told that I can come. My main activity was to swim. Upon arriving , at the reception , one lady told me that “ I can swim because I didn’t bring a lady “ I was so surprised 😮 why I needed a to bring a lady to swim. I asked her to explain because I was surprised. A lady called Burcu was rude enough interject. Then I kept quite and asked a Turkish friend to talk to them . Funny enough Burcu continued to be rude. They didn’t even try to help, their emphasis was not getting us in . In the hospitality industry this is the first when I saw a hotel treating clients like this. It’s even weird , Ataturk helped emancipate woman in Turkey , and for a hotel to tell me bring a woman to swim. In addition, the courtesy of the receptionist was not there. I have worked for a The Ritz Carlton myself and I know. I don’t know 🤷🏾‍♂️ what was their problem really , I only saw us being rejected the time I waited there, could it be the case that I am African .i just wonder. In short , how did that hotel get a 5 star rating. With that bad experience I don’t recommend anyone to go that hotel , there was no one who spoke English or French ..... I DONT RECOMMEND - 0 STARS

Nice hotel to stay. However away from the center of istanbul you can reach it in less than 1 hour. Nice and comfortable bed. Small bathroom but very tidy and clean. Althougt most of the staff don't speak English at all, you will understand each other (more or less). Has a gym, swimming pool and a restaurant where they serve lovely turkish food. The breakfast is varied.

The hotel is good if you plan to do sports during your stay. Not suitable for business travel purposes.

The location is pretty good, The service is good as well and the price is affordable
