Worth 0 stars, worst hotel in my years of travelling. I booked an executive suit. - No desk with a chair to do some work - No wall sockets near the bed - No hot water to shower when I arrived late - Shower door doesn't close, water all over the place - TV signal is horrible - I arrived 2 O'clock Sunday morning, the room service woke me up two times to clean the room at 8 O'clock and 9 O'clock. But the next day on Monday I found my room uncleaned that evening, because I forgot to hang the 'clean my room' on the doorknob. - No WiFi in room 410 at all - Restaurant is horrible, no soul to be found and three tables big - My room key didn't work so I needed to make my way down to reactivated it no problem can happen, but the personal is uninterested. - No bottle of water in the room I checked out to go to another hotel nearby, where I stayed on my previous visit. Not recommended at all..

I spent a week here. The hotel and restaurant staff were very attentive and courteous. While the rooms were not 5 star quality they were reasonably clean and I felt secure at night. The casino next door can get quite loud so if you need a room ask for the parking lot side of the hotel. Affordable with outstanding staff.

This is a classical hotel in santiago, Dominican Republic. It is very affordable. It gets loud until about 1:00 a.m. and after that it's very quiet. They have a casino, I've never been in it, they have their own restaurant but if you want to eat something outside there's a very good place around the corner.

I really liked this hotel The price was low and the standards high It’s old so if you don’t mind some of the problems that go with old buildings you’ll enjoy the property. The staff is super nice and friendly

Very nice boutique hotel with it's casino. Rooms are small but decent and affordable. Restaurant is fine with very good prices. Top notch service.

Ok place, wonderful people, high ceilings and comfortable beds. Easy parking. A bit run down compared to photos. Really nice large Dominican Republic breakfast prepared to go for us. Don't forget to put the maid card outside on your doorknob or your room won't get made up. Easy to get a cab or Uber just outside entrance.

I've read some reviews that said the rooms were "dated", Well I just stayed 2 nights and enjoyed my stay immensely. About 20 minutes from the aeropuerto and not far from a supermercado and muchas restaurantes to choose from. The staff here are super friendly and if Maritza is working the front desk I know you will be greated with a friendly smile and a desire to make your stay at the Platino enjoyable. She provided great customer service and has sufficient English skills that will make a non Spanish speaker feel comfortable with communications. The included breakfast was very good and delivered to the room due to the current Covid-19 precautions. Have a drink while sitting on the patio and make some new friends, enjoy !

Hotel located more or less centrally in the city of Santiago. The rooms were adequate for the price, but not luxurious. In the room, I stayed for one night. I found a minibar with juices, soft drinks, and bottles of water accompanied by cookies and other snacks that I barely remember. All were by way of if consumed pay at check out (except water). I had no experience using the shower, but it was a basic adequate bathroom overall. It had your basic towel racks.

If you book on the web be aware, they photo shop. The rooms aren’t as cozy as they appear. They nickel and dime you, charge for water when I was told it was complimentary. They try to charge for items in the mini bar even though I didn’t use. Location is good.

My stay at Platino Hotel was fantastic! The cozy rooms offer a serene escape, and despite being on a bustling avenue, the absence of street noise was impressive. The impeccably clean bathroom and high-pressure water made showering akin to standing under a soothing waterfall. Moreover, the reasonable price, especially compared to other hotels in the area, combined with its central location, made it a top-notch choice. Highly recommended!

My usual place wasn't available on short notice. However, this place was a very pleasant surprise for the price I paid, which included breakfast. By the way, the breakfast included was fantastic. It is a full restaurant menu with no limitations. My room was very comfortable and large. The location was very convenient, and it has a casino. Had an issue with my room when I checked in. However, the front desk receptionist, Mabel, took care of it quickly. Also, Mabel was very courtesy and very helpful with all my concerns. She even "squeezed" me to my room earlier than the normal check-in times. Finally, the picture is the early construction of a brand new open-air restaurant that would definitely make it the place to hang out.

Awful . Small and inconvenient. Service is good . But that’s all . It looks like a motel . It was clean

Room not well maintained. Not a good value for the price BUT restaurant was amazingly delicious. The restaurant was the only good thing with a reasonable price. I will be going back to the restaurant only!

Nice staff, clean facility but the rooms need renovations. It’s enough to sleep securely at night but the inside decoration in underwhelming.

The rooms are very different, from a bed to just barely a bathroom, is what you pay for.

The staff stoled 200 dollars from me, don’t stay at this place, the staff enters the rooms and check your bags.

Although the place is clean , the hotel is very noisy. It has a disco that place live music all night very loud and my room AC never worked. Front people didn’t do anything after complaint was done.

TRASH! STAY AWAY! Worst experience I've ever had in a hotel. This is motel standards. The bed, the door, and the desk are all squeaking like they've been there for years. They decorated the bed but give no covers. The guy brought me a wool to cover with. It was dusty and dirty. That pretty much activated my allergens. I'm still sneezing as I'm typing this review. NO MICROWAVE. I'm not making this up; they wanted to take my food to a restaurant and heat it but I couldn't come with them. Absurd! The fridge has a couple of drinks and snacks but, be careful you'll lose your deposit if you touch them. Tempting! Just stay away! Avoid at all costs!

😠 If it wasn’t for the views, this restaurant wouldn’t be worth any stars. And no, this is not just another bad review. From the moment we arrived, the waiters seemed to be ignoring us. We waited for over an hour to order and receive our food. They gave us 1 menu for a group of 5 and by the time that...
