It didn't help, that there was dog poo distributed outside this restaurant, which my wife and I walked in. So, we went off to clean our shoes before returning. We notified the staff, who cleaned it away promptly. Service was good, with menus in Gallego, English, French and German Regrettably, they did not have it in Castellano (traditional Spanish), which seemed strange, as they are an important part of Spain. The waiter was patient whilst we deliberated over what to eat. The wine list is immense by the bottle, with sufficient choice by the glass. The menu is quite extensive, and they are happy to make alterations if requested. We felt that some of the dishes could be fresher, but overall it was quite acceptable. It was fair value for money. We would not, however, eat there again.

Very good seafood (great octopus) and a good variety on the menu (including seasonal food like the green peppers). The portions were satisfying with a fair price for the high quality of the offered food.

One of the few restaurants that was open throughout the lunch-dinner break. (Most Spanish restaurants have lunch and dinner really late and close between 4pm to 8pm) Ordered the following dishes 1. Zamburinas (scallops) The star dish of the night. 8 pieces for 14 euros. The scallops were so fresh you could still taste the natural sweetness of the scallops. Do note that there is another item on the menu called "Grilled Scallops" which is much cheaper at ~7 euros but apparently the waiter says it is much smaller. 2. Porchini mushrooms with prawns The mushrooms were very tasty and the garlic was stirred fried perfectly without being burnt. However it was a bit on the salty side. Still a great dish for sharing 3. Raxo (pork cut in pieces with chips) Oh my the portion was huge. Yummy but slightly salty. Overall, great restaurant and you must order the zamburina scallops!

Great! I had pimientos de Padrón with cracked salt and then I ordered a hamburger with goat cheese and caramelized onions. Loved it! Glass of red wine and I was in heaven. I think even though it is located in a high tourist area, hasn’t lost a charm of a restaurant who offers local food.

Dine alone there, nice food (the prawns were bit too salty for me though) They open earlier than many restaurants for diner! This is a huge plus for me!!! First time in Spain tips are by default added into the bill :-)

Great variety of local delicacies! Beware not to order too much as the portions are generous! We tried the grilled squid and the mussels, both were delicious! The boiled octopus with paprika was unfortunately too salty for us. The staff was friendly and everything is reasonably priced!

With such a stream of people in Santiago all eating establishments are full and it is difficult to expect superb food. This is traditional Taperia which serves traditional tapas and do that decently. Service is also available in English

Amazing seafood!! Great variety of options from the menu and the waiter chose the perfect red wine for us. Highly recommend: 🦐 Garlic grilled prawns (we ordered one skillet first and then got 2 more! So good!) 🌟 Grilled Scallops 🌟 Grilled Octopus We had a table of six and went for dinner. We ordered one dish each from the seafood list to share and every dish was cooked perfectly and were made from very fresh ingredients. The bill at the end was also very reasonable! We had a three course meal with more than 1 main course per person, 2 bottles of wine and the bill including tip only came to €27.

Fantastic dining experience! We had lunch here, the dishes as follows: - Cheese platter -> 5/5 - Zamburiñas -> 5/5 - Vieira -> 5/5 - Tortilla Eapañola poco hecha -> 5/5 - Croquetas caseras -> 5/5 - Cheesecake -> 3/5 The dishes were excellent, notably the tortilla, we had it barely cooked and it was spectacular! The only thing that wasn't to my liking (but still good) was the cheesecake, it seemed more like a flan. The service was great! The waiter advised us on the portions and gave us a smaller, off the menu cheese platter, so we wouldn't over-eat.

We came here for breakfast and enjoyed it so much we decided to try out their dinner menu later that day. All of the food was excellent, service was friendly, and prices reasonable. Very nice spot in the old historic area of Santiago de Compostela.

Had an amazing meal of vieira / scallops, razor clams / navales, and croquetas de chipirones / squid croquettes with black ink. Paired nicely with Spanish white wine from Galicia - Albariño, Godello & Ribeiro del Duero. Service was not top notch that day but everything else was great. Would definitely seat here again.

Visited this place in 2021 and again in 2022 and the food and service is still very good. Had grilled octopus and tetilla cheese with quince. The only thing I hated was being seated right across the toilets (granted there was a door that closes and open)... Still it was early in the day around 12:30pm so it wasn't the lunch rush. There's plenty of seats around. Like there were empty seats and tables beside me even after I finished my meal. So yeah, poor single guy gets the table with the best view.. 🤦‍♂️

Fantastic food - amazing choice of classic local dishes! Octopus and "tetilla" cheese were such a wonderful combination with fresh beer form tap. Staff in this place is super friendly and welcoming. Menu cards are available as well in English. And what is very important - if you are hungry already at 19:00 - this place is open already at that time, most of other great places re-open at 20:30

The restaurant has a terrace outside where we could enjoy some morning sun while we waited for our ride back home. Super friendly staff.

Good food, good recomandations (zamburinas + albarino, for me, hot salad for my wife). Our friends were not so happy with porcini and shrimps (she wanted with ham, but probably the order was not well understood). I still give 5 stars for my experience.

Super restaurant. Delicious food, the best I have experienced on my Camino. Amazing staff, super kind, they speak English. Nice place to have traditional meal.

First of all, the seafood was amazing, tasty and fresh. Highly recommended. But the waiter at the terrace probably had a bad day. Not really unfriendly, but kind of not present. Then he threw down my half full wine glass.... not offering another glass or getting it of the bill, not even saying sorry. And that's in my eyes not acceptable for a restaurant.

Do yourself a huge favor and eat here. I had dinner here and it was outstanding. Their desserts were out of this world. It was so good in fact, when I saw they were open for breakfast the next morning, I went back. And breakfast was also outstanding! Can’t go wrong here.

We had the langostinos, pimientos, berberechos (no picture) and tortilla. The food was good. I specially can recommend the tortilla, it was really good. Even though I am not so into tortilla in general, but this one.. yes :D. Can be a little bit noisy sitting outside to the rush hour because there are several places next to each other. But overall decent food.

Very nice scallops and high quality service! Even though I cannot speak Spanish, the waitors could get me "ice chocolate drink" during the meal. (In beer glass lol)
