Great place for an overnight between flights, but bit out of the way if on vacation in Amsterdam even though its super easy to reach the city by train located in the connecting terminal if you have time for some sightseeing. Rooms are nice, and good facilities in the hotel, like gym/spa, restaurant, conference rooms and an executive lounge. I would have liked to see a few more food/snack options in the lounge

Absolutely fabulous architecture and design, very polite service at the front desk, but unfortunately not the cleanest. I stayed for 2 nights for a conference I was chairing at the hotel conference center. We had a group discount for conference attendees, and I am not sure if that was the reason my room didn’t get cleaned everyday? But even before that, when I checked in and came into the room- one of the pillows had a big thick, long hair on it. And since the sheets were pure white and smooth it was hard to miss. I stood there awhile confused and even thinking in disbelief that May be it was just my hair, but I haven’t even come close there yet, and I have a different color and structure hair. I was so tired from the flight and a long day prepping for the conference I didn’t bother and just used the other pillow, which seemed clean and so the sheets, and hoping everything else was clean and I wouldn’t find another hair somewhere. Unfortunately, when I opened the toilet seat there were couple of hairs there.. I washed the toilet myself with the soap and toilet paper and the Kleenex paper. The curtains of the window had some stains, since they are light curtains they are quite visible if you come close. I loved the room design, it’s very spacious very nice to do work at the desk and the nice chair and couch, but wish it was cleaner… I didn’t even have time to complain or make a fuss about it, request to change rooms or get it cleaned as I was quite stressed and focused on the conference where I had to give the opening- closing speeches and moderate discussions that I really didn’t have the brain space to deal with it. But oh hell no if I have to choose a room that’s over 250€ a night and it’s not clean, next time is a no.

Next to the terminal. Perfect location for early flight departure or late flight arrival. Nice room, spacious, and great view of the runaway. One of the best I’ve been. Food was delicious too.

Amazing location, good breakfast spread, poor in room dining experience, extremely poor service levels. It's great to take in interns for staffing, but the onus of training them to ensure guests have a good experience is on the hotel management. Simple things like a dental kit or a shaving kit should be in the room, I shouldn't have to be told to collect it from the reception because "there's no one here :)"

5 min walk from the airport. Very well located, if you travel a lot and missed a flight, that's the place to stay. Nice 4 cheese pizza.

I had a good time with my family, staying at Hilton Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. perfect location connected to the airport, we did enjoy ourselves from checking in to checking out, the staff were friendly and helpful especially Maria at reception, who's never hesitate to offer help. she was really kind at all the times. rooms were clean, the lounge in 10th floor very nice, the breakfast is perfect. overall the hotel is outstanding. I will definitely book this hotel again in the future, and strongly recommend it to family and friends. stayed on 27/05/23 - 31/05/23

Staff here are all excellent, and this is really what made our stay. The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The family room that we were in was arranged in such a way that made it quite difficult to navigate sometimes (small corners etc). Bathroom was spacious. Breakfast had ample selection of traditional fare. Can't beat the convenience of being a few mins walk away from the airport!!

Spacious and beautifully appointed rooms. It was clean and well designed, artfully and functional. I did notice my room didn't have the usual bathroom amenities included (eg, toothbrush, etc) but it can be requested. The hotel itself is about an 8 min walk from the airport terminals, but it is all indoors and sheltered, so this wasn't a problem for me. On check in and out, the reception staff was friendly and efficient. They had suites available and upgraded me for free, which was very nice. The hotel already had a later checkout time than most, but given my departure time was 2:30pm, I asked and was granted a 1pm checkout. The restaurant was closed by the time I arrived, but the lobby bar still served food. I ordered a prawn stir-fry and pint, it was delicious. The lobby also has a 24hr self service general store, which was convenient. Given it's location within the airport and the cost compared to neighbouring Sheraton, I would stay here again.

Nice stylish hotel close to airport. The architecture and size make it feel a bit in-personal in a way. Your can reach the airport via a terminal / indoor hallway. Rooms are okay size wise. We stayed with three in one room. The lobby is big with lots of seating. Also screens with live flight information. Breakfast was good but not that many options to choose from. One of best options from all hotels at Schiphol.

Greatly located inside airport grounds. Fantastic updated and super clean. Only downside is the fact that Hilton Netherlands has some unusually hard bed mattresses in their rooms. Not easy to fall asleep.

Great option if you want to stay close to the airport. Connected to the terminals via indoor walkway. Will provide luggage carts upon request, so you can manage your luggage on your way to the terminal. Friendly service. Rooms are small but efficient. Bathrooms are generous sized. Reasonable rates for Amsterdam. Hotel restaurant is pretty decent.

My wife and I stayed at the Hilton Schiphol airport for 4 nights. The place is really comfortable and very close to the airport. Even my office is very close to Hilton. The only drawback I felt was the food. The food menu had very limited options. Most of the time we went to the airport to eat.

This is a very nice airport hotel. This airport Hilton was a shockingly pleasant surprise. It’s a large beautiful updated property attached to the Amsterdam airport. We opted for a suite which faces inward, was well decorated, included a gorgeous large master bath and a half bath off the living area. We paid for a room with lounge access but the lounge hours and offerings were limited. Upon arrival my wife was able to get only a soda as I checked in and it closed basically as we arrived which was before 8pm local. The lovely in-room mini bar made up for the lack of lounge service but meant we were doubling up on costs. The spa was available even without spa service. We used the soaking tub and rain showers which were very relaxing and a nice treat before heading back home the next morning. I looked into a spa service before departure but it was fully booked. Plan ahead if you have time for a spa service. This has to be the nicest Hilton I’ve ever seen. If only Hiltons were this nice in the USA. For travel in and out of AMS, this hotel is very much a pleasure to use.

Rooms are quite small but since it's walkable from airport and metro station, it's must preferred. Another option is Sheraton. Service is poor. Only 2 guys at bar counter. We have to find them to place order. Room cleaning staff won't touch your things. They will just adjust bed. That's it. They might take away water bottles that you bought by mistake. Room temperature control is bit tricky. Limited option to vary temperature and fan speed. I didn't get laundry paper once I sent my clothes to laundry first time. Once they missed my room dine in. I had to wait for 40 mins and cancel it by myself. Slept without any food and just water that day. It was already very late by then.

A really beautiful hotel with great amenities and a perfect location to both the airport and Amsterdam central if you are looking for a cheaper hotel. However I feel like the hotel doesn’t quite understand its demographic. The rooms are beautiful and many have stunning views of the airport & runway. They are well isolated so you don’t hear any noise from the planes. The showers are nice rainfall showers. The gym is great and so is the whirlpool and sauna/steam room. My issues come with the setup of the hotel and the service. Before arriving I had called the hotel asking for the sofa bed in my room to be setup, this was not done. During the stay we called house keeping asking for some extra towels and pillows, but instead they delivered robes. And in both the restaurant and the cocktail bar, parts of our orders were forgotten. It just felt a little inconsistent. I also believe the setup of the hotel services weren’t built for the the fact this is an airport hotel. Customers come and go at all times of the day and night for their flights. But the restaurant closes at 10pm, far too early for late night arrivals, who are most likely to need to book an airport hotel. The executive lounge closes at 9pm. And the all night room service is just cheese pizza. (Really good pizza) but still just pizza. We enjoyed our stay and would return but not if we were having a late landing.

Amazingly convenient (literally a 7 min indoor walk from the baggage claim). When I called the hotel, the receptionist (Lars) gave excellent instructions which ensured we knew where we were going. The hotel is beautifully crafted with plenty of amenities, bars, and eats!

Nothing to complain about here. Breakfast was great and huge. And we were able to go enjoy the whirlpool with my daughter to relax. Lounge was great too and I am glad I brought my baby chemist to let her enjoy the evening reception. Room was exceptionally quiet, we had a white noise and we could have a shower and use hair dryer without waking her up. Staff were excellent at reception and in the lounge. Thank you for everything

We looked for an airport by the hotel and this is the best airport hotel I've ever stayed at. The rooms were very nice, the shower was amazing and huge, and you are connected to the airport and can walk there in 5 minutes. We had a room on the 11th floor that looked out into the airport so you could watch the planes.

Convenient location and truly wonderful for being in the Center of such a busy airport. So quiet and peaceful you’d easily forget where you are! Rooms are simple and clean. Beds are comfy. Gym and sauna area are top!! Food is slightly pricy but delicious. Cocktails are well made and good. My only reason for 4 stars is the service. Some of the staff (bartender - blond short grumpy young guy) could use a brush-up on customer service! Paying customers are not children and please mind your complaints but I get it…it’s an airport and constant jet-lagged customers who may or may not be that nice. Still, I’d recommend this place in a heartbeat and will definitely stay again!!

This hotel is absolutely perfect. It saved me from another of these bad days at Schiphol airport when your trip is cancelled after waiting for long hours in the horrible Schiphol airport. The rooms are perfect, quiet and good to rest and the breakfast very complete. There is a direct passage to the terminal. Very convenient.Thank you for making my life better!

Hotel is attached to the airport which makes it perfect for catching an early morning flight. Rooms are large, clean and comfortable. Loved the hot tub, steam room and sauna and a workout gym is available. Nice restaurant in the hotel but a little pricey. Quiet for being next to an airport.

Our flights cancelled we found ourselves having to stay the night (book a hotel ASAP.) We found this gem, the room has a huge walk in shower, tea and coffee services, and the staff are incredibly friendly, the restaurant food was very good, also a short walk inside Schiphol airport to the main reception.

Off the charts....the best Hilton I have ever stayed at. This is so much more than an "airport hotel." This Hilton does everything first class and is much more like a spa or resort than a standard hotel. The Hilton Amsterdam Airport is on another level when compared to other hotels. The staff was also fantastic...I spent 5 days here and hated to leave.

What an amazing place to stay at. Super modern. Light. Amazing atrium. Great rooms. I'll come back whenever I get a chance to. Exactly my kind of hotel! The restaurant is also amazing. Enjoyed the breakfast. Absolutely recommend!

10 minute walk from the airport with excellent transport connections into Amsterdam. Large, clean and well equipped room. Friendly and efficient staff. Excellent breakfast. A bit on the pricey side but the airline was paying.

Amazing hotel, with the most practical location for my trip - right at the airport and can be accessed by just walking through covered walkways. Superb architecture that stands out from inside and out. Excellent event halls and facilities too. The staff are also professional and quite helpful. Would have been nice to have wider options for the lunch buffet, maybe it's just me but I feel the options were a bit limited for the size and status of the hotel. I also struggled a bit with the AC, but as I experienced this in another hotel, might just be a thing with the hotels in the area. I would have liked to have a remote for the AC. Overall, it was a good experience and I will definitely return here on another trip to Amsterdam.

A hotel attached to the airport, so very convenient to catch early morning flights. The hotel is luxurious but a bit on the dated side for room decor. You can feel hints of the 80s luxury. The service is nice. This hotel should be considered by everyone looking for a no hassle walk to your gate for your flight.

This is a great Hotel! Right at the airport. A short walk will get you to your room. Then you can enjoy the restaurant and/or Axis bar. Great staff. Breakfast is always very good. I highly recommend. Can't go wrong with Hilton!

One of the best airport hotels in the world. Great service, good food and the rooms are well equipped and very clean. The only comment I have is on the shower stream that was relatively weak and that isn't helpful when you want to enjoy a good shower after a long flight.

It was a nice experience staying near airport, watching planes come and go. My room was deluxe room with airport view and was very comfortable. Amenities could be better. Breakfast was fabolous. You should try custom made omelette, really well cooked with quality ingredients, compliments to the chef. I am satisfied overall. Only if Hilton could make late checkout available and free to all members.

We stayed here 10/7 , high floor facing runways, for an early morning flight out the next day. Every public space and the guest room was immaculately clean. The room was quiet. Each employee who we had contact with (check in, executive lounge, restaurant) was extremely helpful and cordial. It's a convenient 8-10 minute walk via moving sidewalks into the terminal.

  • 2/5 Fredde A. 9 months ago on Google
Nice room, but heavily overpriced. No food available in bar/restaurant or roomservice in the hotel even though it is bragging with 24h kitchen. (Kitchen closed around 22:00) Waiting in line to be able to check in well over 30 minutes. Just expensive not meeting expectations. At least the lady in the reception was very nice.

  • 5/5 Suzanne D. 1 year ago on Google
Clean, spacious and well designed rooms. Loved my deluxe room here. It’s a short walk to departure 2 and 3. Breakfast was really good, though it would’ve been nice to get a custom made omelette.

I can’t say enough good things about this Hilton! We were greeted with smiles and a very helpful staff. After helping us check in the staff went out of their way to help us with our luggage (10+ bags) and would not accept a tip. Thank you so much Peter, we appreciated your help! We had a family room on the 7th floor, which was nicely located close to the elevator but not directly beside it. It was quiet and very comfortable. Also super spacious, with a pull out couch and room for an extra bed. We also were able to accommodate all of our luggage and our dog. The bathroom was nice and big and the shower was great. Our dog was welcomed in every spot in the hotel, which was nice too. We had dinner at the restaurant and enjoyed the lounge for drinks. The staff member working in the lounge was very kind and helpful, he made us feel completely comfortable and welcome. We had breakfast in the restaurant as well. It was busy as there was a conference there, but we found the service was great and they had a lot of food options. The location made it an easy walk to the airport. We were able to find some luggage carts and use the covered bridge to go directly to our check in area. It was perfect! We definitely recommend this hotel if you are staying by the airport in Amsterdam.

Great location if you want a place close to the airport. Well connected to the City by train and busses. The room is very quiet for an airport location hotel, decent menu on the room service & nice bar with a great Bar with an amazing bar attender. The only complaint could be about the size of the room, which I thought was quite small.

I want to make the case that this is one of the best hotels you will stay in. Not just best airport hotel. Best hotel full stop. Let me describe the most important aspects that this hotel gets right, that so many other (at least, north american) hotels simply cannot fathom. 1. Pillows in multiple shapes and sizes. So many hotels force pillows on you that are optimized for propping yourself up and watching television. This hotel has sensible pillows that are friendly to people who actually want to sleep in their beds. What a luxury! For those who like thin pillows, this hotel has you covered. 2. Completely silent nights. No rampant A/C bellowing at you on and off, no noise from outside. The room was soundproofed. And we're next to an airport. 3. Perfect room temperature control. I calibrated the A/C to perfection and it maintained the temp throughout the night. As per my previous point, the A/C didn't sporadically roar into life and then turn off. It was a smooth and steady job well done. 4. Proper kettle in the room. Too many hotels condescend customers with awful Keurig machines. This hotel gives you a real kettle. Thank you! 5. Beautiful, spotless and high-spec bathroom shower. Already, you should be sold. Now let me add to this (1) a fantastic bar with knowledgeable bartender for when the kids are asleep, (2) friendly and courteous staff, and (3) a great (but I remind you, silent) view of the airport runway for the plane spotters if you choose an appropriate room. I ended up at this hotel because of a flight cancellation with an early next morning make-up flight. But with its proximity to Amsterdam, if I ever return (I hope to) to the city I would just stay here. Again, I think this is one of the greatest hotels I've every stayed in. So many get the simplest things wrong---this gets all of them right, and with style.

Was very unfortunately stuck overnight when a spate of BA flights were cancelled last minute. It was super easy to book in, the staff were great, the food was lovely, I had an incredible shower with lovely supplies, and after the stress of flight cancellation I had a great night sleep before getting up early the next day for an early flight. Only flag, the mini fridge had not been checked/cleared so I had to advise the team there was open food and we did not want to be charged for food/drinks we didn't consume, but they were apologetic.

  • 4/5 Eric W. 10 months ago on Google
The rooms are nice, but it seems like they didn't think a user experience, e.g. monster shower, but only 1 towel hook. No place to put your suitcase. The restaurant menu was pretty lacking. I feel like hotels are trying to milk COVID for not providing any real service. Attached to an airport, and no food after 22:00 for latenarrivals. Just 3 pizza choices after 22:00, so if your lactose intolerant or have Celiac you are SOL. :(

I stayed one night at Hilton Amsterdam airport schiphol. On one side, I liked that you can go in the hotel through the airport and that’s very convenient if it’s raining. The hotel and especially the room are very nice and clean. On the other side, i had a problem with the deposit because when i was checking in, the lady from the front desk told me that the deposit will be returned immediately after checkout, but when I was checking out, her colleague said that I don’t need to do anything because the deposit will be refunded in 5/7 days. After a few hours I received an email from the hotel telling me that I did not follow the procedure for refunding the deposit and I need to sent them the details of my bank account. Of course I was mad because I insisted at the checkout to give them my card for the refund and all necessary information. Anyway one more thing that I didn’t receive a complete hygiene kit. I went to the front desk for some toothpaste and they gave me 2 toothbrushes kit but just one had toothpaste in it. The spa was a bit too small, in my opinion, but it was really nice because there were not many people. They have one dry sauna and a steamy one. Also there is a small pool, not too deep(0,9m to be precisely).

It is around 8 minutes walk from the airport through the parking hallway. The baggage carts can be used to the hotel entrance, which is very convenient. The room is very large, clean, noiseless and comfortable.
