No food, drinks and picnic allowed (there's screening at the entrance). No restaurant, food stand, public bathrooms or playground. It's a park with an entry fee (higher prices on weekends) that has info signs on the manifold trees, but if that's what you expect it's great. It's beautiful with long hiking trails through forests, bushes, groves, shrubs and along a few small lakes. Not as crowded as I thought. It's beautiful and restful, although a bigger street right at the edge of the park creates a steady background noise. It's good to bring kids although there's no playground. There's swans, fish, ducks, turtles and a few bunnies. Although you can't really feed them if you can't bring any food. I'd say it's a great place to go to if you live relatively close. But I don't think it's worth sitting on public transportation for 2 hours to get here, like we did.

Such a scenic place any time of year, but especially magical during fall season. The colors of trees and foliage are breath taking varying from shades of yallow, reds and greens, as this park is made of trees resembling all the trees of Turkey with a couple two small lakes that are ether man made or shaped for a relaxing and a serene experience, avoid weekends and bank holiday. Food and beverages are not allowed here and there is a fee for entering.

The garden is beautiful, the staff know how to protect very well. It was very clean, silent and very beautiful. There are 17 parsel to see. They don’t allow the food, pet, tripot, gimbal etc. You can only take a water with you. The bags are allowed doesn’t matter the size. There is free park lot. We went with my friend and spent almost 2 hrs to see around. I liked it and believe that the most beautiful time to visit this garden is autumn. 🍁🍁🍁 Entrance fee is 7.5 tl for week day, 20 tl for weekend and for student is just 2.5 tl.

WOW If you are looking for a silent place with beautiful and various types of tree 🌳 🌲 and two attractive lakes. Spend more than 3 hours to walk and enjoy. Take a look at my photos.

Peaceful and beautiful area. We took the M2 metro line to the final Hacıosman spot then caught the 42HM bus from outside the Metro to the street adjacent to Atatürk Arboretum. Crazy crowded bus but worth it for the convenience of the direct route and affordable travel. Long line on a fall season Sunday to get in. 20₺ admission per person when we visited in November, 2019. No outside food allowed (it will be confiscated). Water is okay to bring inside. Fresh air and lovely trees. Recommended time to experience it fully: 2-3 hours. Wear comfortable shoes. Hilly walking paths because, well, this is İstanbul! 🙂

An incredible park right outside Istanbul. It's like a botanical garden, but with trees. The place is wonderful, looks like a forest from a fairy tale. Perfect for family or couples. It offers a pleasant and quiet atmosphere, far from the city's noise. Easily approachable by bus and metro. If you wish to relax and zone out a bit one day, this place is perfect.

I really enjoyed this place. A lot of different kind of plants, trees, flowers. You can feel there like exploring the wild forest. Enter fee is 20 lira per adult person on weekends. Please keep in mind that it is not allowed to take food on territory of park.

Beautiful park, one of the must visit places in Istanbul especially in Fall season. Now in the beginning of October mostly it is still green, but some trees started to have yellow/red/etc colours, perhaps to the end of October it will be all colourful. Entrance fee in weekends: 20 TL Entrance fee in weekdays: 7.5 TL For students - weekends: 7.5 TL & weekdays 2.5 TL.

Calm and beautiful place for walking and taking pictures, there are many awesome views so don’t forget your camera! Only bringing water is allowed and you can’t find any cafe inside, i don’t know the reason, so we couldn’t stay too much :(

Calm and silent. You can listen birds for hours. If you come a bit early like 10 am, it is amazing to enjoy the view of trees with nobody around. I loved being here. I truly recommend. Give a break to this burdening city life.

Amazing place for nature lovers and a getaway from city's noise and pollution. Walkways, small lakes, educational activities for kids about trees. A place for families, couples, friends to relax, play and enjoy nature; forestry students to implement their studies and a perfect place for wedding photoshoot. In fact, there were 3 couples taking photos when I visited. Highly recommended when in Istanbul. You can reach it by taxi or by public transportation. The place has it's own masjid as well.

👍👍 Great. As far as I understand it is the calmest part of the beach. The sea and the waves were quite slow. It is a comfortable place in terms of crowds of people and vehicles.
