Really good food, too small space inside the restaurant but at least the terrace was sunny today. Personal is friendly and really kind. Entrecot was fantastic and I ordered with Humitas (typical from South America. If you are around here, visit and eat in this place.

The best steak in the town. Excellent staff who always treat you amazing. You definitely get what you pay for. Make sure you book in the summer months

Happened this place while exploring Saumur. My husband had the salmon salad and I had the chicken skewer with chimichuri sauce and fries. Both were delicious. And the view of the church, and people watching, was great. They even welcomed our dog and gave him a bowl of water. We were very happy with our meal and plan to return.

The worst steak house I've had so far. They cook your steak in the steam oven! We came for evening service, first welcome was nice, the staff got us a table but after waiting around 20 minutes nobody came to serve us (while there were 3 staff during the service). Finally one staff came to take our orders, but before we finished ordering for the wines, he took the menu book and left. So we had no wines, not even a sip of water until the end of our visit. Nobody paid attention to us, and my steak came out medium-rare (when i ordered for well-done). We asked the staff to fix it, and the chef in the kitchen just threw my plate in a steam-oven! When my plate came back to me, the meat was blend and watery, tasteless, not even decent to be served for the price they charged you for. When I complained, their answer was just "If the customer asks us a well-done steak, we always put it in steam oven. That's how we do it." What a disrespect for food and for customers. The chef was the worst, if you cannot make a proper well-done steak, stop calling your place a steak house. Not everybody eat rare or medium steak. At least if you cannot make one, just refuse to accept the customers from the beginning. The only thing that good was one of the three staff that tried his best working here and there while the others did not.

After reading the great reviews I really wanted to try this place. On 2 different occasions I went the 1st time they seemed quite full and the owner said she is too busy to have a table for 1 person, it seemed rude but I thought I misheard her. The 2nd evening I noticed they were quiet with many tables available. Again she said she is completely full, saying that when you have many tables free is just rude! Luckily there are so many better places around, I travel alone often and this is the first time I was made to feel that unwelcome.

Really good food (quality and taste) for meat lovers ! (Select the Tomahawk to share if available). Especially with the Cimicurri sauce ! Quality wine served as well. Staff dymanic and friendly.

Nice selection plate of 4 beef cut. Nice south American beef. A very good steakhouse in Saumur. They got really nice Sunday live music and the terrace on the Saint Pierre Church Place is very relaxing. Great atmosphere. Staff is cool and they take the time to explain if you have any question about the dishes. Price are fair enough for the quality. Recommanded.

Great food, drinks and service! Good value.

The filet is super great, asked for medium plus but it was still a bit too pink for my liking. After my dish was send back to the kitchen, it was perfect and I even got fresh warm fries. The staff is also super kind!

Spent a day in Saumur whilst staying over in Parcay Les Pins for Le Mans, and of all the options available this was a nice chilled restaurant in a great setting in the square. Fantastic selection of clean & fresh food, local wines and great service from the team.

Very cosy atmosphere and good food. The service was excellent. Busy in the evening, so better reserve table in advance.
