The very unpleasant surprise that we only noticeded after we visited Art Safari, as we exited the building, was that the venue selected for this year edition didn't have a fire and emergency situation authorization (called ISU Authorization), meaning that the building was not safe for visitors in case of fire or other calamities. Inside the Dacia Palace the rooms didn't have signs for exit in case of fire, they where too dark (to display the paitings better, but it was too much ), so dark that you couldn't even read the labels. I wonder how the organisers got the approval for this art fair and if the sponsors knew about the fire hazard, including The Romanian Gouvernement and the Minister of Culture. Probably they knew, but as we know, in Romania corruption is very high. The artwork exhibited doesn't justify the high ticket price which is comparable to the one at big European museums (about 20 euros) especially since Art Safari was sponsored by the government and Glo tabbaco products. Another minus is the fact that people who bought tickets in advance had to wait in line at the entrance with all the visitors who were buying the ticket on the spot. The conclusion is that Art Safari is an overrated, wannabe art event, with higher prices every year, and with no respect for the visitors, since the venue is a fire hazard one.

Cool place. I liked how everything was placed and how the subjects were connected. I liked the actual subject very much and it was not crowded and it was easy to move around.

Interesting combination of exhibitions on display, but I did feel at some point that some pieces were quite repetitive. Also I didn't like that even though we bought a ticket in advance, we had to wait in line with everyone else who was buying the ticket upon entrance. The space wasn't crowded so you could admire the artwork in peace, but some rooms were not well litten while other rooms were too bright. Also it is a too expensive for what they offer in comparison to most exhibitions and museums in Bucharest. One of the reasons it is worth visit is the venue, the building is lovely. Overall, I would probably visit again in the far future, but I don't recommend it for tourists, there are much better activities to do in Bucharest !

Great location Impressive logistical works and efforts for this Safari. We had 2.5 hours to spare. 1 hour we stayed at ques. It doesn't matter if I bought tickets in advance. The whole place is quite cold. Impressive gallery at the Spainsh painters section. Loved the curating overall. I left with the idea that I wanted more of it. It has a good marketing which apperently is the one thing that a glorious museum like MNAR is missing.

POSITIVES: Good exhibition with different types of art. Particularly liked the handbags section. Lots of 'it' bags such as the Lady Dior, Hermes Kelly, Fendi baguette, and an interesting one in the shape of a woman bust from Issey Miyake called the Spiral (see photo). There's also a very large tree made out of lots of different types of materials. NEGATIVES: I didn't like the fact that a company that sells 'sticks' for adults which you light up was allowed to advertise inside the art gallery. They even had some on display. What if I was with my children? It is wrong on so many levels!

This is a tourist business ! Too expensive for real culture sharing (150RON when national gallery is 24RON) and the rooms are very small. Not good to make business on fake art museum.

Interesting exhibitions. Depending of the edition and theme, there are things to see for everyone. It's also one of the most interesting exhibition from Bucharest. The place is not big and gets crowded easily. They won't let everyone inside when this happens(which is good), but you will wait a lot in the queues on certain ocasions.

The delight of the aesthetic sense. An excellent opportunity to view extraordinary paintings in the middle of the city in a quiet mountain path.

I liked the fact that it wasn't so crowded and I got time to look through all the artworks in peace. The Art Safari team knows how to draw attention to the artworks. Another thing that I liked is how they combined the traditional with the digital.

There are still things that could be improved in terms of appearance on the upper floors, but otherwise a pleasant experience.

This time an exhibition was really cool. Advice to start from the 3rd floor, where is a patchings by hand of Lilian Theil:-) That is mindblowing. Whole exhibition will last till 11th of December.

I think this is a good place to visit, my expectations were very low, but when I got there, I was pleasantly surprised by the cool stuff I found there. I recommend taking your time when you vizit, the smallest things there are the most impressive.

Definitely worth a visit. Camera photography is not allowed. Orientation inside might be a bit confusing.

This review is more for the ones that organize the event. We went a grup of 4 adults and 2 kids under 2 years with tickets bought online. We arrived there on a rainy day to tell us like this: - even if we already had the tickets, there is only one line for all visitators; - no priority to family with small babies or disabled people due to the fact that the other people from the line will be upset; ( so, if you are in a wheelchair or pregnant in 9 months, or with a small baby it is ok to stay in rain for one hour because the organizer did not take responsibility to cover and adjust some particular aspects) - if I want priority I should take initiative and talk with the people which I did and of course that everyone allow us to go faster with the babies; - they argue that the line is so big due to a special picture, but surprise when we show our tichet it didn’t include that special picture ( a thing that could have checked before to tell us to wait 1h in the rain with two babies) - we bought the tickets one month ago, full access, but we were ask to pay extra if we want to see a special picture. - you are not allowed with baby stroller, fyi

For me, it's just not worth the price (night tour). Organisation was ok, but a bit unfair: we were split in groups, first group 8-10 people, second group 8-10, and third was all the rest with 15-20 (mind you rooms have quite small sections) Unfortunately, I went in with high expectations, but left feeling extremely disappointed.

The kids working at the front sold me a student ticket but then proceeded to charge me with a regular ticket. Were also very rude.

For the last 2 years, I went to every exposition Art Safari had, and every time it was wonderful. I highly recommend going, but getting the tickets online before you arrive so you can benefit from the special designated queue. The pictures are from the last exhibition, Love Stories plus the Kiss Sculture of Constantin Brancusi.

Unexpectedly saw the Nymphs and Zombies exposition before seeing Brancusi's Kiss, not for the faint of heart. Interesting pieces and wonderfully lit, deserved more than the 2 hours we had to see the famous Brancusi sculpture, especially since there was a lot of queuing. I plan on going again to see the other half that we didn't get to see.

Buy tickets in advance and keep an eye on days and hours of operation since they do follow the normal hours .. it has 7 exhibits from modern art to a 3D show about viruses

It's a well organized group of exhibitions. Lots of explanations about the artists and their work. Big waiting line because they let about 5 persons in every 5 minutes, but with this system is not crowded inside and you can enjoy the art.
