Beautiful and quite unique place for a walk. The locals love the picnic area of the garden where they have their own lunch or dinner with family. It has an easy access from Metropol shopping center. My favorite part of the garden was the small house with range of cactuses and other plants. The labels and description tables were all in Turkish though, so don’t expect English to be present anywhere here. The only thing that really annoyed us was the loud car noise from the highway.

Amazing place! Entrance is free. Unfortunately, only one greenhouse is available for visitors, but the rest of the park is lovely! I enjoyed it a lot!

A fabulous park for all ages. Made from scratch as it were. Upon leaving the car park, you get a small flier with the map of the place on one side, rules (e.g. no consumption of nuts with hulls) of conduct on the other. The underground passage to the park has pictures of how the park was created from nothing on one side and pictures of some of the rare plants that they are growing in the park on rhe other. There is a large section for picnics and then the different areas with amazingly beautiful plants. Also a fun play park fir kids with a maze in it. A MUST when in Istanbul.

This is a real botanical garden complete with greenhouses (open from 1pm until 3pm) and labelled specimen plants. The gardens are all linked by tunnels or bridges and there are ramps for pushchairs or wheelchairs. I didn't notice any wheelchair accessible toilets though as they seem to be of the portaloo variety. Definitely worth a visit. There are also small play areas for kids. Only 4 stars because of the constant traffic noise.

A great place to walk, have a picnic or even for studying (there is a library). Between the concrete world, a magical garden full of different plants and trees. Must see if you are in the area. Only upside for visiting is (because of free of charge entrence imo) the visiting hours is too limited.

A natural jewel in heavily populated all concrete city area. Must visit...be a volunteer, take kids, many activities possible. Terrible motorway noise is a problem, hope noise breaking walls can be applied around, soon. Japanies cherry trees can be seen in springtime..

A quiet place, despite the highways, to enjoy the plants.

I highly recommend that individuals residing in Istanbul pay a visit to this serene and picturesque location. It is abundant in a diverse range of plants and flowers, particularly during the summer months. Each plant is appropriately labeled for easy identification, making it a great learning opportunity for children. Additionally, there is a small area where geese reside, and adjacent to their nest are picnic spots. This destination is perfect for spending quality time with your family on the weekends.
