The ice coffee tasted so weird. I’m definitely not the first person say it. I wish I would have seen other review in google before I sit in the restaurant. It’s more like a tourist spot and over crowded. Worst is that area smell like toilet. I was totally disgusted. AND it doesn’t help if you only spend time on replying google review instead of improving your food quality!!!

Beautiful coffeehouse with fantastic service and beautiful ambience.

We haven't been in 6+ years so thought we'd give it another try. Had the kürbisrisotto with Zander and creamy mushroom sauce, hubby had cheeseburger with pommes, the food was amazing, so tasty. Our server, Esra was the friendliest, nicest, prompt person we've had in a long while, she took time for us, answered our questions, had a wonderful smile, she made our lunch a very pleasant experience. After lunch, I enjoyed the most amazing, tasty Chai latte with hafermilch that was even better than the ones at Starbucks, all thanks to Tobi. We really enjoyed our food, it was too much for one setting so took half home. We enjoyed our lunch very much thanks to Esra, Tobi - the very tasty food, great ambience, tasty drinks, great service - We definitely recommend folks stopping in to try the Herbst menu, loads of pumpkin dishes served in many different ways 😋 The only negative was the staircase down to the bathrooms, thankfully they have hand rails to assist one going down and back up again....you have to check to make sure no one else is coming or going, not enough room for 2 at a time.

One of the friendliest cafes available in Schwetzingen. Located in the heart of Schwetzingen near the palace. Atmosphere is amazing with live music at weekends. A large variety of food and beverages, served in good quality and quantity. On summer weekends they stay open till 2 AM which is quite rare in germany for a cafe. The seating outside is really nice with umbrellas in case it’s a rainy day. I am a regular customer here since over 6 years and have never been disappointed.

We ordered twice, because the first waitress forgot our order, we waited 50 minutes to get a coffee…, and every order for my friends came 10 minutes after each one

We were taken here by local friends. They had not eaten here, but the place was busy. I have just read previous reviews and find it hard to believe we were at the same restaurant. Our waitress was delightful, friendly and explained some of the choices. I had the Elector schnitzel and salad, with fries and my husband had the Flammkuchen 'Alsatian Way'. Our friends had the fries each. The food was very fresh, well cooked and the servings were huge! One of the best value for money and quality meals we had over a two week trip. We really enjoyed our meals.

Despite the fact that I speak English, I was served very well and efficiently. Laid-back atmosphere with notes of pragmatism, beautiful waitresses very complement) I can’t name the receipt for payment, but this is compensated by delicious dishes, I definitely recommend it!)

We waited 25 minutes for coffee and cake, I wanted to eat something but they told me it'll take one hour o.O my coffee was one of the worst I ever had, a friend got his cold, my wife got the wrong cake...make your own conclusions. Must say it was 1st of May.

My wife ordered a salad, which was nothing like the one described in the menu, so naturally we gave it back - without eating it. When we asked for the check they made us pay for it as the waitress said “oh I just thought you didn't like it, I had no idea you didn’t want to pay for it” and her supervisor told us since the check has already been printed we’d have to pay for it. When we asked for the ingredients beforehand the waitress was also not able to tell us anything about what the salad was made of. Most ridiculous experience EVER by far!

It's a nice cafe right in front of Schweningen castle. The Baguettes were really good.. The place is cozy.. Go for it..

I love the Salat Florida at this restaurant. I do not love the fact that everything I go it is near impossible to get service. Today I sat down at 1:45 at 159 despite 3 servers having walked by my table and 2 ladies who sat down 10 min after me having their order taken, I was still without service. Really disappointing since I really wanted that Salat today. Thai food around the corner.

Weekends are a disaster. 30 min waits, unfriendly staff.

It’s actually one of my favorite places in this town. Unfortunately my dish (Kalbsschnitzel mit Honig Mandel Sauce) was very dry and without flavor. Used this be much better. Service took for hours and the smell coming out of the sewer got me an headache. Too bad :(

The location does 80% of the job. Mojito was quite good, cheesecake disappointing but the summer homemade beverages top.

Good food but the waiters/waitresses kept getting our orders wrong. I guess they were under staffed that day.
