I come from a life in the brewing industry so to me the Starbucks Reserve Roastery feels more like a brewery than a roaster and I love that about it!! The roasting equipment rivals some of the nicest breweries I have ever stepped in, and this just speaks to the amount of quality, detail, and love that Starbucks put into this place! The single origin coffees are absolutely amazing, and it shows you exactly how different single origin beans are. As a coffee roaster myself, these are some of the best single origin beans I have had at any coffee shop. The adult beverages and food here is absolutely amazing too and definitely worth experiencing. I come here every time I am in Seattle, and I recommend at least experiencing this place once in your life!!

A great place to spend your evening, given the weather conditions in Seattle. It’s a warm and cozy place. I like the interior of this place with warm lighting and seating areas spread across . They have coffee section, spirits section( yes there is a bar 😀) and the bakery section. I like those huge roasting machines and the fancy coffee grinding and brewing machines on display. The bakery section had fresh chocolate croissant even in the evening and the price was nominal. I highly recommend this place.

Cool place to experience at least once. The staff received us very warmly and we were offered some samples of their pizzas. We tried out the salami and the margarita samples, they were very delicious! This place offers pizzas, pastries, alcoholic beverages (espresso martinis!), the good old coffees and a coffee tasting experience. We ended up getting a dark chocolate mocha and a peppermint oat mocha (seasonal item). Both tasted amazing, especially the dark chocolate mocha is a great option for someone that is not into sugar/sweets. The brewing and roasting machines definitely contribute to the cool and unique atmosphere. The drinks were a little pricier than we were used to, but we did not mind this as we got to try premium coffee and came here specifically for a good experience.

This is a great brewery roaster. If you love coffee, and want to get her closer look at how they roast beans and more, you must visit. The place is nice and clean and the layout is super cool. The staff is exceptionally friendly and more than happy to answer questions. Great place to pick up souvenirs for yourself or friends or family. They have a cool area with alcoholic brew drinks and you can order flights. It might be a little pricey, but the quality and experience is really good.

Very nice ambience and friendly staff. The place was super packed and busy so finding a table may be challenging. My husband and I went in for the coffee flight and with cakes. It’s a cool spot that gives you that big city feel. You are still in a Starbucks but it does feel a little more special. The coffee was good and the staff was great. The chocolate hazelnut croissant was delicious though. Quite pricey but a nice experience.

It was the first time to visit Starbucks reserved outside Japan. Everything was so amazing here!! I loved the interior design and atmosphere. I went to early morning, so I could be relaxed without crowds. I was surprised that their food was unbelievably delicious!! It was NOT a coffee shop BUT a fine bakery in terms of quality. I ate salmon sandwich and ham and cheese sandwich. Also I could enjoy shopping for limited items. I strongly recommend this Starbucks.

This is NOT your regular Starbucks! The BEST Starbucks I've ever been to. We arrived on a Sunday evening. Had to wait in line outside, but not too long. This is a must stop for everyone visiting Seattle. So much to look at and enjoy. We enjoyed tasting the alcohol coffee beverages. Top quality and service.

Definitely recommend stopping here. The quality of the food and drinks is amazing. We had the salmon sandwich and prosciutto sandwich. Both were amazing. I got their cold brew flight, it was amazing! The Whiskey Barrel Aged coffee was my favourite, it was absolutely wonderful. Highly recommend it! It does get quite busy here though, and they do sell out of their food relatively fast. We stopped here 3 times on our trip, and one time I was unable to get the sandwich I wanted since it sold out so fast. To be far we arrived around 11am. The other two times we went, we went around 8-9am and had little to no issues finding a table, and had no issues with food items being sold out. I would say you should plan on stopping here in advance and go earlier to ensure you can get whatever item you want on the menu, and to ensure you get a decent table. Also the atmosphere was incredibly cool, it’s awesome to just come in here and check it out. So beautiful!

I decided to go on an all day walk about, and this was my first stop of my day. I've started to experiment with brewing techniques and coffees, so I thought I would grab a cup and wander. The scent of roasting coffee was very pleasantly wafting in the air. There were lot of tourists milling about the merchandise. There was a line of folks waiting to get their caffeine fixes and maybe a pastry to go with it. There is plenty of areas to sit and enjoy your cup while taking in the lovely day. I caught the last part of a presentation on vacuum brewing that looked rather fun.

A nice Starbucks Roastery in Seattle, I visited a few years ago and had a good experience. When we entered we were greeted by a member of staff who introduced us to their menu, they have the usual drinks with extras. You get a choice of special drinks that you only get in their roastery cafes and some different food items to. One of the great features is that you see how the coffee is roasted and the process and equipment used. I like the design of the cafe and the way the coffee travels through the cafe via the coppers pipes that expand across the ceiling into the large dispensers at the counter. The customer service is very good as so is the drinks and food. Another small touch is they served us with special coffee mugs. There is plenty of seating although just like we any cafe it can be very busy, it's best to check if there is space before siting in. There is a little corporate feel to this reserve cafe as their have an area and a room that can be hired for private events + you can book a tour of the roastery. There is a tasting room which requires a reservation for the experiences they offer. You can walk around and see how the coffee roasting process and there is a gift shop too when I visited. Some things might have changed since I last visited, but overall a good experience, great place to have coffee, food and socialise or work - Highly Recommend!

What a wonderful experience. It’s not your everyday Starbucks. It’s like Willy Wonka meets coffee. The staff was super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I didn’t feel like they tried to update me for the sale. I ordered the coffee flight. It was nice to be able to try different types all at once. They give you cards that inform you about the different coffees. Best croissants I’ve had in a long time.

Such a cool experience! My first time going to a Reserve Roastery and I really enjoyed it! The bar options were somewhat lacking and the bartender was not very friendly. I appreciated the multiple food options- from bakery items and breakfast, to pizza. I tried a special menu drink and I loved it! Overall, super cool to go and experience if you are a fan of Starbucks

I stopped visiting Starbucks for several years because I prefer coffee in local spots. But my fascination with Starbucks came back after visiting Starbucks Reserve. The line was really long before you can get in but it’s definitely worth the wait. We had such spectacular experience trying out their espresso flight and exploring the place. We also purchased the coffee tumblers which look cool. When you visit Seattle, put this on your list!

It is a one-of-a-kind experience for Starbucks fans! Even if you are not a fan, the fresh pastries are worth the visit. We knew about the long lines, so we went in at 9 AM. There was no line at the entrance, but there were long lines to order. For first-timers, it's chaotic! As you enter, there are no directions and no one available to answer questions. We saw two long lines when we walked in and didn't know where to go and which side had what. We unthinkingly went to one of the lines. After waiting for 54 minutes to order, we found out that one of the items we wanted was on the “other side. “ We were tired and didn't want to go to the other line, so we ordered what was there and moved on. The pastries were fresh and delicious! We ordered one of each and had fun tasking them. As a Starbucks fan, the experience was worth the wait but it could be better with a little organization.

I went there 10mins before it opens. Nobody was there yet. However, not all the pastries were ready at the moment. I wanted to try pizza but it was only available after 11am. I definitely felt luxurious than regular Starbucks. Quality of coffee was good, food was okay. Price was slightly expensive side. The mood of the cafe was awesome. It was clean and relaxing. I would love to stay there hours and hours.

Awesome place. Feels very upscale and have plenty of place to sit and hang out. So many stuff going on in here, fresh roasting, food made in house, awesome staff, the list goes on! I had to try the aged whiskey barrel cold brew, it was awesome! Even served with a whiskey cube. Must visit when in town!

When I first walked in I was immediately overwhelmed, but a nice employee came by and probably saw that I didn’t know where to look first so he gave me a brief little tour. The place is huge and has a merchandise section, a bakery with sweet and savory good, a bar (which is where I spend most of my time) and the coffee area. There was one drink in particular that I had at the bar that was amazing and it was a coffee brewed with bourbon and poured over a lavender scented ice ball. It was amazing and I’ve tried to recreate it at home.

Such a cool spot to visit and chill. It is pricey but you are paying for a unique Starbucks experience. They have special food and drink items, cool merchandise and a nice ambience. The person roasting the coffee gave us a full detailed step by step process for how he roasts the coffee - it was very interesting. Heads up- it gets SUPER busy so go during off times (avoid weekends and lunch hour rush)

If you are a coffee or tea lover, you will enjoy this Starbucks experience. The line to get in was a bit of a wait, but it was really cool to see this roastery! There was plenty of food and drink options to choose from on both sides of the building. There was also really neat merchandise that you would not typically find at a Starbucks. Definitely worth a trip to just see and experience it at least once.

The review is more of how different the fancy Starbucks vs normal. They serve Alcohol with coffee drinks. They have more food like pizza with verity of toppings, different type of sandwiches, and pastry options. My brother like the tiramisu, it was $11. Price are expensive. My sister in law did not like her espresso martini, it was too sweet for her. It has nice open area and you sat down to enjoy your coffee. You can use your Starbucks app to pay but no reward on purchase.

This is a one of a kind coffee shop. More than the freshly ground coffee, it’s the ambience and food served that makes the trip worthwhile. You get to see the roasting and brewing in action. It is definitely crowded round the clock but the staff does a pretty good job in managing the crowd Granted everything is 50-100% more expensive but is good to do it one time. This is probably the one thing that will prevent me from frequenting this place Highly recommend the espresso flight. Definitely better than the other espressos at regular Starbucks.

First time visiting the Seattle place, but since I have been to the Shanghai one before, the Seattle branch kind of didn’t really give much surprise to me. One thing I love it way more than the Shanghai branch is that you don’t have to wait in line to get in at all! It’s as spacious, chic and well designed! Love the wide range of options on merchandise and drinks they offer there!

All I can say is that if you’re in Seattle, the Starbucks Reserve Roastery is a must! My friends and I did not anticipate on spending 2 hours inside, but it’s more than a coffee shop, it’s an experience. I love that you can see the coffee being roasted, the huge room of coffee beans, and so much more! The food options are amazing as well! I recommend the raspberry croissant because that was very refreshing. Honestly, one of the best croissants I’ve ever had. Light, buttery, and worth the price! Loved every single thing about this Roastery and I hope to make it back one day.

Amazing place especially for Starbucks mania. Prefer here to Starbuck 1st store at Pike place market. You have to be in a long queue always for the 1st store cause lots of tourists long to stop there and actually nothing much to see inside of the 1st branch. I know the 1st one is historical place but if you are visitor to Seattle who just want to look something related to Starbucks, I recommend this place which is better for your memories.

I lived right next door and have come here a few times when accompanying visiting friends. They enjoyed the experience. There are two pastry and food service counters, a big merchandise area (the products are branded as Starbucks Reserve, not Starbucks!), and huge coffee roasters in the back. It's definitely a cool place to visit even if you are not a Starbucks fan. Drinks and food are pricey, of course, and there is often a line outside!

I bring my family and friends to this unique Starbucks place so they can have a different experience. Food is really great especially the pizza matched with your Starbucks drink. You can never go wrong whether you come in the morning or evening.

This place was truly unique! If you are a coffee fan you should definitely consider their Taster Experience menu. The line was not too bad either. Fun experience! I don't even drink coffee and I enjoyed the vibes. Seating is definitely limited as well!

Finally got to see this place and it's very much Willy Wonka of coffee!! Had a cold brew made in aged whiskey barrels. 🤤 They have delicious food and my boyfriend had a real croissant here and it's blown his mind! 🤯 In a good way, now he can't go back to grocery store junk. We will be back and visit during the week if you can, weekends must be NUTS in there!!😉

Unbeatable views and aesthetics here, probably the best coffee I've ever had in my life. This spot is amazing, although the staff was up to their eyeballs in work and the prices for things were Ludacris I think this is one of the most amazing coffee shops in the US.

An extremely busy Starbucks. It was definitely a great place to hang out while waiting out the weather. There was only one fireplace to warm up by, which is located near the front entrance with limited seating. A hostess waited by the front door to help you figure out where to go as there are certain places to order for each unique experience. When I was there there was quite a long line for coffee..

Such a fun experience! Tons of drinks and food you can’t get at any other Starbucks. The energy is great and service is accommodating to how many customers they constantly have. Just about every corner is worth photographing and posting. Worth visiting.

Easily the nicest and fanciest Starbucks I've ever been to. Lived the baked goods available and some specialty coffees and drinks. It was very busy in the morning but we managed to sit down by the fireplace. Nice touch! Our croissants and latte were very tasty. Comes at a price though!

Great coffee experience but definitely on the pricy side. We came to sample the flights and enjoyed both the coffee flight and whisky flight very much. The experience is quite expensive (~$50) for two flights, but give the popularity (and scarcity) of Starbucks Reserve in the world, the price is understandable. Place is always busy, so be prepared for a short wait and difficulty of finding a seat. Recommend time to spend: 45 minutes to 1 hour to embrace the experience.

This is our second time visiting a Starbucks Roastery and every time is just as cool. They had so many options for coffees you’re not going to find everywhere. The service is quick and efficient. Do yourself a favor and try the whiskey barrel aged cold brew!!

Great coffee selection and food. If you love coffee this is the place you have to visit. You can also see the coffee being made. The atmosphere is great and you can enjoy a nice brunch. The only downside is that finding free parking is a bit difficult. There is a paid parking lot nearby.

  • 5/5 Madhumitha R. 2 years ago on Google
Great coffee, great ambiance. They require vaccination card to enter. They have specialty coffee which is nice and the menu keeps changing. Definitely a touristy spot, if you’re in pike place. Their pastries are rich and flavorful. Do try them. You’ll not regret.

  • 5/5 Madissen W. 5 months ago on Google
I’m not gonna lie, I wanted to think this place was ridiculous. I’m not a big Starbucks person, but everyone raves about the reserve so we thought we’d check it out. We opted for alcoholic bevs, just to try something different and they were very good and fun experiences. My husband ordered the Knob Creek whiskey and cold brew set and I ordered the Espresso martini flight. Really enjoyed both of them!

  • 4/5 Hawaiian s. 2 years ago on Google
Probably the most interesting Starbucks location ever. Lots of sandwiches, bagels, muffins etc. They have all the normal coffee items and some. They also have a mixology bar and pizzas. The have someone explaining the process of the coffee downstairs. Nice atmosphere, a bit crowded, and definitely touristy.

What I thought would be at the bottom of my list for my visit to Seattle really made a huge impression! Come hungry as they have a huge selection of pastries and savory dishes including pizza (it actually looked very good and fresh) and elevated chocolate croissants. Their bar is also a must try. I would recommend spending a few hours to try as much as you can and the tours that they offer looked also interesting.
