The hostel uses the excuse of providing an “old Bucharest vibe” while it is clearly just dirty and neglected. The bed sheets were stained and dirty, the whole place is full of dust and mosquitos, the shower is tiny and located in a kitchen, there are no lockers and wifi does not work. The room gets quite warm during the summer and if you open the windows to cool it down, prepare to be eaten alive by mosquitos (as there are no nets on the windows). Although the price is reasonable, you can find something more worth the price in Bucharest.

Villa 11 is a very nice and romantic place to stay. It feels like a cozy home. The owners are really friendly and they speak English. This place also is very close to the station, only a 5 minute walk.

Its not the Ritz, that's not what you're getting. But for the price we spent for a bed & breakfast place for 3, it was awesome. It is clean & beds are comfy enough. This is a place u wanna crash for cheap. The lady who owns it makes up for anything u think this place is lacking in . She is that nice and welcoming. If you just got off the train and need a place to stay for cheap I don't recommend anything else.

We were stayed on the Villa 11 in April - May 2022, and we fеlt ourselves as home. It is good house with very friendly landlords. Villa 11 has perfect location, close to Nord Station. I recommend this place for everyone. With thanks and best wishes.

I stayed for nearly 5 months with them during my Erasmus in Bucharest, and it was pleasant; I felt like I was at home. I had my own space where I could study peacefully, which is what I was looking for. Occasionally, I had very interesting interactions and exchanges with the mom who managed the place; she was always smiling and loving towards me, and she always gave off this welcoming energy, like "welcome home," lol. Her daughter was just as calm and kind as she was, and her husband too. It was a beautiful experience to have spent those months with them, not only was I well-received, but I felt welcome until the end of my stay. I still remember those morning chats with Deborah (the mom). Time flies so fast that all of this feels like it happened years ago. I highly recommend it to people who want to have a friendly stay; you will feel like at home! #Feuzon_Doucet!

Convenient location and fine for one night. Deborah was helpful and friendly. The Carol room on the top floor was sweetly decorated but the floors could have used a stronger vacuum. We had a hygiene scare when flushing the old toilet which sprayed water from the back all over the bathroom floor. Upon returning, this was fixed. Due to the easter timing of our stay, we were woken up by some kind of argument at 1am when we had to wake up at 4am for a flight.

This is a very good place for a short stay and if you are interested staying near the train station. Surprisingly the area is in a quite place. The price is very correct and what you see is what you get. The bed is old style original and very nice. The rest of the amenities are quite old (but not valuable like the bed) and could be changed. The interaction with other guest are not direct but unpleasant things can happen as noise - the walls are very thin - and light as that form the hall can easily disturb you. Although I evaluate places by them self I cannot ignore expensive places. I could not rated this more than 2.5 stars no matter how warmly recommended.

Rooms here is cozy and clean. I liked the atmosphere of this place. The furniture is old but that makes the hotel unique. Personal is very kind.

The place is a family home turned into a hostel and you can feel it everywhere. It's very welcoming and warm and Deborah is an amazing host (I didn't meet her husband during my stay). There's really good food for breakfast and if you give them a notice in advance, they will integrate your diet (vegan, gluten free) in their breakfast. Very recommendable place!

Nice old house, good owner. But very dirty and smelly, old beds and spots on the bed. The kitchen is terrible and without a microwave. It was hot, summer and opened the window and did not sleep all night and for mosquitoes. This place could have been better!

You will feel like at home. The whole family is bilingual and Debbie makes the best pancakes. Really oldschool house in the best possible way. We have always found adventure and chill people sharing the hostel. Clean, but not clean-cut-princess type of housing. Legitimate, authentic, good location

The owner, Catrina is very welcoming, I felt like home.

My train got delayed. Tried calling the number on hostelworld but its not working. Tried calling the number provided by google and it was constantly bussy (like for a whole hour) or they didn t anwser. So be prepared to find another accomodation if you want to check in after reception hours. Seems like they don t take this too seriously.

We stayed for 2 nights in Bucarest in Vila 11 hostel. We have experienced the following; Plus: - kitchen - cheap - piano to play - pets - friendly hosts - good location close to central trainstation - home setting (paitings/books/furniture etc) Minus: - Old beds whith springs sticking out and really wobbly - No airconditioning (really hot whith 5 people in a room) - Because windows are open all day, many insects in the rooms - Old facilities (shower/toilets etc.) - A bit messy everywhere, things all around

Spent a few weeks at this gem of a home and will definitely return. This vintage Bed n Breakfast is bargain priced and has ideal location, comfort and amenities for any traveller. Basic price with a bit of artistic decor, warm hospitality and helpful advice from Hosts Debbie and Stefan made my experience one to remember.

Very dirty, Bedbugs When we arrived, there was no one at the reception, although we announced via email when we were coming. (you have to reach them via the telephone number). The hostel was very dirty. The room we stayed in was not cleaned properly (rubbish not cleared & not vacuumed/dusted). The kitchen is very dirty. The oil splashes don't look like they happened recently. There is a lot of junk in the corners which collects dust and dirt. No wonder we found bed bugs there. We got our money back, but the owner was very rude and did not apologise. She said she would take care of the problem ... The group bedroom is very small. During our stay one of the toilets was blocked and the other one cannot be locked or closed properly. The water in the shower barely draines. A lot of the stuff looks very makeshift put together and like it hasn't been fixed properly. There was a musty smell in the rooms and the toilets smelled unpleasant throughout our stay. We booked two nights and only stayed one sleepless night.
