Hands down the best roof top bar in south east Asia! The view at sunset is fantastic, full 360’c and you can take a photo on an infinity glass stage. Drinks are great, but expensive for Thailand at around 490 baht but worth it for the view and the quality of the cocktail.

A very lovely place of bangkok city to spend a time with your loved ones. The view is spectacular and amazing. The Bar is at located at 61st floor of the hotel banyan tree. You can directly reach there by metro train or hiring any taxi. Metro station is at walking distance of 5 minutes from the banyan tree hotel. The drinks were costly but it was good. They made a desk to take the photo of this amazing view. There is also a restaurant opposite side. All seats mostly full. You have wait for empty chairs. They do not reserve seats for bar but they reserve table for restaurant.

Went to the 64 floor asking for sky bar - lots of nodding and greeting as they escorted us right onto another elevator and down the the 61st floor to a different bar. Fortunately we had seen reviews on here and were wise to it, but had to refuse to get off the elevator before they would take us back up to the 64th floor(sky bar). Very scammy vibes from this place ruined the experience - I would never go back or even recommend it to anyone. The view was good but couldn’t even see the temples(so could have been a bit better- it was all skyline(which is still great).

Incredible 360 view worth come check out even if you don’t live in the hotel. Definitely need a reservation… we went on a whim and had a drink at the bar while waiting for a table to open up. The staff is incredible at making sure you have a proper picture take. With the incredible background. They are super pro at making sure your poses and lighting is right (with their own flashlight) 😂

Very amazing view! U will love it specially if its the first time visiting the city! The bar has a variety of options. It’s not the normal price you may find in Bangkok! It’s like having a cocktail in a bar somewhere in Europe! So, expect to pay relatively a lot. Also, for men, they had an special rule that it’s not allowed to wear sandals or flip flops. U have to wear socks! Basically its considered wrong for men to show off their toes. So, be aware!!! All and all, this place is only for the view! Its not the highest! But definitely one of the bests for its kind. I’m glad we visited here!!

Made a reservation through Banyan Tree Front desk for myself and 4 clients. Turnded out the rooftop bar was full and our reservation did not went through. We were refused entry. I really think a 5 star hotel should do better than that.

The place is nice but if you don't have a place to sit can become a nightmare. Even with a place it is quite difficult to really enjoy since the amount of people surrounding to you won't let enjoy your drink. I believe that the bar management want that everyone enjoy the place but it should be some limitation. We got a place but you have to see in front of you only people making pictures. It just impossible to enjoy, it is impossible since the quality of the drinks are quite good and the service also.

Amazing view and great staff!!! Cocktail prices are not that expensive, taking into consideration that the bar is on the 60th floor with this view: 500baht per cocktail (+7% tax + 10% tips). Totally recommend the Moon Bar!

Beautiful vibe. So many beautiful ladies and gentlemen dressed up there and every minute u can see people is taking photos. Because the view is really breathtaking.

Staff is friendly, view is great and they make you dress up for it. Unfortunately all that dressing up is for nothing. The cocktails were terrible and cost 550 each. For that money you get gin that tastes like gordons dry gin and a schweppes tonic water. For 550!

I celebrated my bday here with a bunch of friends and we didn’t eat here but we just had a few drinks 🍹 to watch the sunset and to enjoy the view!! The drinks were quite expensive though but of course you see an unobstructed view of Bangkok & beyond!! We all had a great time and stayed til after the sunset then went to eat elsewhere as we couldn’t find a table to sit and eat! Service could use improvements but overall it was spectacular 😊🥰🙏🏼

OMG !!! Bar on Rooftop !!! Moonbar is awesome place to have drink and enjoy the view. On 61st floor of Banyan Tree, Moon bar will give you 360 view of Bangkok city. My personal view, drinks are economical not too much expensive. View from the top is breathtaking. Yes it will get crowded as Sun goes down. Staff is professional in managing crowd. Pro tip - Better to visit after 06:00, so that you can enjoy both sunset and night view in pleasent breeze. After we are done drinking, we should leave if people are waiting in queue. Respect that vibe from staff.

We had an excellent evening at the Moon bar, then at Vertigo. The place is magical and the view breathtaking. Just one small regret, that in this beautiful place the dress code was not respected. It's a shame that people in shorts and flip-flops were allowed in.

The Moon Bar is pretty nice, if you want to see Bangkok from a Rooftop. Not going to lie, but the view was amazing. Obviously, you have to buy something at the bar. The cheapest drink I could find on the menu was a 0.5l still water bottle (approximately 5-6€). Along with your drink, you'll get some snacks as well + they play nice jazz music.

Incredible rooftop bar, prices are not low but similar to other bars in the city that have a significant worse view and drinks quality. Even if the place looks elegant, all waiters have been extremely polite and even offered to take pictures to clients. The only issue is that obviously it is difficult to find a table

One of the tallest and cozy rooftop in Bangkok skyline scene. Just at the beginning of sathorn road is located at the top of the Bayantree hotel. A lift will bring you up to the 59th floor and another 3 floor will be on foot. No open shoes allowed for men,but they will provide socks in case you have sandals. Drinks are more expensive than regular bar in Bangkok given the exclusivity of the place. View is breathtaking and the rooftop is quite narrow, you feel on a tall needle in the hearth of Bangkok. Make sure you stay up there during the sunset to enjoy both daytime and night time of a 360 degree view of the entire city. Recommended at least one time while in Bangkok.

Very good service by waiter AOR at the roof top bar. She's very friendly and explained to us the food and drinks that we ordered. Recommended 👍 Wanted to try their dinner but was told to wait until 930pm as it was full house already. Tried their bar foods and drinks are nice as well. Best to make a reservation before heading down to the dinning area.

Great views of the city, some seating is much better than others, unfortunately even though plenty of decent viewing seats had been empty the whole time we was eating and we was booked in a club room for two nights and we booked without a voucher just cash customer, we got a mediocre table. Apart from not having as good an experience as some other customers, i enjoyed the food, service, cocktails and views.

Overview is nice. Drinks are 400+ baht, quite expensive and alright in taste. Didn’t like Shirley temple no 3 mocktail, it was way too sweet. Fire and blossom is refreshing and not bad. Not too sweet. Would recommend for non-alcohol drinks

The Banyan Tree Hotel's Moon Bar kickstarted the rooftop trend and, as Bangkok continues to grow at a mad pace, the view from 61 floors up only gets better. Arrive well before sunset and grab a coveted seat to the right of the bar for the most impressive views. Save your shorts and sandals for another locale.

View was amazing!!! Staff was super friendly!!! But the drink (Pattaya sour) was probably the worst cocktail I ever had. Wasn’t expecting good a good cocktail, but just didn’t get how they could make it so bland (didn’t get COVID). All I tasted was a tiny bit of alcohol. The experience should’ve been perfect if the drinks were like normal cocktails.

Go for sunset and have a few drinks. It's expensive, but the view is worth it. Be mindful of the dress code as it is strictly enforced on some occasions.

The bar has an amazing view of Bangkok, great place to have a drink with your partner and take photos. There was no need for reservation.

Really liked the vibe, there is a 800bht per person minimum consumption but honestly worth it, the cocktails are amazing and they bring you little chips to munch on with it. We went a little before 8pm and had no wait/line at all

We tried to go to Moon Bar, we are group of vacationers who came from Phuket and some of us don't have any long pants. I went on a call with them and tried to push to make an exception cause we wanted to check it out and they refused. I understand it's their policy but they should accommodate exceptions like this

Lovely rooftop bar on top of Banyan tree hotel with great night time views. Not need to book but it can get busy. Choice of cocktail and a couple of beers. Drinks are a little expensive.

I went to the Moon Bar to have a drink there. I ordered a mocktail (Rainbow in My Backyard) for almost 11 USD including taxes. The cocktail was watery and tasteless. It is not worth it at all. I can't recommend this place. Don't waste your money.

Nice view with great service. However, when I were there, they took us to the table that can't see the view even though there were a lot of table that were still available with a better view. So I need to ask for changing. So if you don't like your seat,you can ask a better one.

Incredible view from the top. Love the crowd and the music. It could be windy so be careful of loose items. The food is overprice but you pay it for the view, I guess. There’s a dining area and bar. Reservation is recommended especially for weekend because this place is always packed!

Exciting atmoshere. Try the Italian cheese and tomato appetizers. The side dish of asperagus was like a meal. Soft shell crabs were delicious.

Set on the rooftop of Banyan Tree, this is one of the most beautiful sky bars in Bangkok. Service is fantastic with the staff proactively asking and helping patrons to take photos 😊.

Obviously a breathtaking view. People can get a great picture even without paying for a drink. Shorts were not a problem to get in. Weirdly enough, after barman put our cocktails on the bar table it took like 15 minutes for the waitress to bring them to us. Kind of overpriced for Bangkok and for such service.

Being on top of Bangkok is an exhilarating experience. Standing on the plank overlooking the city gave me Vertigo! Drinks were ok, but the view is breathtaking!

This is easily one of the best rooftop bars I've ever been to. 360 degree views, no structures to impede your sight line. An excellent spot for sunset or nighttime views. Creative cocktail selections, a d full bar for standard drinks and good beer selection. They have a small bite menu for snacks. There is a dress code, so make sure your attire fits. Love this place, a must visit spot when in Bangkok.

The most amazing roof top I ever been. It’s real 360 bar where you see the whole city. The bar constructed as pyramid with 3 levels. So the last level is smaller and you are feeling like you are on the top of the world. Relaxing music, good cocktails making this place with a great atmosphere. I agreed to meet here with fellow, but I felt so good sitting there by myself while I was waiting. Totally recommend?)

My last visit was 10 years and last night the Moon Bar did not disappoint. Wonderful service. Friendly, welcoming and attentive staff from the ground floor up. Amazing food, snacks and drinks. I would return.

The view was otherworldly

Vertigo Moon Bar has been one of the coolest rooftop bars for years in Bangkok. However lately the dress code is not being enforced and generally it is overrun by tourists, so if you are looking for a quieter environment, book seating at the restaurant rooftop, or Vertigo too downstairs. In both cases, the menu is very limited and generally 1000 Baht per plate and 500 Baht per drink, the premium for enjoying a nice view.
