If we weren’t exhausted from traveling we would have left immediately. From the outside the hotel looks fine and pretty standard but the inside is a completely different story. Immediately upon entering there was an awful, moldy smell. The paint was filthy and there were holes everywhere in the room. The top lock was also ripped off the door. Walking further into the room we noticed the furniture was stained, dirty, and peeling and the flooring wasn’t level. There was no trash can in the room or bathroom. There is also black mold everywhere. Additionally, the television didn’t work either and there were sugar ants throughout the room, even on the sheets. As if that wasn’t enough, this hotel was so loud. The people at the pool were blaring music, screaming, and running for hours. Then after the pool was closed it was just the constant banging from other rooms. There is no quality to these rooms and not even worth a quarter of what we paid for a few hours of sleep before continuing traveling. The only good thing I have to say is that the front lobby is very clean and inviting and the front desk staff was kind. However, we called the front and went down to speak with them and nothing was ever fixed and no one came to the room to even bring a trash can or switch out the television. At over $100 a night this should have been better. Update: At 1245 am the woman at the front desk came up to check the room. She moved us to a new room immediately upon entering to the opposite side of the hotel that was immaculately clean and the complete opposite of the room we were originally given. Thank you for giving us a much better nights sleep sans bugs.

Update!!! We found bed bugs. We could overlook the stale cigarette smell but not the bed bugs. One had just fed on me when I squished it on the pillow. 🤢 But, because it was "past" checkout time they would not refund our room for the night. He did offer to give us another room. But would you have taken it??? Too grossed and creeped out!! weekend ruined! Thanks for the memories.... NOT! Going home. 😞 (I still say good location. Staff was nice enough. But it could use a little maintenance and now pest control.)

Even if you have to pay more, it is well worth it to stay at a better hotel or motel. That is place is absolutely horrible. Somehow this hotel has two stars, but I'm not even sure where the second start comes from. The staff is absolutely horrible. Manager can do whatever he wants as he thinks he owns you. As soon as you have checked in and paid they can do whatever they want. Between the horrible staff, the mold, with nowhere to park and with drug addicts everywhere, it's hard to call this a hotel. If you stayed in a homeless shelter, it would be a better stay than here.

IT WAS THE WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE I EVER HAD IN MY 38 YEARS OF LIVING. I WAS ON A BUSINESS TRIP, FLYING IN FROM PENNSYLVANIA. THE ROOM LOOKED CLEAN UNTIL I DISCOVERED ROACHES IN MY ROOM. I BOOKED THE ROOM FOR TWO NIGHTS. I CALLED THE FRONT DESK THE FIRST NIGHT TO COMPLAIN ABOUT THE ROACHES AND WAS TOLD TO COME DOWN IN THE MORNING TO SPEAK WITH MANAGEMENT. ALSO, “TRY TO ENJOY” THE REST OF MY NIGHT. SO, IN THE MORNING I DID AND MANAGEMENT DID NOT APOLOGIZE FOR THE INCONVENIENCE. SHE JUST ASKED DID I WANT TO CHANGE ROOMS OR JUST CHECK OUT. THEN LEFT BEFORE I COULD DECIDE WHAT I WAS GOING TO DO. SHE WAS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, SHE LEFT AND A MALE CLERK CAME TO THE FRONT DESK. HE TOLD ME I GOT WHAT I PAID FOR. IT’S NOT THE HILTON, AND EVERYBODY HAS ROACHES IN FLORIDA. THEN CALL LAW ENFORCEMENT BECAUSE I ASKED TO BE COMPENSATED FOR THE ISSUE. THEY SAID I WOULD BE REFUNDED MY MONEY FOR THE NIGHTS. THAT WAS A LIE, I WAS INFORMED BY EXPEDIA THAT THE HOTEL REFUSED TO REFUND MY MONEY. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE. THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT NEEDS TO SHUT IT DOWN!

In this area and price range, we were impressed with the cleanliness, upkeep/maintenance, and pool. We had no time our 1st night to find a neighboring hotel that was down the street and same price. It was the non-super 8. Since we had several more nights to stay, we drove and insisted on looking at the rooms at the non-quality Inn and the America's not-best inn. They too were sub par. Staying here gave us great piece of mind! In early to mid Feb., the pool was not just clean and modern but warmly heated too.

This the worst experience we have ever had. Mold could be seen from the ceiling in the bathrooms, shower curtain torn, 2 of the lights were out over the sink. Some of the rooms were infected with baby roaches, pillows were cut in half. No full plush pillows. The Clerks attitudes were nasty. The odor in each room smell old and musty, water coming from the faucet smell awful. I took some pics to verify our stay at Bates Motel. They does not deserve 1 star. We will never reserve any rooms from Indians people again!!!!!!

Run away now! This is the most disgusting hotel I have ever stayed in. It’s my fault I didn’t review it before hand and I always review. Boy, did I learn my lesson! The CONS 1. Horrible smell in the room 2. Dirty towel behind bathroom door, towels were thin and stained 3. Mold on the bed skirts 4. White stains on the bed skirts, and curtains 5. Cigarette burn on the “fancy” bed cover 6. Pillows smelled like old sweat 7. Refrigerator had ice built up with something growing on it 8. The chairs were disgusting! Like they found them at the end of college on a curb. 🤢 9. Paint peeling off doors 10. Missing light bulbs 11. No spoons at breakfast, pancake make didn’t work. Was told rudely that it did 12. Horrible traffic in the afternoon to get out of parking lot 13. I could go on but I think by now you have decided not to stay here PROS 1. Beautiful landscaping 2. Morning desk lady was nice and allowed me to look at a different room the next day (my husband was in a hurry to go see friends the first night and said we would survive the first night so I wasn’t able to change rooms) Changed to room 214 was a tiny and I mean tiny bit cleaner. I would have left after the first night but I had booked through a third party and Couldn’t get my money back. The first room was 332. DO NOT STAY HERE.

STAY AWAY !!! Room smelled rancid of mildew there was mold in the bathroom, the beds were moist ?!? The A/C was on but the room was still humid ?! Had to cancel the reservation, was promised a full refund after booking an airbnb for my vacation instead. After my trip when i was leaving i got an email saying i was only getting half my refund so i called the property the front desk person was going to speak to the manager about my complaint and they just hung up on me i called back and they said they were gunna call me back. THEY NEVER CALLED BACK!!! i sent so many emails to try to get an update about where my refund was at, NO RESPONSE!!! They never even canceled the reservation when i left so it could seem like i stayed there so i couldnt get my refund back. Based on others review about this place they do it often too.

Why is it 1/5? Let’s see: •Noisy people outside smoking pot and being extremely loud late at night. •Room is very old which features: rough towels with stains, pillows that have also stains, the sofa had cigarette burns and mold, same with the tv (no cable since the hurricane) Front desk not too cooperative with fixing problems or warning disrespectful guests to keep it down and respect other guests. Didn’t even sleep on my first night out of 5 nights I had because of those people. Just decided to go back and dealt with my powerless apartment., at least I slept peacefully there.(just hot tho) not recommend this place at all. Worst Days Inn. I ever been in.

We booked 2 rooms next to each other the bathroom ceiling were leaking, the rooms smelled musty people outside of the hotel soliciting for rides or cigarettes. We paid more than what we were told over the phone when reserving. Beds were very hard very hard to get comfortable to sleep.

Its not worth 189.00 a night even if it's a holiday. Rooms are old and have mold. Look up at the ceilings and you will find mold even in the bathroom doors because it doesn't have a fan. Bad and last experience at any Days Inn

This place was the most bizarre hotel stay I have ever had. Showed up at 11:00PM after having just flown in town. I made a reservation ahead of time. When I wen to check in, they asked me for a $100 cash deposit before they would give me the room. I told them that was not mentioned in the on line reservation. They said too bad it was their policy. Fortunately I happened to have some cash so I gave it to them. They stapled it to the receipt and kept it until I checked out the next day. I've stayed at a lot of hotels, including a lot of Days Inn's. I have never been asked for a $100 cash deposit before I check in.

This is the second time I've stayed at this hotel, and I won't be back. My first experience the room smelled like mold and had a slight odor of smoke, I travel for work and didn't mind spending a single night there. In the morning when I woke up I noticed red spots and marks all over my legs and arms. At the time, I had no proof or idea what caused it until my recent stay last night (03/09/2023). I was given room #133, there was a moldy smell coming from the room as soon as I walked through the door. I was so tired from a long day of work, I proceeded to lay down and soon after, got bite by bed bugs. I took out my phone flashlight and saw many, many bedbugs on the crevices of the bed, on my pillow. I went straight to the main lobby/reception area to speak with a manager and show them proof and show them the pillow with bedbugs. I then spoke with the manager who offered to let me stay in a different room, she apologized and said sorry. Unfortunately I didn't want to stay in another room, as I didn't feel comfortable after getting bite up from the prior room. I have pictures of the many bites I received and the bed bugs all over the mattress. I have not received a full refund as the front desk told me it would take 5 business day's to go back on my card. I ended up staying in my vehicle instead, please beware of staying the night here.

Absolutely horrendous. The room is in disrepair. They have beautified the outside, but the room is outdated and disgusting! Office chair broke, pleather is peeling, painting incomplete. Mold on bathroom wall. The breakfast is horrible. Can't bring food back to the room. Don't stay here by any means. Staff not friendly. Also the safety latch on door is broken!! We just stayed here 4/3-4/7. My Grandson almost fell off of broken chair. Mold on bathroom wall, ceiling. Doors half painted, smoke alarm not connected. Absolutely horrible!! The inside of the microwave is rusted, paint peeling off the furniture. I tried calling the office from phone in room. The phone wasn't working. They seriously need to be reported to the health department, and fire marshall for smoke alarms not working. Our fault for not doing further research. We know better next time.

Stayed one night and they charged me for 5. It is run by foreigners and have no idea what they are doing. First room we went into was never cleaned. 2nd room had stains on sheets and had a bad moldy, musty smell. Breakfast was a joke unless all you like is cereal or bagels. STAY AWAY....... Place is trash. I am glad we didn't get bed bugs. Stains on mattress showed signs of them.

It's in a good location, it's not that far from the beaches, with that being said we were there from Thursday-Sunday and never got room service. We had to ask for clean towels, the toilet, and the air conditioner broke, and there was a small cockroach cradling on the desk the first time we walked into the room. They did move us to a different room in the middle of the night (2am) when the air broke, but the toilet didn't work in that room because it leaked water all over the floor, so they had it turned off. They were nice about trying to get stuff fixed, but it was frustrating with all these problems.

It was just one night I needed a room. I checked in, they tell me NO SMOKING, NO VAPING and NO PETS. I went to the room, I was not able to walk all the way in the room. When I you open the door I can smell the smoke and mold immediately I knew I was not staying there. The bed cover are stained and the sofa looked so dirty like if they pick it up for the trash pile. About 15 min I had to take some Benadryl my allergy had flared up.

It was not At All what I expected the staff was pleasant however the pictures I saw on line and what I faced when arriving to the room was totally different. I felt like I was punked. We made do with what we faced and enjoyed the attractions

If I could give them a negative - rating I would! My friend came in town since yesterday and gave him a hard time. He booked a room for disabled and they told him that they can not give him that room… he didn’t care he just needed some rest after a long flight and ride… he let him know he has a disability and they assumed and said he doesn’t . How could you say he doesn’t have a disability and you don’t even know him??!! Cops were involved and make along story short refuse to give extend his day and he already paid for his stay!!!! Those employees need to be fired!

The 1st room check in was room #120. It was discovered that the AC work but no heat. The desk Clerk made the comment that it wasn't cold outside. I told her it's really cold in the room to me. I notice other rentals waking from office area witb :small space heaters, I was told there was no more heaters . They decide at that point to move me to ,room, #321. After waking up in early morning my legs were sore and had remarks all over them. The bed sheets had signs of Bed bugs . I requested a full refund at this point and was told no,. I was told to get off the property at once I am attaching pictures and video to show the details of this report

We walked in to our room and the smell had my 10 yr old complaining immediately. I then walked into the room to see paint peeling from the doors. Mold on the dresser next to the refrigerator. The sheets have stains all over them. The door lock is broke and the peep hole has an old receipt stuffed into it. The light switches are covered in what looks like old toothpaste. The walls all have dirt everywhere on them. Baseboards aren't white, they are broken from how dirty they are. Not even worth the $70 a night we paid to stay here.

First room smelled so bad that my kids both had a hard time breathing. My husband found black mold growing in the vents. We moved rooms. Not much better. Comforter was full of cigarette burns. Dirty. Awful customer service. Would NOT recommend.

When we got into our room, there was water all over the floor. It was coming from the mini fridge, which was warm inside. I was fine with cleaning it up and staying, but then I checked the bed before getting in, and there were tiny bugs crawling along the crevices of the mattress. Not sure if they were bed bugs or something else, but that was enough for me to leave. The front desk staff offered to move our room but refunded us without a problem when we requested a refund instead. It was a little concerning though when she told me the rooms had just been inspected. I was also told when I called the day before that they had a shuttle that could take us to the airport. When I arrived, I was then told there was no shuttle.

Sleep, shower & go. We traveled to the area short notice. Nothing else was available. The property appeared acceptable, newly renovated and less than $325 per/night. Overall everything was okay but the internet sucked. The door frame was wonky, not flush/snug fit. Light was easily seen through the space b/w the door & frame. The air conditioner made the room feel damp. There was visible mold on the bathroom ceiling & vents. Pretty yucky. Housekeeping did clean the room daily & changed our towels which was good.

Room stank of chemicals to cover the smell of mold, knife and crumbs next to the dresser. Worker touching himself which he then went on to touch the condiments. Cannabis smoking outside. Me and my children felt unsafe to be here. Hairs also left in plug and cigarette burns left in the sheets. I left feeling sick from the chemicals and as I already suffer from chest problems the smell made My chest close up which I then couldn’t stop coughing

This hotel is not clean. Towels and sheets were dirty and they had holes. Bathroom was dirty. Staff members did not resolved this issue. Do not stay in this hotel. Look for better options nearby

When i got there i was given a room. There was mold in the bathrooms, the lampshades were stained! We were switched to a room which was just as bad. Front desk Tami, needs to loose her job. When we went to talk to her about how upset we were she asked my husband to not be upset because she is not used to being talked to when someone is upset because she is a Black Woman! To say the least for someone to feel that way should not be in the customer service field. Overall we left 1 day early and cut our trip short! Other people were also there complaining about issues with their room. As i was walking to our car to leave. Tami continued with her badgering and yelling while other people were around. She proceeded to yell black is beautiful! She made this while situatio. Worse. Not even if its your last resort dont ever stay here. Not only will you be in a filthy room, you will also have to deal with Tami who clearly has sensitivity issues with someone of another race.

Just stayed here overnight, but no major complaints. Couldn't beat the rate we got compared to other places nearby, the room and bedding were clean. Pillows need replaced. Location is great, quick drive to the beach and close to great food and fun downtown attractions. Perfect for what we needed along our road trip! Would stay here again if needed.

The room I stayed in at Days Inn exceeded my expectations in every aspect. It was spotlessly clean, and meticulously maintained. The comfortable bed, fresh linens, and well-appointed bathroom ensured a relaxing and pleasant stay. The inclusion of complimentary toiletries and in-room amenities like a coffee maker and mini-fridge added a thoughtful touch to the overall experience. One aspect that truly stood out during my stay was the outstanding customer service exhibited by the hotel staff. They were attentive, approachable, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure guest satisfaction. Whether it was accommodating special requests or providing local recommendations, their unparalleled professionalism and genuine care for guests were truly commendable. Thank you, Days Inn, for making my stay an unforgettable one. I eagerly look forward to future visits.

The location is within 5 minutes of the airport which is great. That is the highlight of staying here. The room was filthy. The floors had not been cleaned in who knows how long. We took our shoes off and they were black within minutes. The bathroom smelled moldy and paint was chipping off the ceiling when you would use the bathroom. Oh…the toilet kept clogging. The elevator had no permit displayed that it was legal to operate. All areas inside and out need a good cleaning, painting and updating. I’d stay here only if you had no other choice. There are a lot cleaner places in the same area. Will not stay here again.

I'm not sure how they are in business. I've stayed in some not so great places before but this one takes the cake. Sheets were filthy (visible to the eye) as well as the blankets. Towel (the ONE that they provided for the entire room) had big black tar looking spots on it. I would give it zero stars if it let me.
