The kids were more into the deserts, though, so it was a good choice, after all. I liked the concept, the rooms being so differently decorated, according to each one's theme. The menu is quite varied, and everybody was happy with the food, from the vegetarians to the serious meat eaters. The tea menu added more value to our experience.

They dont have shots on the menu, but they had available B52 and Kamikaze we paid for 1 shot kamikaze 24 lei, really expensive. Didnt try the food because the place did not gained our trust to order any. Indeed it was cold inside the premises, we had our jackets on because outside was -4'C and probably inside this pub was around 10'C... we left due to the shots being overpriced, the menu was nasty, needs a do over, too much text cluttered on a plastic A3 paper. A tequila shot is 20 lei, whereas in other places in the same area you can find a shot with the same brand of tequila for only 10. Overall, I am very disappointed in this place. It has declined immeasurably over the course of a few months. Definitely do not recommend.

Great place and locatiin, prices a bit high.

We got there at the end of October so we got to see the place arranged with Halloween decorations. The staff was very nice, the servings good, the food tasty. We loved the place and atmosphere.

Lovely food, cozy place! The place is quite big but despite the fact that it has 2 floors and the rooms are quite big you still have the cozy feeling. The food is very good and tasty!

The food and drinks were super ok, but I was very upset that I couldn't tip them, because I didn't have any cash, and the waiter came to ask me if everything was ok, but he insisted at least 5 times the fact that I left nothing for "hospitality". This does not seem normal to me, given that when I pay the bill, I also pay for the service provided. I will not return in these conditions. If they were interested in our experience with the services provided, they should come to our table and ask us about our opinion on what we ordered before requesting the bill and / or not offering them tips.

Terrible service. I had to wait 30 minutes just for someone to get my order. Food portions were way less than what's written on the menu. Mediocre food taste and pretty expensive, but the price is somehow justified because it's near the center of Bucharest.

I have been there today with some friends. The service was horrible. The food was almost uneatable. Unfortunately everything took forever. Without any attention from the waitress. I didn't enjoyed my stay.

One of the worst starter foods, basically last night's leftovers. I've been ordering via glovo/tazz from them and suddenly the crispy chicken menu started to be gummy/ very chewey resembling leftover food that's been microwaved. Not to mention most of the portion were the fries, while the chicken pieces were small and inconsistent in size (most were very small). I've called them out on it because it happened at least on 3 separate occasions and they asked me to send a picture then never got any sort of answer back /acknowledge of the situation. I'm not paying 40 Ron for starter fries just to check if they fixed their menu.

It was not my first time here but this time I ve had fish and chips and it was awful. Under the crust the fish had skin scales on, along with fatty parts. It was also undercooked. I do not recommand. The place looks good and the service is nice.

Good atmosphere. Been told has good Pizza. They were out of pizza. Tried their smoothies and they turned out pretty decent.

Recommended by some friends with which we were here, the place was found to be nice, with a cozy and yet interesting atmosphere. The service was fast but lacked that "something" to make it excellent, although the personnel was very nice. The rose wine is not recommended and the steaks were... mixed-up, but the Bayley cake and the Cheese cake were excellent!

Not very enthusiastic about food being served small bowl on top or next to main course on a larger dish, quite messy and disgusting. Tiny small amounts of fries and salad, like children menu. I understand cabbage and potatoes are so very scarce nowadays 😂 Treatment for hand irritation by hand sanitizer in the men's room took about 4 days

Loved this place. I had pizza and it was really nice almost like in Italy. I was surprised by their blueberry vodka lemonade, it was really good.

It feels like a botanical garden. Everything is green. If you love plants and want some amazing food, this is the place for you!

A large space, lots of choice (expansive menu), I had the ribs and they were delicious. Staff was attentive and kind.

Good food, that's all I can say. On the covered terrace we were seated at a table without heating, we were told that the air conditioner was not "working" and although we came with a reservation and could go to another heated table of the same size, they left us in the cold. After an hour of waiting for the food, I asked the waiter how long it would take; after 10 minutes I received the answer: it was an event, the chefs hadn't even taken care of our order. It's the first bad review I've left, but I couldn’t let this go by. Try to treat your customers with a little more respect.

Nice restaurant located a few minutes walk from the Roman Atheneum. The restaurant is outdoor and they have covers on the roof and heating but it is very cold. Definitely wear a warm coat. The food was nice, nothing too special and very big portion sizes. I would recommend sharing with another person! Staff were lovely!

Had lunch on a work-day there, so it wasn't crowded at all. Had a pretty good experience overall, apart from finding the prices have sky-rocketed during the time we haven't visited the establishment, beyond the inflation of our economy. Four years ago, a classic hamburger was priced 29 RON, now it's 52. Soups for instance, jumped from 15 RON to 28. Maybe justified reasons can be found for this, but it's the same experience as before. From a pretty oasis, it has become an overpriced one.

I really like this place, but I'm giving it 2 stars today because I made a reservation online for the terrace(smoker area), then I saw the previous review saying the terrace is closed. I contacted then on WhatsApp to ask if the terrace is indeed closed, as I am reserving especially for the smoker area. They said the terrace is not closed. Well, when we arrived the next day, the terrace was closed, so we left. Not a tragedy, but they could have told me and that is disrespectful.

A very warm place, full of plants and green areas. Nice choice of food in the menu.. and the deserts are absolutely delicious!! You have to try them...on the other side, .they still have to improve service and the waiting time for the food is a bit high...

After reading some of the negative reviews, I was scared to eat diner at the Journey Garden. However, the diner and experience was such a revalation that it inspired me to write a positive review. My girlfriend and I shared the meatball soup as a starter, which to our surprised included 4 pieces of homemade bread. As we are not particularly fans of soups in general, we were very pleasantly surprised. The taste was great! For the main dish we ordered the italian burger and the falafal with rice. The portions were very large and both dishes tasted great!

I went there once with a friend and it was ok. It's an easy-to-get-to place to have a chat and a cocktail. There are at least two spaces where you can seat: the main room, which was full on a Friday evening and the white room - we were guided here since we didn't have a reservation. The white room's got the feel of a student canteen, but nicely upgraded. I ordered a cocktail with vodka and lychee syrup. That syrup was really good and they didn't put too much vodka. Actually, I almost didn't feel it, but I'm ok with that. For me a cocktail that doesn't get me dizzy is a good one. We didn't order any food, but I saw people bought pizzas mostly. At first I didn't want to go there because the area in front of the pub always gave me a bad vibe (like there are always strange people on that side of the street) while waiting at the bus station nearby. But the pub is ok.

Great social spot just outside of Old Town Bucharest. Diverse menu of food and drinks. Handled a large party of 25 with no issue. Drinks and food came out quick and accurate. I didn't ask for an all English menu so not sure if it was available but enough of the menu was in English that you could figure it out for the most part. You might have ask a Romanian speaking member of your party about some specific ingredients if you have some allergies. Personally I had the carbonara which was decently portioned and very delicious (don't get me wrong this is not Rome but it was good). Others in the party had ribs and a quesidilla among other dishes everyone seemed to enjoy it.

It's true that usually reviews are extreme. People tend to comment when they are very happy or very unhappy. I really tried to find a good thing about this place. It's a nice place to hangout but NOT to EAT. Terrible food.

Nice atmosphere and absolutely wonderful service considering the house was packed. The food however was horrible. We had pizza which was made with soggy dough. Also, for some items the prices are a bit extreme: 18 lei for a small Coke (250 ml)!!??

Had Tex-Mex burger and Ribs - both AMAZING. The burger, was great, quite big, juicy, lots of ingredients and the taste combo was great. Ribs were very tender, meat literally falling off the bones,a bit unseasoned, but the BBQ sauce was there to help! Both preps came with fries (french/wedges/round with garlic) and sauce (something like Cocktail for the burger and BBQ for the ribs). A bit pricey, but for city center, with great atmosphere (plants everywhere, inside-garden like) this was not overkill. Drinks were average, could add more sirup to Hugo and lemonade, but better to ask for more sugar than to redo a drink, right? Also, we arrived at 22:10, ordered at 22:15, drinks came in 5 minutes while the food in another 10min. Talk about fast service!

It doesn't look very big from the front door, but it is! There are two sperate gardens to sit it. Both closed off to the elements. 1 complaint is people smoking and no fresh air. There are fan but not able to turn them on to move the smoke away! Stopped in for an early dinner. We have the quesadillas plater, a burger and salmon. All very delicious! The server was friendly and spoke very good English. Highly recommend!

Dropped in expected a quick simple lunch on the way to somewhere else, ended up finding the most incredible food in a really cute location. Immediately one of the best places I ate during my visit. Our server Mihai was lovely and fun too.

The food and service were great and all, but the music and atmosphere were awful...The music was what you would expect from a nightclub, but with a lower volume and what really bothered me was that there were people smoking inside, which is against the law and I am a non smoker, so this was an inconvenience for me. The waiter did not even ask us whether we are smokers or not! Never gonna go there again!
