Forest Cafe

Cafe Coffee store

👍👍 I think it is a Korean owned coffee shop and they know how to make good drink. I like the Dalgona coffee. Sweetness comes from the sugar crunch on top but not too sweet. Tasty coffee for sure (I think they use the bean from De Mello). The space is full of light, clean and chic! Chocolate chip cookie... Amazing little cafe! The interior is amazing and the food is also well made. The coffee was a nice brew and the brownie I ordered was fluffy and in general delightful. The pastries are a must get and goes really well with any drink you would order. The presentation also looks inviting l, great for pictures.

This is a cute coffee shop located near Fairview Mall. There is lots of street parking. The ambience is very lively and the decor is cozy and welcoming with lots of seats. There are lots of baked goods to choose from. My partner and I tried the spinach with feta pastry and the beef sausage roll - both were delicious. The iced vanilla latte was great. The iced dalgona was good but it needed to be sweetened - not sure if this was a one off experience. I signed up for the loyalty card when there. It requires a minimum gift card purchase of $50 but in return, 10% off is given on all drinks moving forward - pastries are not included but it’s definitely worth it if you plan on returning. I can’t wait for the blended drinks to return in the summer!

A great cozy Korean cafe. The space is nicely decorated and airy, with lots of natural light and seating available. They serve your standard espresso-based drinks as well as some unique drink and bakery items, such as their their iced dalgona latte topped with dalgona candy. All in all, this is a great spot to read a book, hang out with friends, or study.

Their signature - Dalgona Coffee and Einspanner are great. Bakery is amazing and taste great. Also the store will be a great place to spend your afternoon and relax after pandemic. Price is reasonable, similar to Starbucks. As a coffee drinker, I found: Dalgona - if you like creamy, and balance taste , right sweetness, this is a good choice. Einspanner - if you like strong taste, but not as strong as espresso, this would be your drink.

This cafe gave off warm and relaxing vibes, perfect for chilly days! Place was a bit crowded and we struggled to get a seat, which was understandable considering we visited on a Sunday late afternoon. Foodwise, we got a black sesame croffle which was great! Croffle was buttery and crunchy, and the sauce was rich with the right consistency🥐💖

Chill weekend morning vibes, cute space, excellent for hangouts, catch ups, dates, or people watching. Park near the community center :) Had the pour over coffee with Ethiopian beans, black. 9/10 aroma, 9/10 taste, 8/10 strength. My friends ordered the Iced Dalgona with milk and Rose Mallow tea, great feedback for both. Chocolate cookies are not made in house but they are delivered fresh every morning from a trusted source (gotta visit it for the taste :)).

Lovely ambience !!! Such a warm place if you want to have a nice and peaceful place to work with coffee. I also tried their Lotus Cupcake which tasted ok. Overall, decent experience. Most of their coffee had only Regular size and not small size and regular size itself was as huge as a large size (they’ve clearly labelled which ones have the small size).

I saw this place on tic tok and was worried it wasn’t going to live up to the hype, BUT I was pleasantly surprised! The whole place is super comfy and serve up drinks I haven’t seen anywhere else in Toronto yet! I personally love their soda series, but their coffee is really rich too. There is plenty of space to work and relax, I just wish I lived closer so I could come more often 😅.

Forest cafe is a local establishment. The staff are friendly and informative of their menu. I personally tried the daldongnae this time around and it tasted good. The place was quite busy with a lot of students studying, limited seating was available. They also have a variety of pastries available.

What a pleasant surprise finding this cafe near Fairview. Tucked away in a quite area, it was the perfect spot to catch up with a friend over coffee. Lovely interior, clean and friendly staff. Tried their signature Dalgona coffee 5/5, London Fog Tea Latte 4/5, Yuzu Citrus Tea 3/5, and Mango Yogurt Smoothie 4/5. Came back another day to get the Dalgona coffee again (so good) and tried Rose Mallow Iced Tea 2/5. I wouldn’t come here for their tea blended drinks but their coffee really suit my taste. Looking forward to coming back to try their pastries!

Nice aesthetic and ambiance with decor such as lighting and big plants. Nice comfortable seating and tables to work at. Prices similar to any trendy downtown cafe. Really nice spot, definitely needed for the area and brings a nice, cozy character. Will return!

This is such a lovely place and is an aesthetically pleasing cafe. We had cafe mocha, tomato olive bistro and spinach and feta bistro here. The food is amazing and the coffee is the best with delicious cream on top. The cafe is famous for its croffle where they bake the croissant in the waffle machine. The Christmas decorations in the cafe right now are also very pretty. It is a must visit.

Very soothing environment to have a chat, quick bite to eat, coffee to drink, or specialty drinks. Pet-friendly and wheelchair/stroller accessible and roomy for everyone. One downside, parking is only available at the community centre or street parking.

The coffees (einspenner and sweet cream cold brew latte) was okay. I wanted to try the blooming moments smoothies/latte but they weren’t available yet. The sausage bun was good. I felt that the employees weren’t the friendliest. + visited again and the male staff was very friendly! The cloud smoothie and the choco croffle was good. Love the establishment and their aesthetics!

The environment is quite bourgeois, there is a new community centre nearby, it is good for parents to sit while children are playing. I ordered a forest sandwich, the knife provided is not sharp enough to cut, the bottom of the bread is full of sauce, and can not be held by hand, it is more troublesome, should consider whether it is convenient for customers to eat. A large coffee ➕ a sandwich costs about $23, which is slightly more expensive than the average coffee shop.

Absolutely love this cafe. Some lattes can be made cold too and thats amazing! Everything is delicious and right as it opens, its busy. Keep in mind that any food outside of treats may take 15 to 20 minutes but its worth the wait.

Good service, tasty food (good amount of options), and atmosphere. We visited during a busy time, so the indoor seating was pretty full and we had to at sit at little tables outside, was a little cool/cold/windy that day, but hopefully next time we visit when it's not crowded and enjoy the lovely indoor area. Definitely will come again. UPDATE: Came again, got to try the matcha cookie, croissant sandwich, and iced americano which were all nice. Not crowded when we came on a Thursday morning. (Breakfast Combo deal was nice: croissant sandwich & americano)

It's an alright cafe, good investment from the owner into the ambiance and beauty of the cafe. Very well designed and beautiful interiors. People usually come here to work on their macs and have a coffee. Coffee is not very good sorry to say. I felt it was a bit over rated. Again, good job on the interiors and design, but in terms of the actual coffee maybe could do better. Prices are on the higher side too because of the area. Competitor coffee shops have better prices and stronger coffees. Prices of the novelty items like soaps, jugs, etc aren't mentioned so it's awkward to ask the cashier everytime. Maybe I'll come another time to try the other food items and check the taste.

One of my favourite cafes to get work done at uptown! There are plugs, wifi, and it’s relatively quiet during the weekdays. They also have really unique drinks and my go to is the Einspanner which is an americano with sweet cream on top. One thing is that parking may be a little hard to find and you will have to parallel park

Cute and cozy cafe with friendly staff and creative menu. I had one of their signature“croffle” and I liked it is. They creatively make a waffle using puff pastry dough! So tastes like croissants but less airy. Mine was cream berries option an I liked the taste of it’s cream and mixed berry jam topping, not too sweet. My drink was london fog and loved it.

Really loved this place. It is very nice and cozy and they have a wide selection of beverages. They definitely brew a really good coffee and I highly recommend trying either the cold brew or the sweet vanilla cold brew. Definitely will be stopping by this place again!

Adorable neighbourhood cafe. My fav go to drink is the Dalgona Latte (hot or cold) The baked treats like croissants 🥐 are delicious as well. It’s a cute and quiet cafe you can set up and work in as well. Parking is not great because if the location so it’s hard to find parking. Service and food are great with lots of Korean inspired drinks and baked goods. They also offer milk alternatives and have a changing menu of treats and drinks as they seasons change.

I had the croffle and an einspanner, the croffle was delicious however the coffee was bland or felt watered down (similar to that of tim hortons brew coffee) and did not mix well with the cream in the einspanner. The service was great however it was fully packed even past 2pm and I had to sit at the bar facing the window that did not have any blinds. I was dying from the blazing sun and left shortly after, thus don’t recommend this cafe for work/study.

Wonderful little cafe in North York! Their coffee is great and the baked goods are delightful. Been coming here for a while and am glad there's some outdoor seating! Normally get an americano but went for the cream cold brew today. A+

We stumbled upon this place on a fine spring sunday morning while roaming around Fairview mall. The ambiance was warm, inviting, and friendly. Their coffee and croissant sandwich were not that bad either. Cool place for hang out and chill.

Every town needs a great neighborhood cafe. @forestcafe.toronto is one of the comforting and relax neighborhood cafés where everyone is welcome. It’s also one of the best cafes where people can seat and enjoy some “me” time or with friends or families. You can seat and read books or work. Last weekend I was here for friends gathering. I ordered a large Black Sesame Latte (on the right). We spent the whole afternoon to enjoy the best barista made beverage and chit-chat time. Service was friendly and beyond. It’s a perfect place to lay back and unwind. Love this local neighborhood cafe. I will be back. Thanks @forestcafe.toronto for the wonderful environment and beverage and of course most importantly the friendly service

All full caz nearly all guests are using notebook like in library. Same guests group there before and after we finished our coffee over 1/2 hr and leaving. Hope guests can put more consideration on the merchants!! The latte art is no good but the coffee is so far so good!

Stumbled upon this cozy cafe. I tried the matcha latte, which was smooth but a tad too sweet. The cocoa hazelnut croissant had a nice crunch and was light and flakey.

Sandwich is very basic with limited options, cold croissant. Ordered a latte, coffee tasted mild. Usually very occupied with people sitting there using laptops.

Great experience at Forest Cafe. We had the Dalgona Coffee, a caramel macchiato, a hazelnut croissant and a berry croffle. It was all really well balanced, not too sweet. Hazelnut croissant was one of the best I’ve ever had. We will definitely be back.

Really lovely cafe! I love the vibes (such cute interior) and the staff are lovely. Super yummy looking baked goods and pastries, and a nice drink selection. Also saw so many people having croissant sandwiches and they looked so yum Overall: 5/5

Nice and spacious café with reasonably priced and tasty drinks. It's close to Fairview Mall and a neighbourhood park. I tried the royal milk tea latté, black sesame latté, and yuzu citrus tea! All very yummy.

Food - The drinks/coffee are as advertised and met my expectations. The savory crosswind sandwich is just very basic and nothing special - it might be worth the money to stick to sweets and drinks here instead of a savory meal. Service - Quick, friendly, and professional. Can't ask for more. Ambiance - The cafe was very cute. It is a great place to work or read (free wifi). Clean and bright.

I've only tried this drink so far and coming back for more, but I wish it was not as sweet. The flavour was great but it can be 50% less sweeter imo. Other than that, great atmosphere and all. I'll try to update on different items every time I go back. -Aug 3, 22

My absolute favourite coffee shop! Everything is just so good. During the summer, my go-to is the iced dalgona and during the cooler months, my go-to is the hey oat latte. However, you really can’t go wrong with anything on their menu! Would highly recommend. Also their croffles are so yummy!!! We always order them.

Coffee was okay but sandwich and baked goods are great. Loved the cafe vibe. Cute place for a date too BUT limited parking space. I found it to be pricier than other cafe places I've been to that offer more variety too but it could be the real estate of where it's located perhaps.
