Great view over the city. 111 stairs. Ticket is only 2 RON. You can go in every round hour for 20 minutes. Make sure to be from the first ones in order to see from the windows without other people in them.

    1) Body training while climbing the stairs 2) On each flight there is a mini museum with expositions 3) At the top of the tower there is a beautiful view of the city. Enjoy every moment✨

(Translated by Google) The center of Sibiu is so called everyday it looks nice but at Christmas it looked like fairy tales.

(Translated by Google) An unforgettable place. A place that gave me great leg pain and memories. Very beautiful Sibiu. A city that I can say respects its architectural tradition… compared to other cities. I really liked here, as much as I can say about this building, it is one of the symbols of Sibiu (perhaps even the most common), representing Sibiu in an honorable way. You can't give less than 5 stars.

The tower of Sibiu that you can climb by paying a symbolic fee of 2 lei (50 cents).

Awesome view of the city and Christmas market in the center for very low price... Just 2 leu.

With the entrance fee of 2 leus, it's a must on your trip to Sibiu. From the top of the tower you get a wonderful view of the city and its surroundings. On a good day you also get a fantastic view of Fagaras mountains. However, beware! There are many narrow steps leading to the top! ;)

Great views from this tower. Steep steps but not too many of them. Can get a full 360 view from the top. So cheap to climb can't remember how much they charged

A lot of stairs to climb(7 floors), but the view from the last floor is wonderful. The price is 2 RON/ pers😁

Nice view but almost always pretty crowded - very understandable, since it’s a landmark for Sibiu. Mind the stairs though, they are pretty steep!

(Translated by Google) A perfect location for a 360 view all over Sibiu and especially over Piata Mare. I recommend this location especially when there are festivals, especially the Christmas Fair for a dream image. The price is small 2 or 3 lei as if and there are several spiral stairs to climb but it is worth it. (Original) O locatie perfecta pentru o priveliste 360 peste tot Sibiul si in special peste Piata Mare.

Boy oh boy what a hoot. A real humdinger. I'm talking top quality automobiles at a competitive rate. You won't be finding these prices for such well maintained vehicles anywhere else in the area. Honda's, Subaru's, heck even Hyundai's. This place has it all. You can even order off menu. I had the lunch special and added avocado, extra hummus and a plate of fries. Needless to say, I was stuffed. Love every minute of it.

You can get amazing views of the city for just ~0.5 euro. There are lots of floors along the way to the top where you can stop and admire various exhibits.

Great place to start your Sibiu expirience, just like we did. The tower is not free to enter, but the ticket price is very, very cheap. It has several floors, which are connected via circular stone stairs. On each floor there are different things - art exhibitions, wax figures representing various activities (even pretty violent ones - typical for the times I guess). On the next last floor you can see the huge clock mechanism and above that, on the last floor the tourists can check out a nice 360 degree panoramic view of the old town of Sibiu. Totally recommended attraction when you are in the beautiful city of Sibiu, Romania.

(Translated by Google) This large tower from the end of the 16th century, which was then raised by one floor in the 19th century, was the access to the citadel from the south. At the top of the 110 steps (entrance fee, but worth the effort) there is a beautiful view of the historic center (Original) Questa grande torre di fine '500, poi elevata di un piano nel XIX sec, costituiva l'accesso alla cittadella da sud.

(Translated by Google) Ideal if you want to see the Piata Mare and the whole Sibiu from above. I especially liked the clock mechanism from the top floor. You rarely see that. Built in the 15th century. Nice view over the city. Very cheap tickets with no wait. You should be able to fit it in even if you have a very short time.

  • 5/5 Ian H. 2 years ago on Google
Probably the best views over Sibiu, with temporary exhibitions on the way up. The price is really low, making it totally worthwhile if you like to have birds eye.

  • 5/5 Cristian P. 3 years ago on Google
Entrence is 2 lei. You get a good view of the entire town. The stairs to the top are very steap and small. P.S: mind your head

  • 5/5 denisa 2 years ago on Google
The tower was a bit shaky, but the view was amazing. Overall I recommend visiting the tower.

The iconic landmark of the city features some gorgeous views from the last floor Beginning with June 2022 it will suffer some renovation/restoration works and will probably be made into a proper museum or at least I hope so At the time of my visit the admission was less than half a euro, the climb is rather easy as compared to other similar such tourist attractions

  • 5/5 Alyshea G. 2 years ago on Google
2 Lei for great views over the city. Currently can only go up on the hour, every hour.

  • 5/5 Miry 4. 2 years ago on Google
Best view in town. From the top of the tower it can be seen all the town up to the hills.

  • 4/5 Emma T. 6 years ago on Google
Great historical building, amazing views. Has a functional clock, and hosts art exhibitions for local artists. Very narrow steps, a bit of a workout in order to climb to the top, but the view is worth every step.

This was a place we really wanted to visit. We came to the entrance and found a really rude lady running the counter talking on her phone. We could barely get her to stop her conversation to help us, she just kept going back to her phone call as though it was an inconvenience for us to want to buy a ticket, so we decided to walk away and not go in. Extremely disappointed with the service. Terrible.

  • 5/5 Elena R. 1 year ago on Google
We visited the tower with our family with 4 and 7 years old kids. It was very pleasant and we’ve been very warmly welcomed by Adina, the wonderful lady at the ticket office, who explained us the amazing story of the tower. Highly recommended! Thank you very much, Adina!!!

Turnul Sfatului - The Council Tower The tower is located in the centre of Sibiu, between the Large Square and the Small Square. It is a nice viewpoint, accessible by spiral stairs until the 2nd floor and wooden stairs until the top. On the last floor, the windows are large and all the city of Sibiu can be seen, and also the Făgăraș mountains.

  • 5/5 Jan Jozef S. 1 year ago on Google
Thank you, Adina for showing us around the tower. It was awesome and the view is really nice! Recommend!

It is 2 RON to enter and it's not that crowded inside so you can navigate the stairs easily. There are windows on the top floor, but I was still able to take pictures that turned out fine. Most of the exhibits have an English translation and the attendant spoke some English too.

  • 5/5 Corina A. 1 year ago on Google
The exposition and the 360 view were impressive.

  • 4/5 Michal V. 10 months ago on Google

  • 5/5 Narmin B. 7 months ago on Google
The tickets cost only 2 Lei per person. It was a bit of a climb, but not much. The view is beautiful. But the place is closed, you will see the view through the windows.

  • 4/5 Bart V. 4 years ago on Google
Visiting the Council Tower is fast and worth a quick visit. Nice views over Sibiu roofs with mountains on the horizon. Also a small exhibit on the inside. Fast and cheap.

  • 5/5 IuliA M. 3 years ago on Google

I managed to visit the Museums and admire the Council Tower, the Great Square, the Small Square, the Bridge of Lies ...... and the older these sights are, the more I like them. I am delighted with Sibiu, I also really liked the old but well-maintained building of the Sibiu City Hall! Beautiful.... (Original) Este foarte frumos Sibiul..... Frumos....
